Yeah, the heat is just ridiculous -.-

91 degrees here today, but thunderstorms :(

yeah, i wish i had air conditioning. right now im sitting in front my my computer with my feet in a bucket of cold water... well it was cold... now its just a few degrees colder then my feet.

Yeah, we have air conditioning, but you wouldnt know it if you were in my room :/

It is too cold in the apartment. Boyfriend went overboard with the AC :P I am wearing a robe :lol:

your lucky, i wish it was that cold here. i can always put on a sweater, but i can only get so naked.

We were talking about the weather we've been having here right now, and about how the cold and I dont get along. I get cold really easily, and it chills me to the bone and I have a hard time warming up. But i'm not much more keen with the really hot weather, since like you said, there is only so much you can take off, and its still really hot. But with the cold, you can wear layers and take them off as you get warmer, or put them on as you get colder. :yes:

I feel so bad for abusing water, but god. Sweatysweaty.

@roxxy: currently im wearing a dress... and i live in canada. but if you wanted to watch me sweat, sure come on up. lol.

@suona: i know! im much more comfortable in the cold though then i am in the summer. i get heat stroke really easily because i have low blood pressure and i dont drink enough water. hopefully this year will be better then last. but its so freaken hot out that i dont have much hope for it.

yeah it's bad for long hair to be washed that much. o.o

You don't have to wash your hair every time you shower.
I generally shower once a day, but sometimes i'll shower in the afternoon if it's too hot.

What nightmare said. Our hairs have gots natural oils that they've gotta maintain sometimes, but not shampooing for more than a day can lead to super greasy hair. :gonk:

It's all based on the individual.
I can last for a few days before my hair becomes greasy; obviously this number is significantly lower if I'm working and sweating. There's no reason for you to shower every day unless you're going through puberty or you have been sweating during the day.

I only shower once every other day. I never saw the need to shower every day. I don't go out a lot. Lol.

I just walk out of school, get into my black car that has been sitting outside all day, just baking in the sun, then get home all drenched and needing shower.

I only shower every other day. I can't shower every day, or it dries out my skin and hair even more. And I dont have to worry about my hair getting oily. I could probably go a week without showering and it'd just barely start getting oily. But it makes it so that its hard to keep my hair healthier. People with oily hair, albeit having to deal with the annoyance of the oil, at least have a much easier time keeping it nice looking. Mine gets split ends really easy, and it doesn't help that its really long.

Oh goodness. Thats no good at all. I imagine that that'd be rather stressful. Thats a good reason to not like the heat, though.

Well, I guess the weather helps you most of the year XD;; Here people shower before school/work and then shower again after it. There are shops who sell only air conditioners because of the weather, still, it's hard not to sweat everyday here XD

Oh and my hair gets indecently greasy every 2-3 days. I once woke up too late to wash it, and went to school with greasy hair... and it was the only thing my teacher would notice :(
