Especially when you can't do anything on paper. I have a diploma for being an animator, but there is no work for starters like me. Which is really sad.
And everyone wants to have personnel that is 16 years old, with a drivers license (where I live you can only get a license when you're 18) and 30 years of experience.

i have yet to get a job for being a teen, but now i am 20 and don't feel like looking for a job. I will get me degree in studio art and creative writing. I shall be a poor starving artist.

I know how you feel. I feel like that too, and I still live with my parents. But I feel deep jealousy towards my boyfriend, he makes loads of money and spends it, while I have to flip every coin I have, pondering if I should buy things or not.
I need a shitload of new pants, but I just can't afford it.

i at least have parents with money and for now can mooch off them. after college though, methinks life will be hard. at least I am in a very good city for artist to start out and i've already got a chance to illustrate a book for a friend. hopefully I will survive.

I'm lucky though with one thing; my granddad will give his car to me when I get my drivers license.
