I am long overdue for new glasses.
I've had the same ones for six years and have not had an exam in the same amount.
Maybe more. So I need them. So I am excited for new glasses.

Yes you should.
But other things kind of get in the way sometimes and prevents us from doing that
like the car getting wrecked, laptops dying, moving, rent being real high etc.

But after i get my glasses it is straight to the license.
I want to get it by December.

Hello Fuu & Kirin.
I'm supposed to get my eyes checked twice a year, but I can't afford to do that since insurance will only pay for one visit.
I have a cataract that is supposed to be checked.

I was born with them.
I've had surgery to remove one of them already, but the other isn't bad enough for surgery yet.

It's good that theo ther isn't bad enough though right?

The eye that still has it only really gives me problems when I try to drive at night.
I see halos around lights, car headlights are the worst & I absolutely hate those super bright bluish white headlights.
Those give me bad headaches, so I don't drive at night if I can help it.
I know it has gotten a little worse, not enough to really make it impossible for night driving.
Had to get my drivers licences renewed this year & was able to actually pass the vision part without my glasses on.

That still sucks Damia I am so sorry.
but I am glad you were able to pass your renewal of your driver's license.

My family seems to be plagued with cataracts.
My grandmother was in her 60's when she had the surgery, mom was in her 50's, my brother was in his 40's & I was in my 30's when I had the first surgery.
My brother has also only had one of them removed.

Cataracts also make white seem sort of cream or brownish in color.
It is really noticeable when I cover one eye & look at something white then look at it with the other eye covered.
It's also a little test to see if you have a cataract.

My mom, who is going to be sixty six this year, can still pass her vision test without her glasses. And you should do it without your glasses for as long as you can.

Yes I am.
Been that way for years now.

I always try to pass it without them, don't want to have any restrictions on my licence.
Now I have 8 years before I have to get them renewed.

CRS means "Can't Remember S**T".
I don't remember what it was about now either.
Maybe it was about the boyfriend...or something else I saw in a different thread.
