Do people yell at you a lot?

I know some Customer Service workers get torn apart by pissed off customers.

Danse: I am financially screwed. Like, to the point where buying groceries is a fleeting though because I have bills to pay, and I had yet another fight with my boyfriend, I should be taking my meds, but I refuse to and I need to go in for surgery. Overall, I am tired to pretending to be happy to make everyone I know feel better.

My family is financially screwed right now, too; we do the same thing, pay the bills and see shopping as an after thought.

I'm not good with relationship advice so I'm going to just keep my mouth shut about that one.

Why are you refusing to take your medications?

Danse: I don't want to take my meds for several reasons, one of which being I don't have the $50 a month to afford the meds. Plus, they change my personality quite a bit... Its not pleasant on me. I mean, most people won't notice other then that fact I am much calmer, but for my I feel numb to the world.

I can relate to that, I have to take tons of medications for my depression and they often make me numb.

Seems your medication is doing you more harm than good; perhaps if you feel you can live without them you could start weening yourself off of them?

Danse: je pense que oui. I hate taking them. My mom forces me to when she is around, but seeing how I only see her twice a year... I dunno. I try taking them every so often, but yeah, I find they do much more harm then good.

Well, if you think that they're doing you more harm than good, maybe you should tell a doctor that; or like I said, you could ween yourself off of them.

If you do that, though, you'll need to do it slowly; stopping "cold turkey" could make your really sick.

Yeah, it's important to take a medication that doesn't do more harm than good. Rather than going OFF them though, I'd suggest talking to your doctor about putting you on something else.

It doesn't last forever, but your body has become used to taking them for so long that it's reacting negatively because it doesn't have them.
