My last flatmate was like that. His idea of washing a dish to start with was just waving it under the hot water tap. :roll:

LOL. Well we have a dishwasher. He says he's gonna do something and then it sits around and waits, then I get to impatient as I watch more piling up and I do them before it gets to bad. Then he says he was about to do them. Ya right... lol.

That's the worst! They try to make you feel bad for doing their job for them.

Hope he manages to get it done tonight.

I've been having to wash all our dishes by hand, since the dishwasher isn't hooked up.
But I hate dirty dishes in the sink (the laundry sink), so I do them every day.

With our nice new granite countertops, I won't want ANY dirty dishes stacking up.

I do them everyday too... but we haven't eaten at home for the past two days so the dishes that are piling up arent ours so like I said we'll see what happens. And no I don't feels bad... I get pissed off that he says he's gonna do it and I end up doing it so it dosen't get so bad... um sorry, I don't want bugs in my home. I cannot stand to have dishes sit out more that a day... ick ick ick.

My current flatmate washes her dishes straight after she's used them, that's a bit too much commitment for me. ^^;

I don't like them stacked up in the sink either.

mac, when this person gets up next time to say I was going to do those. Go, Ok, then why don't you get up and take over. There is many a time I have had to approach people and be like. "it's your turn to do the dishes today because you haven't done them for weeks.. you get to do all of them that are dirty not just a sink full.

Wow Jean. Were waiting to hear back on a gov loan if we can do ours. Our bathroom despartly needs it... we have clawfoot tub and one of the claws fell off so it's being held up with bricks. Our roof needs to be redone, and our electracl needs to be looked at.

Our Master Bath is next, but after this we'll probably take a year off before we tackle another project.

I might have to try that keres.

I'm used to doing them by hand, cuz that's what we have to do in the RV.
We don't have a huge RV that has a dishwasher in it.

Yeah mac, because at this point they are activity acknowledging that you are getting up to do them. if they can do that, then they can certainly clean the mess that they made.

Don't let them think your someone that can be walked all over. These people or this person, seems like they have got too comfortable where they are.

We usually take it out for the summer, but this year with the kitchen work we aren't going out.

We just had to take it in to get fixed cuz the roof was leaking.

We had gone to get it to take it to the beach for a weekend, but found the water instead.

Now it smells musty inside...
