It's so hella hard to sell em. D: I didn't think it would be but it kinda is, like on Gaia. I swear I have not sold an event set in a long long time.

Yeah V-day 08 or V-day 09 (in small quantities, I have like 3 sets already. :/) are okay. I wanted to get a Patty 09 in stock so now I have one since I got rid of one set. Easter is sellable in small parts...but the problem is, with EI's basically what happens is everyone that's new wants only a part of the set. So you sit there with half-gutted event sets trying to sell the rest off and it's just /facepalm material.

I wouldn't mind taking on one Celes paradi 08 since someone is buying parts of the one I have. But therein lies the issue. x.x Inventory clutter, stuff people got for free anyway, etc. I would rather just put it all into a good item. Lypi did a similar thing with her event stuff by overpaying a lot on a Carny pin. I'm surprised the girl that sold it took it, but she happened to like event items.

There's a good thing with keeping event items - at least one set per. If someone missed out on them, they'll want one set and may trade something big for it. But having more than one defeats the whole purpose. End up with too much to sell.

And ugh those Winter presents can DIAF.

i agree. i dont really like selling individual event items. unless it is absolutely necessary.
because ones you do sell some stuff from a set, someone comes in, wanting to buy one set when you just lost one or two items of the set. :cry:

if i have a broken set, i try to complete it. or if i cant find a seller for the other stuff, i sell them for low so someone would buy them. >.>;;

and hey those presents are nice... though only in December it can be used. XD or cosplays. lol
i remember, last year, you cant open the presents until its december 25th. it was such a surprise. oh i love mene for its crazy shit sometimes. XDDD

Yeah, I had a friend on Gaia that used to put together sets of items and sell them off and trade them for really good things. His name was Drunia. haha Had a female av though. So it is probably possible. And I try to collect items up for set too. But it's infinitely more annoying. x.x

So I just end up saying I don't want to sell singular items out of sets. But a friend may come along and want to buy a part of one and I am like "gah" and I cave because I'm nice. XD

I think most people are like that though.

Well the presents are like worth nothing. x.x That's the problem haha.

@Alexi - Yeah i agree, thats why im not splitting my sets. I don't want to end up with odds and ends and never being able to sell em. Lols @ Winter Sets. I think the only item i've ever used from those sets are the backgrounds.

@Nesseh - Totally agree with you there. I don't like taking parts of event sets in offers either. That irks me something chronic.

I got the 2k for the items and added it to the trade thank you for holding them for me.
