It is difficult to listen to criticism, but sometimes it can be helpful as long as it is not "hurtful/hateful" criticism.

It sounds as if you two do talk, and that would help, I think.

@Granny: He's not really talking much to me. He's still acting like he's mad at me. Like he doesn't believe me that I am trying to work on these things. I know it'll take a bit. I just hate how he is with me right now. I'm just really miserable. I know he'll get over it. It's just right now he's not too much of a happy person with me. I just have to give it time to show him that these things I'm doing are not temporary/desperate.

On a good note, Wednesday after we had the talk, he did agree to going out for lunch on Tuesday. Though based off of how he was yesterday. I don't know how to gauge him yet.

I'm planning to call the doctor's office tomorrow. Not only to have my prescription to be applied but also to seek psychological help. I have the idea that there is something wrong in my mind and I want to know what it is and how I can fix it.

I hope you can find a good counselor.
I think it can be very helpful to have somebody listen who may know how the psyche works.

At the very least, it can help set your mind at ease.

I would love it if I had someone to talk to about my problems and how to deal with them.

Sometimes a favorite teacher, or your minister may be able to help.
Many churches have youth counselors who can also be of help.

Yeah. I used to turn to a couple of my fave professors when I was at school. One of them said something which stuck in my mind to this day which is helping me deal with some of the stuff I'm dealing with right now.
Sucks I'm not going back to school. I miss just random chatting with the one professor.

I was never very close with the professors at college.
Generally, the classes were too large.

Mine weren't that large, there were about 25ish at the most in some of my classes. Lecture hall classes I had were larger. The professor I talked to the most was from my major and I had him for all of my semesters there. ^^

Yeah, it was. Things were better then.
Sadly I don't work yet. I'm still looking for a job. Well... kind of. I've just gotten into a rut myself and my boyfriend continuing to be the way he is with me is putting me into a depression myself and I feel bad for myself and don't have a lot of self-confidence.
Thursday I'm hoping to get my hair cut. Maybe he'll notice that. I hope since I'll be a little better about myself if it turns out good.

yeah i was kinda relieved when i got discharged today i was almost afraid they'd keep me there the rest of the week.
