Bahaha, the eternal Phoenix. xDDDD

I don't think I've heard of Drocell before. o .o; Is he one of the anime-only characters?

One thing that's always confused me is Tanaka...I know he was Ciel's old butler, but wasn't he killed back when the Phantomhive family were murdered? Or did Sebastien somehow bring him back...

I'm hoping the Undertaker will make an appearance again soon! The current arc was a big draggy. I'm like, get the sports stuff over already! I wanna know what's up with the elusive principle who could evade even a demon. My bet's on that the principle's not human either. o 3o

I love Kuroshitsuji! Why haven't I seen this thread before...?
Right now I'm having a raging fangirl -mode because of the latest page of doujinshi "Obsessia". Anyone heard about that? It's pretty great with awesome plot and drawing style. :3

I've seen all of the anime and read the manga. I don't like this cricket arc. It's boring, though the last cute pictures of Sebastian and Ciel were nice. ^_^ Yep, I'm a SebaxCiel fangirl :D

This thread had been buried for a while because no one responded...I had hoped it wouldn't die completely. ^^

I haven't heard of Obsessia, what's it about? :o

Bahaha yeah, the cricket part was so boring I wanted it over with already. Thank the gods that in the last chapter it finally ended and they could focus on the principal now.

Not a fan of Ciel x anyone myself, I'm not into pedophilia. x ___x;; I don't think there's really a pairing I like in Kuroshitsuji yet so far. xD

Hehe, I know. Ciel's face xP

So do I. I wish the chapters came out quicker. But being a mangaka is hard work, I'm not complaining ;u;

I was just wish she wasn't dragging the chapters out. But yeah, her drawing style must be really exhausting with all the details, though maybe she has assistants for that.

i saw 'Kuroshitsuji' come up in the 'spy' tab of the forums...
and had to respond here. q u q <33 just leave my little mark
on the forum of an anime that i happen to LOVE. > o >

anyhoo, i've only seen the anime of black butler... mostly
because i leave it running in the background when i'm busy
and i can understand it without subtitles... so i can soak up
what's happening without having to pay attention. lol

i am slowly but surely reading the manga chapters though.
> o >U which i happen to really like!

back to the anime though... i didn't like season two at all.
as an anime, it's nice. but as a continuation of kuroshitsuji,
it really really disappointed me. . _ .

anyhoo, mangaka schedule! have you ever looked at one?
o u o they do have assistances, buuuuut have a look at this~
o 3 o one day, i too shall have this grueling timetable to work
with. = 3 =

Oh my god D:
Free time not spent working on comic: 3 hours a week.
I'd never be able to do this ;___;
That's why I mentioned it is incredibly hard work on the mangaka's behalf (and assistants) so I'm really grateful for all their hard work <3

Oh dear gods, poor mangakas & assistants.

But yeah...just thinking about how long it'd take for me to draw 19 - 20 pages of manga makes me cringe, let along getting it done in seven days.

haha~ i know, right~? o A o

dino;; i'd love to do it though~ because i'd essentially be working on what
i love most… and i have that type of ability to ignore everything else and
work single mindedly on something for weeks on end. P: so i think i'd like
to do work as a weekly mangaka. o x o but yes, assistants are always well
appreciated. o u o have you seen the making behind 'Spirited Away'? off
topic of Kuroshitsuji, but on the making of Japanese art with the use of
assistants, i would suggest watching the special feature of the making of
to get a good feel of a fast pace, art creation enviornment in japan. o u o

antagonist;; o 3 o indeed, right? especially with all of the manga pirating
and unauthorized translations and all of the scantilations… > _ > which
is why i try not to read the manga online, or if i do, i demand to myself that
i will later pay back the mangaka by buying their manga or anime series
when i can afford it. x u xU umyuu~ o 3 o

but it looks uuber difficult, ne? > o > i can only imagine the satan that
comes along with such a heavy workload… at least they get sleep time
thoough… but if you watch the making of i mentioned before, it's more
like time to lay down in the closet. lol

back to the topic of kuroshitsuji, sebastian has to be my all time favorite
character. he's lovely, and cunning, and clever, and talented. > _ > and
just so… business like and non personal. i love that about him. = u = <3

lot to me. q u q <33 umyuuu~ i need more kuroshitsuji pride on
there though. lol xD i have almost no fan art. q A q i need a picture

@Doll: Yeah, I know, the mangaka sometimes only does the rough drafts or some characters and lets the assistants do the inking and stuff, or they'd never be able to get everything done. xD Some mangakas do more work than others, depending. I know some mangakas who insist on lining all his/her drafts and the assistants only do the inking and backgrounds, while others just do the drafts and the assistants do all the inking and lining and whatever else.

Well, for Sebastian it is business, as he/she's a demon and is only after his/her contract's soul. xD I used she and her because when Sebastian first appeared to Ciel after the ritual he was wearing heels, and since as a demon he can change his appearance it's hard to tell if they even have genders in the first place. For all we know demons are a type of shapeshifter with no set genders and can appear to be whatever they want to be in the human world.

My favorite's the Undertaker; he's so funny and I like how he's all about fun and games and amusement. It's what I'm after too. xD All my characters and stuff in stories or games are like that; in pursuit of fun and games and happiness, some at the expense of others.

@Dinosaur:
Me too! I'm a huge procrastinator. XDDD And to think of all the details they have in the pages too, I can never manage that. A doodle here and there, yeah sure, but all the screens and placing and backgrounds and little decorations? Dx *dead*

o 3 o i would never EVER let my assistants do more work than me.
i would ALWAYS try to either split the work between everyone evenly,
or only give them the jobs that i really can't/ don't have time to do. > o >
i'd probably make them do a lot of background work. q u q umyuuu~
/fails

o 3 o and that's what i love~ no emotions getting in the way. = u = so
professional. q u q i just call sebastian a he because sebastian isn't
even his real name~ o 3 o so i refer to him as i know him. o u o <333
but that's an interesting concept~ gender is an amusing thing to me~

o 3 o the undertaker is cool. n _ n <33 i enjoy his humor. o 3 o he's
one of the more interesting characters~ = u = <33

i'd make sure both of you met your dead lines if it were up to me!

Maybe sometimes the mangakas have to come up with the story, so he/she draws some drafts for the story, then stops to brainstorm some more and let the assistants help through the drawing bits first? xD But yeah, I wouldn't let my assistants do more work than myself either, it'd feel like it wasn't actually my own work and more like a collaboration, and I'd feel guilty about working them so hard...

Haha, I want to know what Sebastian's real name is. xD And what It really looks like, in its true demon form. I heard that in the Kuroshitsuji anime that the demons look pretty much like humans except with fangs and claws and slitted eyes? @ A@ I hope not, I really want something that looks out of the world, and truly monstrous to fit in with the name of 'demon'.

Yeah! I wanna know the Undertaker's background story too, such as the story to the rosary beads of his, and why he had left the shinigami.
His scythe is totally the coolest weapon so far in the series. xD

I love Undertaker, he's just so creepy! x3 I believe we will (okay, I truly madly deeply hope ) get to know his story someday. Though I've read from youTube comments, that someones believe that the principal is Undertaker. Huh. Do you have any theories about the principal?
I liked the second season. Well okay, I didn't like the ending and the whole Hannah-thing, but I loved Alois and Claude! ^_^ more Alois though, but you just simply cannot forget that beautiful face of Claude when he got to taste little Ciel's blood. He looked like he saw unicorns running and screaming him to come and eat candy with them! >u<

Did you already know about Sebastiën Michaelis? That he was accually a living person in the 17th century, if I rember right. A French priest and inquisitor who's famous for his book about devils. ^_^ oh the irony!

um Obsessia is the second part of Miseria -saga. Doujinshi by Neneko. The pairing is SebaCiel, though there's many others in the background and it's not just love and fluffiness. Is pretty dark really. And the drawing style is beautiful.

Huh, that's a theory/guess I haven't thought of before. :o
Would be interesting if it were him, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were him...he's certainly capable of escaping Sebastian in a chase. xD But the silhouettes of the principal that have appeared a few times doesn't look like him...unless he's managed to hide all that hair somewhere/got a haircut...

I was thinking maybe another demon or possibly an angel. I mean, if there are demons, then there should be angels in the Kuroshitsuji world too, right? XD;;

lol, A lot of mangas like using those irony stuffs when naming/creating their characters. XD I know One Piece uses a bunch of mashups of real pirates' names who existed in the past. o 3o

Hmm...is there a link where I can read it? :o

antagonist;; o 3 o this is true. sort of like the collaboration with
obata takeshi's collaboration with ohba tsugumi on death note~
even though ohba isn't a mangaka, it's sort of what you were
saying. o 3 o <33

i love collaborating, but yeah, i'd only let them do small, minor
jobs… or backgrounds. /fails

i like the idea of the demons being grotesque and creepy looking…
i designed a rp character who was a demon, and when i showed
my friend the design, she was like, 'EWWW, THAT'S GROSS.'
and made me change it up. it's so sad that all demons need to be
attractive for people to think they're cool. u _ u

mimmu;; oooh? that's pretty cool~ o u o where do they reveal that
information~?? o A o what chapter is it in the mangaaa~? > o >

that sounds like a nice manga~ = u = would be curious about the
art, but i don't ship the pairing. o x o still, sounds nice. o u o

dinosaur;; i would so totally do it. i'd with hold food from you…
"where's my food!? q A q"
"where's my manga chapter? > _ >"

Oh, that wasn't what I meant, but yeah, there're those too, I think it's pretty common in the Japanese manga industry. Someone who has the skills but not the brains, and someone who has the stories but not the skills collaborate and stuff.

What the...
I get that it's popular for demons and monsters and stuff to look attractive nowadays, but still...traditionally, demons and vampires were supposed to look ugly as hell. And now people don't like it when demons aren't what they consider 'pretty'? >__>
Do you have a picture of what your character looked like before you changed it? And a picture of it after you changed it? :o

That's true. Even demons meant to seduce, like Incubus, had some really ugly depictions...
Of course in the world of modern anime, everyone/thing must be pretty to appeal to the audience.

Yeah...unless the manga's seinen or something, where you get to draw ugly stuff that's still popular with the audience. (like Berserk's apostles, for one)
