She scoffed. "But keeping a live one running around wouldn't be sanitary for a restaurant. There are certain health codes, you know!"

Devlin was grinning, watching another battle ensue. A day in the life of the Wallflower Cafe.

((Sorry I haven't been able to role-play much today. I've been super busy with homework and I have classes all day tomorrow, but maybe I'll see you all tomorrow night!))

Richard was sad to see Cindy go before she could get something to eat. "Oh well," he thought, "She'll be back tomorrow most likely." He had been quietly listening to the random banter from Cookie and the rest of the crew. "Frogs, pigs, and kiddie pools! Oh my!" Richard said, "I'm going to have to agree with Izzy on the pig thing. I don't think the IRS would approve."

((Wow, I missed a lot))

"Spoilsport," she says to Iz.

"And what the heck does the IRS have to do with pigs?" Cookie asks, turning to Richard. "Pigs don't pay taxes."

"But they do have something to do with closing down cafes and such for random things...like pigs running around the place." Richard stated, "It's unsanitary. So therefore the closing."

Cookie shakes her head. "No. IRS is Internal Revenue Service. They're all about taxes. If someone takes exception to my theoretical pig, they would call the health department and they'd likely send out an inspector to see what the heck we're doing here. And as long as Isabella properly bathes the pig and watches over it, there won't be any problems."

"Or something. I just know the IRS closes things down for stupid reasons," Richard said, "I don't think Izzy would like that very much."

"You're one of those people aren't you? One of those people who comes up with crazy conspiracy theories about the government and you've decided that the IRS shuts down restaurants for pigs. And you people call me crazy." She shakes her head. "Next thing you know you're gonna tell me that police officers are actually evil aliens disguised as humans here to cause terror and destruction. Or something."

"Cookie, I thought you were the expert on those," Richard teased, "No, I'm just a guy who gets fed random information. Then I relay it to someone else to see if it's true or not. I thought you knew that already."

"Oi Dev can you make me a bubble tea cause I have a feeling this is gonna talk a while."Alex says motioning towards the fight

"So you're using me as a lie detector? And in the mean time you're walking around in an ignorant cloud of bliss? I know my brain is a fount of boundless knowledge and wonder, but this!" Cookie tsks. "Richard, Richard, Richard. We'll get some knowledge in you yet. Even if I have to grind up the encyclopedia and sprinkle it in your food. You can digest it and absorb it through osmosis." She smiles and pats his cheek.

"I use everyone, not just you Cookie," Richard sighed, "I rather like getting random information. You can't get all your sources from one sight," he then thought of a good way to possibly end the areguement. "Would you like some of my special soup?"

"Richard we all know your special soup is just your tomato and onion soup mixed together. Oh wait nope I just wanted you to make me a bowl of the two mixed together so can you pwease."Alex asked with her ubber deathly sweet puppy dog eyes.

"No. It will probably leech the brain cells out of me won't it? It will beam them up to outer space for the aliens to probe at while the government keeps it all real hush hush and you get paid in cucumbers." Cookie sticks her tongue out.

"How else do you think I get so many cucumbers," Richard then looked at Alex, "Sure I'll see what I can whip up. He went to the kitchen and though about how to make a tomato/onion soup. "Lets, see. What do I have to work with?"

"You could have at least opted for a more tasty vegetable, like eggplant! Cucumbers are gross." She makes a face and looks around the cafe. "We're slow today. We need something exciting to happen. Gotta shake things up around here."

"But Cucumbers turned sour are pickles and everyone loves pickles. Pluce think of all the dirty jokes you can make with cucumbers."Alex said with a nod.

Cookie looks at Alex. "Well I guess we know where your mind resides? Solidly in the gutter. But now we also know why Richard has a think for cucumbers. He likes their probing powers." She snickers. "They really tickle his pickle."

Alex burst out laugh"good one boss!"

Cindy is walking by the Cafe looking in longingly into the windows as she continues onto the library to do all the busywork her teachers gave her.

((Y'all whatever you need for drinks just raid the fridge like Dev made more ready-made stuff. I'm so tired I nearly ran over a guy today while trying to leave campus - no lie. Be back later tonight when I'm recovered - only 1.5 hours of sleep this morning.))

Richard finally decided a perfect way of making the soup Alex had requested. He took some of the tomato soup that was ready made and warmed it up. As the tomato soup was warming up. Richard made a new batch on onion soup. He cut the onions and made the cream out of potatoes. He fried the onions until they were clear and then put them into the cream. After a few minutes the onion soup was finished and the tomato soup was done warming up.

"And now for the tricky part." Richard then took out a soup bowl and started to pour both soups into it at the same time. He was careful not to let it overflow. He stoped pouring when the soup was about an half an inch from the top. Then taking a spoon, he made a few swirls so that it looked like two raindrops moving in an endless circle. He went out to the front and gave Alex her soup. “Here you go,” he said smiling sweetly.

Cindy strolled in happy she was finished at the library. She sat at the counter where she usually does and chilled in the nonchalant atmosphere.

"Thank you Richard."Alex said with a smile she the picked up a spoon an took a taste of the soup."its so yummy but hmm it needs somthing Richard do we have some garlic."
