We would have taken them to a no-kill shelter soon, but the ones we have around here require you to get them vaccines and I think a few other things, which we don't have enough money to get for ALL of our cats.
So the pounds is the best place for them.

And I really hate how people only get kittens. I mean yeah, they're cute, but the older cats are cute too!

Yeah, I think the only cat sanctuary is a while away. And in a way I'd feel bad because there are cats that are worse off. :c

The cat was uber fluffy and silver-colored with a white belly, paws, and muzzle.
But after a while she stopped answering to anything BUT Kikyo, so I gave up.

When I found them, one was dead, but the others were still alive and my mom and I nursed them back to health....we cleaned them up and fed them with an eye dropper. They were doing fine when we gave them up, one of them was even starting to see a little, I think, because sometimes it would follow movement. But the solid white one that got adopted was completely blind.

I wanted to keep her, but my mom convinced me that she would get bullied by the other cats so I gave her to these women who lived down the street. I was picky about who got her, because I had done so much to make her well. >.o But they were really nice and loved each other, so I figured they'd have a good home for the kitten. ^^

I'm glad most of them made it and they were OK.
Yeah, you get really attached to animals when you nurse them back to health.
You create a very strong bond, so it's hard to let them go.
We're also very picky with who gets our cats. We don't want someone dropping them on teh side of teh street if they can't take care of them or don't want them.
Our cats tend to pick on the two blind ones we have. xD;;
Especially Marylin.

I played with a litter of black kitten at a petshop once... good thing I had glove but it was fun :3!

I've had a black cat at some point or another since I was like 8 years old. But I don't have one now....I just have my Sweet Pea.
Its weird not having a black cat though, too.
