Yeah, I figured out how to change it within like five minutes of having the new version. The moment I realized what was going on I was like oh hell no

Yeah it is and there's still things I could find easily before that I can't find now but anything that is required for an MLA paper I figured out pretty quickly

my new favorite thing is copy and pasting paragraph style. if I can't fix what word or the internet or whatever styles something as, I just paste paragraph style and fix it in one step.

we were talking about how Microsoft word is different from previous versions and the new jerk thing it does with adding extra space every time you start a new paragraph so it looks like you double spaced.

I love the mouse pad. it's a much better design and you can do so much more. I couldn't scroll with the touch pad from my old computer.

it was a bit of a hassle. doesn't seem to bother and/or do anything wrong for my brother though. he inherited my old computer.
I have decided I want to be an editor instead of an artist.

yeah. I was reading a blog yesterday that made it sound someone easy to get the job too. or rather, that you don't need to follow some strict one way path to get there. people just fall into the job because they happen to be good at it.

it seems like a fun place to be. If you can't get published, at least work for the publishers.

but being an editor would be almost as fun as writing. Gotta love them commas and we shall smite those many many people who don't know what a semicolon is for!!

I mean, as far as I know, you just put them in when you're connecting two complete sentences. if you can put a period where your semicolon is and not have a fragment, you put the semicolon in the right place. Unless I've deluded myself since last semester when Wingsy said I was right.

How are they?
p.s. I like writing stories but they never really make much sense after a few pages haha :(

I dunno how writing workshops are outside of a school setting, but I've always had a good experience. I love doing the critiques on each other's work.
why do they cease to make sense?
|
Hmm possibly, just did a brief google search on the term "doujinshi" since I never heard or seen it before. That could be the particular term for which I'm talking about. But here's an example of what I mean -- this is a really good comic, I love it! Just which it was perm dead/temp dead-- Pandect by Dina Situ. It's a Shounen-ai comic, so if anyone doesn't like stuff like that please steer clear ^_^ (Found it from onlinecomics.net)
Could in more detail elaborate what the writing workshops do?
