Yugi nodded. "Yeah....alarm clocks suck." He said with a laugh. "Good luck, Ashleigh."

"I hope you can visit again soon" Ashleigh said, nodding at Yugi's comment, "Tell everyone that I'm ok and I miss them.'

Yugi nodded. "I will." And with that, his form finally faded as he left.

"Just one question," Yuma said, taking a closer look at Sakura's device.

"Yeah?" Sakura asked.

"How do you enter?"

Sakura picked up the device and stowed it back in her pocket. "Either via the Outernet--galactic version of the Internet--or in-person. Thankfully, within the next day or so, we should be at the main drifter colony for this area of the galaxy, where the tournament is going to be held. You guys can register then, if you want to compete."

Yana moved more closer to her mother.
"You will be fine mum, I'm sure of it" she said, and the pair hugged.

Back, 5000 years before, Yugi was visiting Yana, who still at this time (since it was before the hand-off), in a coma. At this time, Selena and Aki Izayoi (also known as Akiza), entered the room.
"Yusei's back in surgary to have another attempt of closing the wound" Aki said, but noticed a gleam in his eyes.

Selena frowned. "Yugi, do you know something we don't?" She typed on her phone.

Yugi smiled. "Maybe..." He said.

"Wait...'drifter colony'?" Todoroki asked.

"It's...a long story." Selena replied. "But, I suppose we have time for then explanation." She took a seat and explained everything to the group, including the fact that Earth was...lost.

"Selena, are you having your implants checked out?" Aki asked.

"I have to go mum" Yana said, "I have to go to bed. I see you in the morning." Then Yana disappeard.
Now to show myself to the heartlandians Ashleigh thought.

Selena nodded. "Minor final calibrations, mostly to make them sound like me." She replied.

"No way...." Yuma said. He was in shock, to say the least. "You're saying...that Earth's uninhabitable?"

"And it's pretty much a myth by now," Sakura replied. "I want to prove that false."

Then a wiff of ciminom entered the room as Ashleigh appeared.
"That is because of the immortals decided to raise their heads once more" she replied.

Aki turned her attention back to Yugi.
"So care to tell us why you are happy?" she asked.

"Immortals?" Yuma asked.

"The Earthbound Immortals." Sakura replied. "They first showed up in Yusei Fudo's time; I fought along side Team 5Ds against them. They returned with the Orechalcos, and combined..." She trailed off, the meaning clear.

"Let's just say...Ashleigh's going to be all right." Yugi replied.

"That's good. She didn't look that good when she left" Aki said, letting out a sigh of relief.

"That's right" Ashleigh replied, then noticed that most of the group was staring at her.

"Ashleigh...what are you wearing?" Selena asked finally. "You look....different."

"This is my Arch Form" Ashleigh replied, looking at Selena with her blood red eyes.

"As in...Arch Angel?" Selena asked, her brow furrowing.

"Arch angel? Huh?" Yuma asked. Astral sighed.

"Yes" Ashleigh replied, "As in Arch Angel."

"I see," Selena replied. She glanced back to Yuma, who was still gawking. "Er...maybe you should change back before Yuma's brain overloads."

Ashleigh nodded and chaged back to Laria, still with the key necklace on.
"That's better."

"....What just happened?" Yuma asked.

Selena sighed. "I swear...you're worse than Jonouchi...."

"I did that to show you Yuma, that I'm actually an angel" Laria replied, "so you're not alone."

"Okay then..." Yuma said.

Selena checked her watch. It was past two in the morning. She yawned, finally realizing how tired she was. "On another note, guys, maybe it would be best if we save more of the explanations till tomorrow. That way, we can all get some sleep."

"I guess so too" Laria replied, also yawning, "I see you in the morning." With that, she headed to her quarters.

The group trickled out of the rec room, but Yuma hesitated.

"Yuma....we'll get Ryoga back. I promise you that." Sakura said.

"Y-yeah...." Yuma said, still lingering.

After a few moments of silence, Sakura stepped up next to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. The grip was firm, a lot firmer than he'd been expecting. "We'll get him back, Yuma. Until then, get some sleep. No doubt it's been a long day for you and Astral."

Yuma nodded. "You think...Kaimiri's really going to make Shark duel for him in that tournament?" He asked softly.

Sakura nodded. "I don't doubt it. When I last met him, he didn't duel. I wouldn't be surprised if this is his way of making the first move."

On their way back to their quarters, Melhana had a question for Atem. "Why do you think Kaimiri took that Ryoga kid? It couldn't have been just to spite us."

"Melhana, you should know by now that anything is possible for tornaments, so there is a possiblity that it could happen" Atem replied, "We're just lucky it's not someone who can harness great power, unlike Kaimiri......" that's when he stopped, sniffed and then ran towards Amelia's quarters.

Amelia couldn't sleep. At last she sat up, only to find Kaimiri in her room.
"It's you again" she said, "why are you after me?"

"What..." Melhana started, then picked up on the scent. "That bastard..." she followed Atem, heading towards Amelia's quarters.

"Can't I just watch you sleep? My, you are a suspicious lot." Kaimiri replied.

"What do you want from me?" Amelia demanded, "I want to know."

"I want you to remember." Kaimiri replied. "Remember five thousand years ago, when we were fighting those meddling fools."
