Haha If I ever use Google Translate, I have to remind myself that they translate things just. so. literally.
English to Chinese and vice versa was hilarious to read.

Though when I mentioned apps, there are apps now specially designed for travelers traveling abroad, so they're more like phrasebooks than anything. The good thing is that because it's on a digital platform, it's theoretically limitless AND comes with a search function for quick finds.

Search function is super love * u * Like that's the whole reason why I keep digital copies of my textbooks (even though I prefer reading from an actual textbook) because searching it is love. <3

I still prefer reading text and books when they're well, books. xD
I find reading them on screen make my eyes tired and dry after awhile.

That does sound pretty swanky. Not that I'll use it because I don't have that much data and wifi isn't very plentiful here, but if I didn't have those concerns, it might be pretty useful.
