Nope, not really.
It sounds this one is slightly smaller, and the HR lady tried to reassure me that this one didn't seem to have as many problems as the one I'm on now. At the same time it still sounds too big for it's own good, and that it's riddled with its own problems. I guess it's just a matter of perspective. If it pays less, and the hours are not as cushy...what's the point?
I still haven't heard from this talent lady. I thought she was going to contact me after the end of my shift. I left her the exact time I was done, and even tried to call her after I was finished. I went straight back to a voicemail box. I'm hoping she calls me tomorrow. If I don't hear anything by the end of business then, I will definitely be on the phone with HR again on Monday. I'll let her know as she's more in tune than the account manager with recruitment. I called the Accounts Manager today and he basically said in the nicest terms that at this point 'it's out of his hands'. He can help me with issues within the current program, but outside of it it's a whole different department.
I guess I just have to say oh fucking well, shrug my shoulders and just work like I am now -- without overanalyzing everything. As long as I get the real important stuff, the rest if I try to do my best job I have to then tell myself I gave it my best shot and that's that.

That's all you can do. I think a lot of it will be not talking to your supervisor about personal stuff, if I had to make a guess. Don't give them any reason to doubt you.

Still haven't heard anything back from anyone...Starting to wonder.
I had an interesting night of sleep. I slept for a couple of hours from like 7-10, woke up and was up until like 5am and then fell asleep from about 5-7:30. After Aaron and I spent a little time together I went to bed at 9, and didn't get up until noonish. I feel alright. A little laggy, a little blah but I'm not really tired. I'm just hoping that I didn't screw up my sleep schedule too bad.
Also I went over to my friend's house around midnight and talked up a storm. I tried to keep the heavy stuff from just overtaking the whole conversation, and we got to talk about other fun things like makeup. Also she let me know how Trick or Treating went for her son. Apparently in one of the trailerparks she went to some old lady chastised her son for walking across her grass and when he got to her door she said it in front of all the kids how rude he was and he set a bad example for all these other kids. Then told the other kids to take two pieces of candy, but he could only get one and it had to be a small piece. If I were him I would of said no thanks, walked across her grass again and left.

GOOD NEWS!!!
Finally got that phone call about the job and the Vitamin program opened up a couple more slots. I'm keeping near identical my shift working Sun-Thurs 9am-5pm. It's technically part time, and it's only $9 an hour...so $2 less...but I will happily take it if it means that I'm happier and not as stressed out. This has put me in an unbelievably good mood as finally I have gotten my confirmation email and have one more week at the hellish program I'm working at now before I can transition into something more stable. It's probably good timing as they are culling dead wood at the phone place and voluntary jump offs all week and even forcing others to leave early.
I also have my meeting with my counselor on Tuesday which I can take my ADA forms in and have her help me fill them out. I would start filling in what I know but I think it's meant for her to do, not myself. I'll go ahead and do my 'homework' for her as she requested but will push that those get filled out post haste so I can turn them into HR and have that to help back me up if the need arises.
Hoping things are going good for you. I know you are needing it too.

I'm glad to hear work is shifting for you. <3
Things here are quickly sucking again. Cole's car muffler fell off, and I think since you know the other similar story, I don't need to go on at length as to why this is bothering me. ;) My car is currently in the shop again, to boot.

Man, Chi...you've really been having a rough time with your cars.
I did tell you a week ago about the car not starting, and Aaron locking his keys in the car? Talk about a shitty day. But it ended with his friend paying $140 for a new starter. When Aaron asked how he could pay him back his response was that this was just what friends did for each other. I was blown away by his generosity. Otherwise, it could of been a hell of a lot worse situation.

Velvet, yep, I do. I figure if it sells, yay, if not oh well. I'm going to try to go for the Medal that's in the MP, if I can collect the pure of course. :)
Yep, tell me about it Izumi. I'm so beyond exhausted and emotionally (and financially) drained with the damned cars. Enough is enough.

I just don't do good with anything that has wheels...I try to stay away.
I've just been chilling, playing pokemon tonight. A bit butt hurt as I need a specific trainer to show up so I can test IVs and of course I have 10 pokemon to run through and test and I can't. lol.
Other than that I've been feeling better than I have in a long, long time. Loving it.

I unfortunately don't have a choice but to do the two vehicles. Cole and I have to be at two different places each morning at different times, with one of us hanging back to get Terra to daycare on time. :p

Yeah I can understand as you both have separate agendas, and just can't get away doing what I do. Most people tell me they don't know how I do as I do, as they're like they would of lost their sanity years ago...It's funny as it's a perspective thing. I feel safer...I'd like to legally be able to do it, but I would only want to as a last resort. I am fearful/dislike the actual act of driving that much...It's funny what fear can do to a person.
Anyways, Still feeling pretty good. Haven't slept worth a damn but it's been nice staying up and spending more time with Aaron.

I can understand how and why you do what you do. I just worry what would happen to you if Aaron suddenly passed away and you'd then be "forced" to get out of your comfort zone, you know? I don't like driving, and I used to fear it to the point I didn't approach it--period. I'm really grateful for that case management job, as I was forced to really get through a lot of it.
I've driven in the city since, too. I just need to keep practicing so that I get over it. Still not quite ready. ;) I don't know if you truly grasp that I have the same incapacitating fear about it that you do, but on a specific level now because I desensitized myself to the others.
My right hand is numb and it's driving me bananas. The right thumb and part of my index finger, and the hand area that connects them. I THINK it's because I had Twix yesterday (Halloween bucket). It annoys me my allergies have gotten that bad. I've had two rounds of the allergy meds, so I hope it goes away today. O_o If not it's something else, and that's more worrisome. I actually can't feel my thumb.

Just noticed you have a pudao for sale going for 100k (it may be the high end of the MP, but it is something I'm interested in)...and you said you'd offer around 150k for the medal.
How about Pudao and 50k pure?

Whoa Twix would make you have an allergic reaction like that?
I've eaten way too much candy in the past couple of days. Luckily no reactions like that, but my teeth remind me that they aren't quite happy with sweet things. ^_^; Luckily, I'm not that big of a sweet fan anyways. I did pick up some starbust candy corn. It sounded like a novel idea...too waxy. I told the kids they're welcome to it...otherwise I'll just throw the bag out.
I know I could get back to where I was previously before I moved to England. I was pretty comfortable driving my normal routes to work, school, and the grocery store. Anything else was kinda iffy. Eventually I need to get back out there, cause as you said if something happens to Aaron I'm going to be in trouble...

We took Tristan swimming today at the local community college. I sat and played in the water for an hour. I did end up getting another 3 hour nap in, so I got about 5 hours in total. Feeling a little tired, but not too bad. Hopefully that will mean I sleep good tonight.
