This is completely out of curiosity, and I will admit that I haven't gone through the rest of the posts (only the first page) but will html codes help to earn more gold because doing so forces the user to type more, or not because readers don't actually see the codes...? Other than that, this is a very helpful way to earn gold. It seems like a great idea, though I must admit it can be a tad frustrating. Hehe, that's just a bit of impatience for you. =D

Do you mean BBCode, such as [b] for bolding? I don't believe HTML is fully supported when it comes to post-formatting. If that's what you are referring to, then no it will not earn you any extra gold. The point is to reward users for what they type, not for auto-formatting their posts with a half-dozen different colors. :yes:

Wow this was definitly extremely helpful. As everyone else is saying. I wish I had read this sooner due to the fact that I learned the hard way not to double post by being warned. I simply just forgot to type out what I had to say the first time and added some. Now I know not to do that again !

This has been quite a helpful little thread. Still, I wish that there was some sort of starter set available from the beginning. I was a little deterred in the idea of posting due to the fact that my character had nothing to wear except a shirt I had bought from playing a lot of games. the fact that there was a thread like this helped to ease the tension, i guess.
