Then again, I had been exposed to his works much earlier. My fascination with him actually started when I was around 12, and went on my first spelunking expedition. The main chamber in the cave was called Xanadu, and the absolutely massive pillar in the center was known as Kubla Khan. After seeing a sight like that the first time, of course I had to see what these stunning formations were named after!

And now the song "Xanadu" is going to be stuck in my head all afternoon....

Added to the list.

I have a handful of poets up there already, so I don't mind adding in a few more.
Who do you have in mind?

Well, a lot of poets. I mean, a lot.
John Milton for Paradise Lost and it's impact on later literature.
William Blake
William Wordsworth
Percy Shelly
Lord Byron
John Keats
Elizabeth Barrett Browing
William Butler Yeats
T.S. Eliot
Maybe James Joyce
Those are just the names I can tell you off the top of my head in roughly chronological order. xD

Wordsworth is up there.
But I picked out four more and added them to the list, to balance out the poetry:
Blake
Lord Byron
Keats
& Elliot

Helps if I cross-check my list with yours before posting. o:
You convinced me to go and find my Brit Lit textbook just for the heck of it. I've narrowed it down to one pile of stuff which i'll be attacking soon.

Hop to!
You can never read enough English lit.
If you're interested, just look up some of the poetry online and get a taste of it. Then you'll start to know which authors you're most interested in.

Sounds like fun.
If you stumble across any other important names that haven't been listed, just give a shout!
