Daemira smiled, sadly. "Unfortunately yes. Sauron was the favored servant of the dark Valar, Morgoth. Morgoth bestowed upon Sauron all his dark power and will to dominate."

"LIke the Ring kinda?" said Fronod

Daemira looked thoughtful. "Yes...I suppose you could say that. All Sauron knew came from his dark master."

She dusted her robes off. "I can explain more to you on the way to Minas Tirith," she said. "But we must warn King Aragorn." She whistled, and the great black steed that had remained at the stream drinking during the entire fight lazily shook its great head and trotted over to her.

"Meet Pyro," Daemira said. "She is my firemare."
Pyro looked to Fronod and actually gave a courteous bow.

Fronod bowed in return "King Aragorn do you really think he will be able to help?"

"If there is anyone in this world who can help, I am sure it is King Aragorn." Daemira mounted her horse. "Do you have a mount?"

"No i came on foot" said Fronod

"Well, in that case..." she offered Fronod her hand. "You're welcome to travel with me."

"thank you very much "said Fronod taking the hand

Daemira pulled Fronod up behind her. "Now, do hold on. My dearest here is very fast." Pyro gave a fierce nod and, rearing up on her hind legs and letting out a sound that could only closely resemble a dragon, took of at a blinding speed towards the white city, a plume of flame streaking the ground with every massive step.

Fronod tightned his grip as the spead off he watched the fire beneath them as best as he could

Aria sat upon a grassy hill gazing down at the rolling hills before her. A slight gust of wind blow a few strands of her blond almost silver hair blew in front of her. She sighed and quickly brushed them away behind her pointed ears. What am I doing here, she thought somberly. She left her tranquil home of Lothlorien to find the cause of the bad feeling she had started to get recently. Hopefully, she thought, I can find and then be able to return home.

Up on the high wall of Minas Tirith, the ever watchful guards saw the trail of flame as it blazed in a line across the Pelenor Fields. They stared in awe and amazement, for they had never before seen such a thing. And when they saw that it was a great black horse at the head of the line, they were even more dumbfounded. The great steed stopped at the large wooden gate, and the guards called down "State your business!" Their tone betrayed their unease.

"I am Daemira, the Black Wizard," Daemira called up. "I have business with King Aragorn."

"And I am Fronod and i am with her" said Fronod catching his breath for some reason he felt like he just ran

There was a muttering amongst the guards for a moment. They eyed the two travellers suspiciously, and made strange guestures with their hands towards Daemira's staff. After a while, however, the arrival of a small boy made the guards obviously change their minds and the gate swung open with a groan.

"Yes," one of the guards called down, "apparently the King has been expecting you. Proceed inside the city."

"I thank you," Daemira said, and urged Pyro forward through the great wooden doors.

The great black steed clomped up the widing streets, through the crowds of commoners and merchants going about their daily routines. Many seemed to start at the sight of the firemare, but quickly turned back to their business. Up and up the wizard and human went, until at last they passed through the gates that lead to the citadel. Daemira dismounted, and offered Pyro's reigns to a guard whom approached her. She whispered some elvish words to Pyro, who shook her head in response.

"This human is my comrade," she told the guard, while gesturing to Fronod.

"As you wish, My Lady," the guard responded. "King Aragorn awaits you in the throne room."

"Thank you," Daemira said, and strode towards the great wooden doors.

As she walked toward the doors, a figure came barreling down the hall... THUD*, oww, hey, watch where you're goi... oh, excuse me My Lady, my deepest apologies. You are miss Daemira I presume? My lord asked me to escort you to the throne room. But I guess you know where it is.

Daemira blinked at the man, slightly surprised that he had missed her. She was, after all, seven feet tall. But she smiled and said "No, forgive me. I should have been watching where I was going. I do know where King Aragorn's throne lies, but I shall not object to an escort. My thanks to you."

She passed through the great doors and waited.

Very well. I am Eothorn, and I have been instructed to escort you where ever you wish to go in the city. The king has been expecting you, and is anxious to hear any news you have. Oh, please forgive me (looks to her human companion) I am Eothorn, and you are?

Daemira did not wait for Eothorn, for just beyond the great wooden doors she saw the vast white marble of King Aragorn's throneroom. And just on the opposite side of that room sat the king on his tall magestic throne. His queen Arwen sat on the lower throne to his left, and the two seemed engaged in conversation. Daemira strode past the doors and through the great echoing expanse.

"Hail King Aragorn, son of Arathorn, Lord of Gondor," she said, bowing upon reaching ten feet of the thrones.
"And Queen Arwen of Rivendell. I, Daemira the Black Wizard, bring news from the Valar themselves."

Eothorn, approached, and stopped a few feet behind Daemira. Upon the king acknowledging him, he asked, "do you have any further orders my lord?"

King Aragorn looked up to the newly arrived and gave them a kind smile.

"Vedui, Daemira. And to you as well, Eothorn. I see you've done well in escorting our friend here." He gave a nod to Eothorn. "I have nothing further for you at the moment, but do please remain in my throne room. I shall have need of you soon enough."

Aragorn rose from his throne and descended the steps, affectionately touching the hand of his queen as he passed her.

"What news do you bring me, my friend?" he said to Daemira.

The tall woman did not like to waste too much time on pleasantries, and was very thankful that the king asked directly of the matter at hand.

"The Dark One, Morgoth...he moves to return to Middle Earth. The chains placed upon him by the Valar have weakened, and his influence already works its way throughout the lands. He will waste no time as Sauron did. He will come with a great host and his strike will be hard and swift."

Aragorn's eyes hardened slightly at this.
"And you are sure of this?"

Daemira met his gaze equally.
"I do, my Lord. I do because I have seen it." She then added something tensely spoken in elvish.

Aragorn's face froze. "Then I believe you, Voronwer. How shall we prepare?"

"That, my lord, is something only you can decide," Daemira said. "But I am permitted to assist in any way I can."

Aragorn smiled. "Permitted at last?"

Daemira smiled also. "Yes. At last."

The two then proceeded to discuss much about the upcoming threat. Many hours passed before company was parted and Eothorn was instructed to show Daemira to a room where she could stay.

I hope the accommodations are suitable. I have again been trusted with the honer of providing what ever you wish for here. I have duty tonight and will be stationed just down the hall. If you are in need of anything, don't hesitate to ask, and it will be done. My lord seems to be quite fond of you, *I can see why* he said, trying to cover with a cough. So, can I get you anything, or assist you in any way, before I take my station?

Daemira smiled. "I am fine, thank you Eothorn. Shall I need your assistance, I won't hesitate to call. And do not mistake King Aragorn's 'fondness'. We were both exiles, and found a friendship in our misplacement."

My apologies if I was out of line. The king will have a meal prepared for you in the morning. Good night ma' lady.
