EDIT: What kind of art classes are you taking neller?

I'm majoring in Graphic Design. We call it Communication Design. I'm going to concentrate in illustration. My dream job is to be an illustrator. A poor man's job, but it's what I want to be. :D

Good luck on that one Neller. You're right though...it'll be a tough route to go.

I eventually ended up leaving college a second time without a degree. Great grades, just been kinda busy with work now and not really have the ability to do both yet. Maybe once I can drive again. Mom says she's going to take me to do my driving test for my birthday next year.

I haven't gotten a job yet. I want to find a job to have during the summer. I've been getting through school on grants and loans. It's a sucky way to go by. But it's what I have to do for now. Hopefully a summer job will fix that and it'll just be grants.

@neller: Illustrator? All I could think of when I read that was comics/web comics :sweat: But an illustrator of what, may I ask? :)

@Izumi: Beware of the winding road/slippery when wet sign. I swear, I failed my test twice because of it O_o

I would be a free lance illustrator, at least. Just doing random jobs for whoever wants me to do something for them. I would love to be hired by a company, though. Magazines need illustrators to do spot illustrations (the small pictures in paragraphs and stuff) and publication companies need illustrators for book covers. There's many more things I could do with illustration.

I wouldn't say I'm the most amazing artist ever, but I did take pride in my work and then I got here and saw what everyone else was doing and can't help but think: "These are the people I'm competing with plus -shot-"

I have zero artistic talent. I admire you talented people so much. :love:

When I was taking my art class in my senior year of high school, my teacher said that people who don't draw gawk at someone who does like it's magic. Lol. But honestly, anyone can draw. It's really just a matter of exercising the brain correctly. :)

I fell in love with Kappas during one of the Harvest Moon games. The Kappa was actually a marriageable bachelor. He was very aloof and wouldn't move in with you after you married him. You still had to go to his special lake and give him cucumbers. If you did that enough then he would show up at your house and say "You... pregnant." :rofl: It was so weird it made me research Kappa legends and I've loved them ever since.
