@Sestina: With me, I first get really angry and shout at people, and when the fight is over I retreat into a private place and cry there.

I find that I cry most when I feel that I have lost something or am about to. Like, I knew that my best friend was going to move to a different school for two years before it happened, and I basically broke down in the middle of school a few months before it happened, mostly because I overheard him and another good friend of mine talking about the possibility of the other friend moving to the same school as well.

When I'm afraid of something, I just have this huge urge to stop moving and run away.

Once I was out camping, and the toilet was pretty far away from camp, and there was nothing around it. It was all dark and you had to it with a torch, or otherwise you couldn't see anything. Once when walking up to it, in the middle of the night, I was pretty certain I heard something in the bushes, so I just ran away back to camp Later I did have to retake the journey, because human body processes, and somehow I'm still alive.

Camping adventures generally strike terror in me even during broad daylight, in a field, with no trees around. Hiking I can do, but I saw too may cheesy horror movies in the 70s involving camping.

Last camping I've ever been into, I was wandering around the woods a little farther away from camp when I saw these big a$$ colorful spiders just hanging around on their web above me. So I quickly turned to run away only to walk right through a cobweb. People probably thought I was crazy running back to the camp screaming my lungs off and my hands trying to touch every part of my body to remove any cobwebs and spider.

I've had great camping adventures. Camping with Girl Scouts in John Muir park - plenty of redwoods and banana slugs. Much less creepy than family adventures.

We have a tent.. somewhere. I think everyone would like to go camping, but the actual camping part - lack of "facilities" including, but not limited to, TV, air conditioning, etc., generally turns the kids off thinking about it. Hubster is very interested in primitive camping. I have other ideas usually involving a camper or cabin. They both begin with "c" so I don't see a problem.

Yeah. Hubster is not thrilled that I'm not into outdoor adventures. If you had to go camping, what would you do or where would you go? I'm not talking about a zombiepocalypse kind of thing - where it would be necessary - but for fun?

I would like to go camping again, even after what I've experienced the last time, I still do. It's just nice to be surrounded with nature once in a while and not feel the thrum or whatchamacallit of the electricity in the air around you. Yes, I'm sure I wouldn't like it at first but in the end, I'll miss it and would recall the camping days with nostalgia.
Besides, those type of camping trips will help you better prepare yourself for the zombie apocalypse.
