Making both their way over toward Umi and noticing how he had turned around only to end up speaking over toward the other girl that Taiyo had introduced rather than even saying a single word to his brother in-law at all. Within his own head, he had given a small little pouty tone but soon enough came to a laugh and shrugged off the thought. Umi was probably still a bit upset with everything and a bit annoyed with hearing his own brother in-law try to convince him out of bringing the water back to the mortal world for the humans. Hearing all of a sudden from him that he had already known the girl's name was 'Kaori' and that it had been a long time since they had met before; Taiyo's own eyes widened up for a moment as he looked over toward the female for a moment before taking his attention right back over toward Umi. How they had known each other a long time ago was kind of a curious thing he was wondering deep down, but he didn't bother to let him drag him down to wonder too long before Taiyo had noticed how Umi was making his way back to the sea as though he were going back home. Seeing that, the last thing he was expecting was from Kaori to call out to him and tell him to wait only to end up thanking him for helping the animals and wondering if Umi would like to chat with the two of them. Taiyo had already known for a fact that Umi wasn't really one to speak alot ever since the death of his lover; so expecting him to agree with that was almost an impossibility as he saw how Kaori looked back over toward him as though she was asking for help. Giving a little smile toward her as though he were telling her what he could do, Taiyo just guessed and tried to help at least a bit. "Hey Umi..I know you probably want to go back now. But why not hang around a bit?...you know. Just in case something bad happens to Yue?...don't you want to be there to protect her?" he stated with a little smile across his face before shrugging his shoulders at the thought, Taiyo was completely unaware of what to say as he let out a small gasp when Umi actually agreed to stay and chat for a bit. That was new.

Umi looked at his brother in law. He had realized that he sort of blew him off. Quickly to salvage the situation, he turned to his brother in law. "Im sorry Taiyo." In one fell swoop, he gave him a large hug, turning into his human form in order to make it look like two human brothers hugging each other. He quickly released his brother before making it awkward. "I will stay to protect her, but only to protect her." The subject of Yue had come up. He knew it was going to, but when it did, his heart was wrenching. Just to keep himself sane, he decided to add something to it. "It will be her choice whether the water comes back or not."

Kaori looked between the two. This all was getting out of hand fast. "Why dont we just go for a walk. You know. Clear our heads a bit." With no moon, there really wasn't any light, except what was coming from the village. "It could be good you know. Talking about something else, or even updating you on what's going on."

James had held Yue close to him, welding her to his chest, he didn't like it when she had such a lost look on her face. Almost distressed, he didn't want anything like that from her. Their situation was still fresh to him, the water spirit wanted her, she had supposedly been the reincarnation of his late wife. James placed little kisses on the top of her head and whispered little sweet things in her ear when his mouth got close. Making small, soothing circles in Yue's back, trying to comfort her. He had heard the cat meow.

"Something the matter little one?" James had looked up from burying his face in the sweet smell of Yue's hair. He was still trying to comfort her while wondering why the feline was meowing so urgently. Is there something wrong? Did the feline want food? Did the feline want attention? James stood there, continuing to make small circles in Yue's back, all the while being confused. James shook his head a little, making a little sound. He began to lead Yue to the chair that was in the living room, after sitting her down he went back into the kitchen and picked up the feline. "What is it little one?"

Yue seem to calm down as she felt her husband's warmth and a smile appeared on her face. All the problems that was in her seem to disappear. She then heard the cat meow as if it were important or something was outside. She watched as James let her go and walk to the cat and picked him up. She stayed in the living room and gasped lightly as she felt herself stand up and walk outside as if possessed. Her eyes turned honey brown as her bangs swayed side to side from her face. She looked at sky and breathed hard as she opened her mouth and howled at the sky as he slowly started to turn in a beautiful blue and white wolf with large white wings. Her eyes turned light blue as she flew in the sky and starts circling the sky as a bright light escaped the center of the circle. When Yue was finished the circle then glowed and turned to the moon as she flew away and was happy that she could see what was happening around her. But she frowned as she saw barren wastelands and humans struggling to survive, she landed on a small boulder and howled a loud and elegant howl as the moon glowed a little bright, as if it were a sign the Moon Spirit was back and would try to help the humans as best she could.

Hearing his brother in-law, Umi turn his attention back toward Taiyo only to end up apologizing for accidentally ignoring his own brother. He simply just returned the hug that he had given him as what seemed like an apology, Taiyo himself wasn't exactly bisexual at all but they were brothers pretty much so hugging each other wasn't really anything uncomfortable for him to do at all. It was just another way to show compassion for brothers was all. So when Umi had released the hug in what seemed like an awkward fashion it only caused him to tilt his head in curiosity of why he was acting as though the hug was something really bad. Although shrugging off the thought and nodding with a small smile when he had heard that his brother would stay to protect Yue since she was the reincarnation of his past lover; Tsuki. Only to end up saying that it would be her choice whether she decided to go with him one day back to the Ocean to become the Moon spirit once more. Hearing that kind of caused Taiyo's own eyes to widen up slightly just to hear how his brother easily admitted that. Soon enough when the female spirit standing beside them both spoke up saying that they should go for a walk, he immediately turned his attention over toward her and nodded slightly. "Indeed Umi. C'mon..standing here and chatting would be rather boring. Lets see how the other humans are doing--" Right as he finished his statement, the last thing Taiyo was expecting was when he heard a loud howl come from the direction where Yue was at. His eyes quickly flung right open as he looked over toward the direction he had heard it from only to see a large wolf bolt into the sky circling one area to end up creating the moon. Seeing that was rather shocking as Taiyo turned his eyes right back over toward Umi to wonder how he would react to seeing that. Especially, since his past lover was the Moon spirit.

It wasn't hard for Mason to realize that his simple urgent meowing wasn't exactly gaining the reaction he had hoped for, but then again he was currently a cat and it wasn't as if humans could fully understand the language of cats. 'Alright Mason...think...think...thing...gah I can only think of the word think' he thought to himself with a mental frustrated sigh. As the human male went to seat his wife in another room he thought for a moment that perhaps the human did understand, although soon that thought was proven somewhat false as he returned and picked the cat formed death spirit up and asked what was wrong.

Mason wasn't exactly sure how speaking directly to the human would turn out, after all he was still uncertain by the human's disposition towards spirits. He knew there were some humans that accepted and still welcomed them, while there were others that despised them entirely. This uncertainty caused him to simply let loose another urgent meow as he wiggled a bit and tried pawing at the air in the direction he wished the human to go. There was another being in the yard, and to say the cat wasn't at least a bit curious as to why would have proven the statement of curiosity and the cat, though excluding the killing part due to who he was.

Just then the fur on the back of his neck prickled as his ears first caught movement where Yue had been placed followed shortly by a howl. 'Uh oh...' the death spirit thought, feeling as if the previously distraught human had been left alone a little too long. He knew there was a good chance that at the moment she was in a sort of fragile state, due to the possible stress that the flashing memories of her past life could give, though to be honest he wasn't entirely sure. Hearing the sound of wings flapping outside and seeing a glow slowly peer in from the windows that looked like moonlight, caused Mason to once more meow urgently and wiggle though the cause was now a bit different. What if Umi saw and decided to suddenly take the reincarnation away without her deciding herself?

A white doe was wondering the forest as it raised it's head to the howl of the winged wolf. It looked to the sky and started to run towards the howl with grace and elegance. The doe ran towards the sound as new grass grew where her feet met the ground. She made it to a clearing and looked up at the winged wolf and wondered if she would remember her. Her blue and green eyes looked at the wolf wth a smile before bowing to the flying animal.

As she bowed, the ground began to grow flowers as the doe started to transform into a blonde haired woman with the same blue and green eyes that had watched the winged wolf fly in the sky. "Welcome back, Yue." She said in a tone that was as soft as a new patch of grass. The elf looking human stood there near the new flower patch she created for the winged wolf. "I have missed the moon." Her hands rested on a tree that seemed to grow stronger as she touched it.

Umi was listening to Taiyo until a howl came to his ears. Its sweet purity rang through his mind. Something familiar that jolted his brain into total serenity. He closed his eyes and once more went into the memory of his lover and himself at the lake, happy and serene. He turned his body towards the sound and opened his eyes once more to see the circle in the sky appear that would become the moon once more. The light in the middle shined so bright in his mind and then once more the circle was filled with light as it finished. Yue's masterpiece of creating the moon brought tears to the spirits eyes. His breathing started to shorten. There in the sky was the wolf form of the woman he was forcing to make a choice. She had done good giving the people light for the night, but she still needed to choose. He was usually a calm spirit and kind spirit, but just knowing that she was with a human made him very angry. The humans are who killed her. That wasnt going to change his mind about them. Knowing that she would be safe with him would give him peace and help him to forgive the humans.

Kaori smiled at the moon and grabbed the ocean spirits arm. "Lets go. Come on." She pulled on him to lead him to walking. It was hard to watch a big angry spirit like him cry. He came willingly with him as she motioned for Taiyo to follow them.

Yue sat on the boulder as she watched the moon in the sky and the humans coming outside to see the new moon that hasn't been seen for more than 10,000 years. Yue suddenly jumped and seen an elf-like woman behind her, she blinked as her eyes turned black and she looked around panicking a little. She seen the woman smiling happily and she seem to know her name, "I-I-I don't think I know you miss. But I must say you look very pretty." Yue said softly as she jumped from the boulder and seen the flowers that the woman seem to create. "The flowers smell lovely and so beautiful, thank you." she said softly and smiled softly as she gently placed her snout close to the flower patch and smelled the sweet fragrance of the lovely flowers.

She smiled and nodded her head as her eyes went to the wolf. "That's alright. I know who you are, or who you used to be." The elf bowed her head as she stood there. "Thank you, my dear. A friend of mine used to love these flowers." Her blue and green eyes went to the flowers as she picked one and placed it at the wolf's feet. More flowers growing as she stepped closer to the wolf. "May mother Earth and the Lady of the Moon, bless you, my dear."

The woman looked to the dry lake that had once housed her animal friends. She sighed and closed her eyes as her hands came together. "May the ocean calm his temper soon and give the humans water." Her eyes went to the sky as she bathed in the moonlight the wolf had provided.

Standing there the entire time watching Umi stare up toward the sky which now held the moon along with the howl of the Moon Spirit's animal form. Taiyo's thoughts at the time were all focused on wondering if he brother in-law would be able to sustain his emotions in so far that he wouldn't go chasing after her so quickly without even thinking for a minute if she'd even remember him at all. Although seeing how he didn't run after her immediately at all but rather just stood there with a few tears coming out; Taiyo's eyes widened up when he had seen how his brother in-law was actually having a few tears coming out as though he were crying. It wasn't exactly shocking to him since he was hearing a familiar howl that sounded almost like his passed lover who is now dead. A small frown came across his face as he reached over to Umi and placed a single hand onto his shoulder just to tell him he wasn't alone even if his lover was gone. Soon enough seeing how Umi had gotten his hand held by the other female spirit only to pull him away and tell him to 'come on' along with signaling Taiyo to come along with them. He just stayed silent as he followed the two of them.

James had looked outside in awe. His wife was now a wolf. A spirit one. "W-what's going on? Did she...?" James stuttered as he slowly walked outside the door and watched her. She was beautiful. She was his wife and he had thought all hope was abandoning him. "Yue?..." He walked towards where she was settled on the boulder. "Yue?" He held his hand out, letting it guide him to her, the white and blue of her fur glowing in the moonlight.

Yue looked at the woman as a softly smile appeared on her face. she then tilted her head when the woman said that she knew her in a past life, Yue really didn't understand that part but he understood when said that she hope to calm the Ocean Spirit's rage. She shook slightly trying to not think about the Ocean Spirit, she would heard stories about him and about how scary he was, she then looked at the moon. "I-It's odd for me to say this but I know how he feels. He lost the person he loved the most and all he wants is to have her back, I bet she was really pretty when the two spirits met." Yue said giggling until she heard a voice coming up behind her, she turned her head and it was James, "Ja-James, wh-what are you doing here?" she asked walking to him slowly and gently touched his hand with her snout, "Di-Did you follow me all the way here?" Yue asked gently licking his hand.

A rather startled meow came from Mason as the grip on him loosed from the lost of one of the human male's hands, and even more so when his wiggling caused him to fall. It was at times like that however that he was glad that his animal form was a cat as he landed on his feet when he hit the ground. The black cat Death spirit shook his head, fluffing out some of his fur in the process. His light colored eyes came to slowly rest upon the wolf spirit as a sort of animal-like instincts of fear. Of course he simply attributed it to cats naturally fearing dog related creatures. For a moment his gaze shifted towards the human male as he stretched out a hand to the wolf formed moon spirit that was the human's wife, though his ears twitched at Yue's words. He frowned for a moment wondering if perhaps he should say something, though as he mentally debated he suddenly remembered the original reason he had tried to convince the human to leave the house.

Now that the cat male was freed he cautiously glanced around, searching for the source of the footsteps he had previously heard. A human female soon entered his gaze, and after taking one last glance back, began to carefully make his way towards her, meowing to announce his presence.

Umi was saddened by the memories that flowed into his mind. Her howling had brought out something that seemed to just give him chills. He sent a quick glance Taiyo's way before forcing Kaori to release him. The glance was one that said he was going to find the moon spirit again. He jumped into the air, his animal form of a pegasus burst from what seemed like water in the air, but none fell to the ground. He flew over the city until he could find the girl. Her wolf form was so beautiful. He had to stop a second as he saw her sitting on the rock next to a couple people. He went straight to the ground near them and pawed the ground a couple times before bowing his head with that leg outstretched towards the wolf. When formality was finished he looked down at the cat that happened to be there. Death. Of course. He looked at the people around them and then at Yu. So you have come into your spiritual self. I am Umi and you are Yu, if i am not mistaken. His mouth did not move when he spoke but everyone in the area would be able to hear him. It took him so much will not to choke on the words he spoke. It is good to see you again, Mason. He said looking at the cat, not caring if Mason was trying to keep in secret. If i may. He said glancing at the human male. A scowl came upon his horse face, but he couldnt help that. May i steal your..... wife..... for a minute or two?

Kaori didnt really know what had just happened. Umi sort of just yanked his arm from her and flew off, turning into his animal form. "Where is he going? I thought we just got him away from his home." She said thinking he was going to go back to his solitude once more. She sort of pouted as she looked over at Taiyo. "Should we chase after him?"

Noticing how Umi seemed to had looked rather saddened, Taiyo simply kept his arms crossed staring toward his brother in-law on wondering what his plan of action was going to be at this point. His own hopes were that he'd remain calm and not go stir crazy over this new reincarnation of Tsuki to the point that he'd be begging too much on is knees to get her to be wit him; and if she refused he'd make life worse on everyone on the planet. Even Taiyo would have to step in and deal with his own brother if that were the case. Suddenly when Umi had turned around only to glance toward Taiyo for a moment and force his arm away from the young girl named Kaori; his own eyes widened up in shock to notice the glance in his own eyes and what he wanted to do. Just seeing that had caused a sigh of annoyance to escape his lips as he shook his head lightly before looking toward the ground. He seemed to want to meet up with the moon spirit once again but just in hopes; Taiyo wished that his brother wouldn't force her to pick to be with him. Turning his own attention over toward Kaori when she spoke up completely confused about what had just happened, Taioy simply shook his head a bit before looking up toward the sky where the moon now shined. "He is still away from his throne. Hes going to see the moon spirit..come if you'd like. I must go with him to see if he does anything too stupid." he stated before bolting up into the air with a large burst of flames as he flew straight over toward where his brother flew off to; only to be perched on top of a large boulder in his own phoenix form while watching the events play out between his brother, the moon spirit, Yue's husband and it seemed like..Death.
