I thought it was a bit odd that they planned events just a few days apart. O___o;;
I like the staff events, but I usually just ignore the user run events. I don't participate in the games and I don't really venture into the event forums, so they're pretty useless for me. I just like the items. x3

But I have to,

If you're talking about the Mene~Summer Night's Dream event and the Celes Paradi event, Fabby, we didn't plan them together. They were not associated in any way, Blondheart didn't know the original dates to the Celes Paradi when she posted her event dates.

i like earning the commons and the rare events! But often find myself in a habit of being on my toes after the events, like the event is still going on O_O it's rather odd.

Ah, is it the after-event hype? xD
I sometime feel that too if I had too much fun during the events.

There's usually quite a while between events
well, thats what I've found anyway...
Maybe I'm wrong?

I love all kinds of events.
I've never participated in a user-run event, so I can't judge or anything.
I've seen the work that goes into it and the effort behind it all.
Mad Respect for anyone who is willing to take the time to put those together.
Like many people, I like the staff-run events because yes, it's the chance to new commons.
There is however one thing I dislike about them, like now, a lot of the people on, are never here.
They're on now because something major is happening, otherwise, they don't even bother to show.
Again, that's not everyone, but it's a good chunk, and it gets to me a bit.
I just hate to see such lack of faith in so nice a community.
Granted people go on hiatus or just don't have time, I'm not talking about them necessarily.
Still, events are great, but what's even cooler I think, is the challenge I get after them, to stay active and post a lot.
Last event, I was still relatively new here and didn't know many people.
So it was hard for me - jumping around in random event threads.
But I earned my way very well with the event currency and was able to get all the commons and event items I wanted.

I like all events to tell ya the truth. I don't really partake in the user run ones that much, but that's because I'm rarely on when they are or don't have anything to contribute to the contests. Only time I don't like events are if they are going on at the same time as some other event on other sites, or if I am really busy and can't make it.

I am an event junkie. I like to participate in contests yet I never have the courage to post in users threads....
I'm suck a lurker....but this event is hopefully breaking that habit, what with having to gain stars and all.

I agree, there was no Easter/St. Patricks Events on here OR Gaia. It was a bit disappointing. ]:

I like official, regular holiday events. I dont really like the holiday events that Menewsha creates, but i still take part in them :).
And i dont really prefer user run events either, they just seem boring to me :(

I like all events :D
I prefer staff run events because of the commons and event rares, but also the little backstories that are given with them. I especially like the emphasis on original events here, it makes menewsha feel a little more unique. Like, it's giving it a different world feeling from other sites.
Admittedly i didn't participate in the last event (because i was busy with rl things) but i did participate in the summer pool-party one and i really enjoyed it. I am shy with joining user-run threads though so that's what holds me back in these events ^^;

To me it varies on the event and what the theme is. I do think events should be spread more apart. Once a month for a user event should maybe be every other month perhaps? Have a Mene event then a user event then Mene event... kind of alternate, that would be cool.
I also like the original themed ones instead of holidays. Holiday ones are alright but people from all over the world have more in common with the original times.

Like you I'm a event addict.
Any and all I like! I'm makes me feel apart of Mene. Like everyone is up to the same thing at the same time.
I adore the made up Mene events! VERY exciting. :3

I like the user-run events, as they're fun (not that you can tell given my activity in them), but I really do enjoy the new commons that tend to be mass-released with the events.
I like the traditional and international holidays--but if only for the uniqueness, I like Mene's original ones better. (They're both very fun, though.)

Personally...I can't say I like how many users now are suddenly popping up and finding some reason to create another new user run event. Which makes me happy that I wasn't around to go through with the one I had in mind. Because I realize how irritating it's starting to become. Sure, a user run event here and there...mmk. But it seems they're happening to frequently now. :| I'll be honest, I can't say I enjoy them as much as actual events.

I wasn't around much for MeneSummer, but then things have been super crazy. I do like both type of events, because it shows people are trying to keep the community buzzing, and I think they're being inspired by the fact that we do have unique holidays, which I think are a great idea. I mean how many variations on a clover, a santa hat or an exploding easter egg can you see before you just get tired of it?I also like the original events because they are unique to the site, because it helps create a sort of fantasy air.

I've not experienced a user run event,so I cant say one way or other really. It just appears it would be harder for shy people to participate-ask for art, etc.
I actually like the events where like a orchid, etc pops up somewhere to be clicked.(no floaties please! lol)
Just from my experience, and I admit its hardly fair,I prefer official events.Least for the moment.

I'm kind of getting tired of all the events.
The first event I ever participated in was the Summer Carnival,
and I've been on for every one since.
They're just getting kind of redundant now.
Like, you see minor differences with every event,
but overall it's just the same.
And they're happening so frequently now it's
no longer refreshing to see them when they come around.
Maybe I just need avoid them for a while. xD
