The last books I got were-

Necrophenia - Robert Rankin

and

Pieces of Eight - John Drake

I read a little bit of Necrophenia , but then I got Pieces of Eight and was quick to start reading it as it's the sequel to Flint & Silver , which was a phenominal book. So, I'm currently reading Pieces of Eight and am enjoying it muchly, it's a good sequel and I love Long John Silver... Right now Long John and his crew are all bored, waiting on a hot beach, wearing a variety of comical hats made from palm leaves

The last books I bought was the whole Chronicles of the kings series.
Gods and Kings.
Song of redemption.
The Strength of His Hand.
Faith of my Fathers
Amoung the Gods.
All of them by Lynn Austin.
I loved the series
It has a lot to do with religon and had me addicted to it I must have read the whole series 10 times by now.
The story starts off in the first book talking Prince Hezekiah and his father sacraficeing his brother brother to the war god Moloch and it goes on from there about Hezekiah his family and friends and their descendants and their fight to revive the belief in one god Yaweh in their Kingdom.
(sorry if the summary and grammer are bad)

The last book I bought from an actual bookstore was volume 23 of Negima. I usually only buy graphic novels when I go to the bookstore, as the price of any novel there is highway robbery. >_<;. I've seen them charge $14 for a novel that's maybe 250 pages. It's awful. :(.
Instead, I buy any novel that looks interesting from the Goodwill store. :). The last time I visited, I ended up buying Alien Nine volumes 2-3, Aria volume 1, To Heart volume 1(to swap. XD. I hated it- but who's to say everyone else will?), More Starlight to your heart volumes 1 and 2, The Elf Queen of Shannara by Terry Brooks, Dracula by Bram Stoker, Ruby Holler and The Wanderer by Sharon Creech, Catherine, Called Birdy by Karen Cushman, and A Caress of Twilight by Laurell K. Hamilton.

I believe they were Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg, P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells, Holes by Louis Sachar, and Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. Though, I didn't really buy them. I got them at a book exchange store, where you trade in books and get money credits towards other books.

so i have to admit that i am an addict when it comes to buying books... i can't leave a 'borders' without buying a book of some sort... and this last trip i made was certainly no different...

i bought...
fullmetal alchemist (volume 20) by hiromu arakawa - haven't started it yet
the good guy by dean koontz - haven't started this one yet either
alanna: the first adventure by tamora pierce - nor this one
blue bloods by melissa de la cruz - just started this one today
wicked lovely by melissa marr - i just finished it... i thought it was alright... it was interesting enough to make me want to read the next book(s) but i wouldn't pay to have them in hard copy... it's the typical tween kinda book that seems to be so popular these days... the whole faery thing is approached in a pretty cool way... i give it 3.5 stars out of 5

The last book I bought, not counting textbooks, was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Back on the day it was released. Yeah, I volunteer in a really good library so I constantly have hundreds of good books at my fingertips and I almost never end up buying them.

The last books I've bought were Warriors, The scions of Shannara, and The Stand.

I want to get all the series of Shannara by Terry Brooks. I've already have the first series, The First King of Shannara, The Sword of Shannara, The Elfstones of Shannara, and The Wishsong of Shannara. I'm getting the heretage series now. Even though I've read the first one already, but I want them all for completion.

I've got curious about the Warriors series so I bought the first book. I've always loved the movie the stand, I have been waiting to read the book for a while. Haven't been able to get it until now. :)

I just bought a bunch of comics that I haven't gone through yet. I also bought a hardback version to The Wayfarer Redemption since I have every other book in the series in hard back except for Sinner and the Serpant Bride. Comic-wise I got the Runaways 1&2 (Condensed into one big paper back book each instead of the individual comics) because I really wanted to read those, Green Lantern Showcase (I wanted to read about him among others), X-Men Forever #10, Sonic the Hedgehog, Aria 1&2 (Indiviual comics), Thor (number something...), and a few other X-Men related comics. I spent about $35 on it in all (Which is pretty good, I didn't spend full price on most of them x3) and I can't wait to really get into them. I love comics, they are fun to read in between huge books.

Blkmage: OH! I love the Shannara Trilogy! I haven't read them in a while but they were great reads.
