it will be more so about graphic design, and hopefully people will want to post drawings as well... (: but i don't know how many people are into that type of art.

A lot of people are, though. :3 It's not something I'm particularly skilled in and I suppose by my own "mission statement" it means that I should try to learn more about it. XD; Maybe I'll ask you to write the wording for that sort of challenge. XD

i don't know how many people are into drawing, or more traditional art, since most of the members just focus in digital art like signatures, vector, manipulations... etc.

I've been working on the creative challenge. It's slowly coming along.

Oh, and I've got an idea for a future technical challenge. We could use Posemaniacs. The site offers series of poses in 15-90 sec intervals. We could be challenged to draw a certain number of 30 sec drawings, and 60 sec drawings. Or just a certain number of poses, the site offers untimed references as well.

Oh, and the site says nude references. But they are skinless so there aren't any... inappropriate organs showing. :)

I'm not sure where the poses come from, if they're modeled after actual pictures or if the creator is a bit... creative. :lol:

To make sure I'm understanding the challenge suggestion properly - do you mean drawing a picture of anything in a timed state (ie: "this is my 30 second-long drawing, my 60 second-long drawing, my 10 minute drawing..." etc) or do you mean choosing a few of the different poses offered on the site and having people draw a progression of those?

(The question may be more clear if I look at the site properly, I expect. XD)

I haven't even started on my effort or efforts for this month. XD I have to finish artwork for other people first. :3 But I'll be working on it in June, at least. :3

Actually the site has a pose viewer that actually times them for you. (located on the right side of the home page). There are different times you can choose between for drawing the poses. So a challenge may be "Draw 10 30 sec poses." or something like that.

I'm beginning to like the site even more now that I've found out there is a collection of hand poses. O.O

I'll likely be going for the facial expressions challenge first, as I haven't done that in ages. Or, to be more honest, I have never intentionally set out to do it, though I have challenged other artists to do it before. XD;

...I am not motivated for art yet...

Like I said, I've started my bamboo picture, but I might switch over to the expressions one because it's a bit easier and it'll loosen me up.
