"Sorry, but I've got to go."

Ivy walked away as quickly as possible, still holding her breath until she got out of the hallway. She knew that she had a bigger blood lust than all other vampires, but it was part of the family curse. She suspected that that killing in the school that happened long ago had been her great grandfather, Lord Bitsforgeth. He had been one of the most evil vampires in history until a human witch had put a curse on him and his family.

The curse had been passed through her family to Ivy, the last known member of the Frost family. All of the members of said family had the same curse, a soul, but also a big lust for blood. Therefore, if Ivy gave into her blood lust, she'd be destroyed by the impact that killing would make on her soul.

She walked into the common room and sat on one of the couches. Pulling out the book that she had swiped from her room on the way out, Ivy began to read silently.

(I want to start classes, so I'm changing the scene, that's okay right^^;)

Momo looked at the wall clock and sighed. "Oh, it's late. I'll see you guys in the morning, I don't want to miss classes tomorrow." Momo grabbed a pillow and flung herself backwards as she fell to sleep. A human with no idea of this vampire school secrets and a Vampire lord's daughter, this is gonna be an interesting year.

((That's fine with me)) Beatrice smiled a little, before saying to the human "Watch out for that other one, she was getting a bloodlust up too quickly". After giving the warning, she turned and went into her room, awaiting her roommate.

((Shall I double as a boy? I noticed all the characters are female))

Bloodlust...? What??? I don't understand... Hm... Oh wells. Sleep time

A human had came into the common room, effectively sending Ivy back to her icy room.

After coating all of the furniture with ice as well, she quickly got into her cold bed and went to sleep.

A boy with bleached blonde hair was sat against the wall outside the dorms. He wasn't sure which was his yet. He'd watched the girls in silence. One of them in particular caught his eye, a vampire, her skin and hair both white as snow. He smirked. "This place is making me go soft" he mumbled to himself. He looked out the window, seeing the sun coming up and stretched. Sleeping against a wall wasn't exactly the most comfortable experience, but he'd had a lot worse.

Ivy awoke in a start. She had just had a very bad nightmare about her parents' deaths and was now sweating. The steam released from her skin in her frosty room alerted her that the dream had heated her up. Being a member of the Frost family, she did not do well with hot skin, it made her sick.

After stumbling into her shower, to cool herself down with some nice freezing water, she got ready for her first day of school. Looking in the mirror, Ivy fixed her white hair and washed her pale face that almost matched the color of her skin.

Beatrice yawned and sat up before sheilding her eyes from the sun. The sun couldn't kill her, but it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. She quickly washed and dressed. She noticed that she'd woken up earlier than she usually did. "Oh well" she muttered to herself. When she got into the hallway, she almost broke her neck on a boy with white hair. He was tall and slender, without being skinny. "Excuse me, but could you go somewhere else, where you aren't going to trip everybody up"
"If you didn't hold your head so high, you would have noticed me!" he retorted, giving her a glare. She may have been pretty, but she was full of herself.

Hearing the commotion coming from the hallway, Ivy was too curious not to see what was happening. After all, she was already dressed.

She opened her icy door, which was a little frozen at the corners so she had to apply a decent amount of force. The door flung open with a start and appeared to hit someone behind it.

The scent hit her first, she could tell that it was a human male, but this was her chance to try and conquer her weakness instead of run away. She wouldn't breath of course, just so she could hang in there a bit longer.

"You should be more careful," Ivy advised the human boy as her crimson eyes tried to look anywhere but the pulsing beat in his neck, "Especially when standing outside of others doors."

Knowing that it would be all over if she touched him, she settled for a smile and gulped a little before looking him in the eyes.

"I'm sorry for hitting you," she apologized to him and then looked to the vampire girl that was in the hallway next to him. Good that girl could rescue this human boy if she lost control, she was sure of it.

"My name is Ivy Frost." Ivy smiled at them, but the little amount air she had left in her lungs wouldn't allow her to ask for their names as well. Hopefully they would understand and she could make some friends here.

The boy raised an eyebrow at her "Liam. Just Liam." Beatrice smiled "Beatrice Deadmoon" she said politely with a nod. Liam put his hands in his pockets before walking away, without even a simple 'Goodbye'.
"How rude" Beatrice muttered

(It's a fancy school, so I guess there should be uniforms^^; )

Momo woke up and looked at the clock, noticing how late she was. She splashed herself with water and put on her school uniform. Another human seemed to be in the halls. Oh well, she's still grumpy from waking up, she'll deal with that later. Momo cluthced to her bag she puts her stuff in and walked into a class room. She had art first period, so she could sit in the back of the room and relax for now.

Giving a quick wave to Ivy before grabbing her things from her room and heading towards art class. She happened to get there at the same time as Liam, who pushed in front of her, almost knocking her over. He also sat at the back, a seat away from Momo. Beatrice sat in the second row from the front and waited for the teacher. Liam leaned his chair back against the wall, put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. He didn't plan on being very artistic that lesson.

Ivy smiled at Beatrice and also grabbed her stuff from her room before following her to art. Not wanting to be in the front of the classroom, she went and sat in the farthest possible corner, away from every one else. That human male, Liam, was sitting on the other end of the row she was in, but Ivy was pretty sure that as long as she was by the open window, his scent would not pose too much of a problem.

Liam looked around. Why am I the only male and the only human in here? he thought to himself Oh well, I'd rather be on my own anyway...
Beatrice had got out a pencil and paper and had begun sketching something.

Ivy was excited for art class. She was very good at drawing and painting, but what she excelled at was sculpturing. She could make the most wonderful ice sculptures since she had the ability to manipulate ice. Even though that's what she was best at, Ivy knew that there probably wouldn't be any ice sculpturing in this class.

She put her hand on her desk and when she pulled away, a mini ice dragon was left behind. Ivy smiled a the dragon and started to manipulate it like it was a living ice dragon. She made it roam around her desk before taking off and flying around the room.

Beatrice looked up to see the small dragon. She raised an eyebrow and breifly looked at the others on the back row before carrying on with her sketch.

Ivy was overjoyed by the sight of her ice dragon gliding around the room.

"This is real art," she whispered to herself before she felt someone looking at her. When she looked down, Ivy saw the teacher glaring at her. With a sigh, she made the ice dragon disappear and returned to her sketching.

The teacher gave the students an assignment, but as always, Momo didn't care. Momo took out a notebook and started drawing at random. She really didn't have a concept, she just doodled some random assortment of lines and curves. A new year, a new chance to slack off.

Beatrice listened to the teacher, but only about half of it. She began sketching something that was half-related to what the tacher had been saying.

Ivy didn't like doing assignments for art, she liked it to reflect her feelings. Therefore, she drew something completely different, as she was feeling rebellious.

(ARGH!!! SORRY!!! I've been really busy with my school work and everything! ARGH!!! sorry again)

Alexia woke up... looked around and realised that she had slept in. OMG!!! My first day and already I'm late!!! She quickly got dressed before going into her class. She looked into the classroom and when she was sure the teacher wasn't looking, quickly sneaked into the classroom before going to the back of the classroom to sit down. Phew. The teacher didn't catch me. Sigh... can't believe I slept in... sigh. I wonder if Momo tried to wake me up... and... ARGH!!! Art... I can't draw for my life. sigh...

(Haha, I understand. I was in new york for a week at grandma's apartment with a physcopath on the room above hers, so I had trouble getting on too^^ I have summer homework I never did, and school starts in two weeks... Ugh.... I don't want to read a book about some dead lady...)

Ivy watched the human girl from yesterday walk in and sit in the back row. She was way too close to her and Ivy was beginning to hear her heart beating.

She didn't want to go closer to the humans in the front, so she wouldn't be able to tell their teacher secretly. The pull of the girl's blood was becoming so strong that she didn't care what she did anymore, she would have to get out of the classroom before her instincts took over.

"I'm going to the bathroom," Ivy said to the teacher, over the many heads of students, before walking out of the classroom.

Once she was clear of people seeing her, she ran all the way across the school and stopped to sit down and lean against a wall in a lone hallway. There, she silently cried as she thought of how different she would be if she wasn't cursed. The image of her surrounded by friends, human and vampire alike, was what fueled her tears and wouldn't let them stop.
