I agree with Alchemist of Anarchy. My first game was on the PS1,which was Spyro II,which I got when I was 5 years old. And I finished the game when I was 11. Dang that thing was worth the time!!!:)

My first video game that I have ever played would be Street Fighter.
It was/is such a fun game to play.
Even till this day, I play the game. Well not the original game I am more
hooked on playing Street Fighter Alpha 3.
It pretty much is the same concept as all the other street fighter series games,
so I pretty much feel like I am playing the original.

But since I've played street fighter that first time YEARS AGO,
I have been hooked on it. Hehe.
My father works at a place where they make arcade games, so I grew up
playing many other games.
I even have an arcade in my garage, stored with almost a thousand different games in it.
But above all of those games, Streetfighter is number one on my "Most played" list
and number one on my "Favorites" folder. (With Vampire Savior being my second)

My very first video game was Legend of Mana for PLaystation. It was a very wonderful RPG. I remembered how I was so ambitious to finish all of the mission branches, cried for the characters, smiling at the humour...

It was the one that planted love of video games in my heart!

The first video game I ever got was Kings Field II for the PlayStation. My mom got it for me as a Christmas gift, but when I tried to play it, it scared me so badly I never got past the first area.

Sort of like very time I've ever attempted to play Resident Evil. THE SOUNDS, they terrify me!

Oh god, I don't remember. I played my first video game when I was like three years old O___O It might have been Mario on the Nintendo (as in NES, super old school. haha). I know we've had that game for ever and ever.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the Super Nintendo (I think, where the cartridge goes in the top)

And Super Mario Brothers for the same system.

I honestly can't be too sure. I've been playing video games probably since I was old enough to grab a controller. I remember Sonic and the old school version of Tetris for Gameboy (Hell, I still have the first gameboy), but I'm not sure of my first. I'd have to ask my brother.

For the life of me I can't remember much of the games I played prior to NES titles. I had two different versions of the Atari that were my Dad's & Grandfather's but again cannot remember any of the titles to the games I played. The first game I truly owned myself was the gold cartridge version of the Legend of Zelda. That game gave my father and I some of the most quality time we had together when I was a child. We would stay up for hours upon hours with graph paper mapping out the entire game (quest 1 -AND- 2) and keeping a 'war journal' of sorts of our adventures together. ^_^

My friend let me borrow that game a long time ago, I loved it so much that now I'm actually thinking of buying it through E-bay. My Sega Genesis is still pretty much in mint condition despite it being 15 years old.

My first ever game I played and still loved to this day is: The Lion King for the Sega Genesis. It came with it, when we bought the system...man, me and my brother played it so many times, it never gets old.

I can't tell you the name of it, but I know it was something about Thomas the Tank Engine for the SNES. I didn't like it that much though, I preferred Super Mario World.

First video gaming experience was during Brownies when I got to play Tetris on the NES. I seriously remember feeling anxious and out of my element playing it, and didn't really 'enjoy' it much as I didn't know quite what I was doing.

Later on, for a present for doing so well on my report card, instead of a trip to disney world my parents bought me a NES. So technically the first game I ever owned would of obviously been the Super Mario Bros/Duck hunt combo that came with it. (Man, I miss when you actually were given a game with your new console...)

I use to keep all my retro consoles and at one time I had a NES, SNES, n64, PS1, Original Gameboy, Gameboy Color AND the original GBA. When I moved out of the house, I only brought my GBA with me and my exhusband and I ended up getting a GC, he already had a PS2, and eventually an Xbox360. Since backwards compatibility has been a major selling point with the new consoles, I don't tend to hold onto the older ones...not much point.

I did recently get my hands on a used SNES though and I play that for nostalgias sake. There's nothing like swearing every time I have a stupid death on Donkey Kong Country...That series was great fun, no matter what hubby thinks. :P

Yes, I ended up marrying another video game nut...seems like it's destiny. :XD

My first was Mario Bros. (the one with duck hunt). At least I think it was, I was 4 at the time so I can't actually remember exactly.
