Macey shrugged sleepily, finally removing her long legs from the short table. She stood, stretching, and walked slowly to the sliding screen door that lead into her bedroom. She walked through, briefly stopping though, to pick up a pile of papers resting on her bed. She glanced at them nervously before stuffing them into a bag she grabbed from the chair at her desk. Macey sighed deeply, there hadn't been any news to what her charge would be. All the other girls that she now lived with said they had gotten there's delivered by hand two days after they had shown up at the loft. She brushed the thought off, thinking it would appear when it would. Changing her mind about bringing a jacket, she trailed through the long hallway and out the door into the real world.

She bent down to the girls' height.
"Hun, once you find out who I am, you will LOVE me, not think Im mean."
She laughed and walked away.

Stumped, Felicity stopped and stared after the girl. today is gonna be a werid day... Since Felicity decided to-- scratch that --was distracted from the bus, she had the whole day to herself. Atleast until two o' clock. there was a park nearby, maybe she could hang out there and daydream... Whoa! theres a record! almost a whole morning without thinking of Oliver! Felicity laughed. Then started towards the park.

Aria bowed, her eyes still with an empty look. They always were nowadays. "Aria Delmonte, 'Tis a pleasure to meet you Momo." She said politely, her soft smile fading a bit. She was happy, but she hadn't really met anybody or been around town for a while. 'It's changed so much...hopefully I'll recover.' She thought.

"Well, nice to meet you Aria!" Momo said with a friendly smile. She put the rocks in here hand on the ground and countuined talking. "Skipping rocks is only fun for so long. Wanna sit on that bench by swings and chat a lil?" Momo asked with her arm pointed straight for the bench.

Aria nodded, a soft smile finding it's way onto her face. "Of course." She said. 'I have a friend, a friend that doesn't like me for my money for once...Or at least she won't until I tell her.' She thought. Even though she was smiling her eyes reflected a hint of sadness.

" 'Kay~" Momo said as she ran to the bench. Funny to think that I could meet decent people here Momo thought as she sat on the bench.

Aria walked over to the bench and sat next to Momo, smiling politely. "How has your stay been so far? Surely it's been good." She said. She really couldn't help with the way she talked, her foster parents always talked like that so she sort of picked it up.

JuJu slowed her swinging to a stop as the two girls walked closer to her. Not that she was usually such a busybody, but her ears perked up a bit as she tuned into their conversation...sort of.

Macey stepped out the door into the New York sunshine. The weather had been so bad lately, she thought, I'm really glad its cleared up. She looked both ways, signaling the upcoming driver that she was crossing. Once on the other side, she stuck her hands the pockets of her red coat, grinning, heading to the one place she knew would make her happiest; central park. She loved going there, there was no place like it anywhere else in her city. Plus, the park always seemed to hold a veil of protection over it, as if no evil could penetrate its barriers. But, that was just her interpretation of the park. She walked by many humans, all vaguely unaware of what she was and what her purpose on earth held. Seeing the swings ahead of her, she speed up, excited to be near the many children running around the playground. Macey absolutely loved children, and the feeling went the other way around also. Wherever Macey went, that was also a hot spot for kids, they seemed to flock to her, like she was some kind of magnet. She noticed four other girls, around her age, she thought, one on the swings which Macey was headed to, two on the bench and another a bit further off. They're probably babysitters, Macey thought happily, a smile appearing on her lips. She finally approached an empty swing, one next to the other girl. Macey grinned at her as she sat on the strong rubber and pushed her legs off the ground. "Nice day, isn't it?" she said to the girl, making small talk.

JuJu snapped out of her daydreaming and busybody-ing when she heard an unfamiliar voice. For a second, her mind went blank before she realized the girl who had sat beside her was trying to make small talk. She looked back at the girl, then at the sky saying, "Yes...it is lovely weather today." She started to swing again slightly. "I'm Julia, but you can call me JuJu," she introduced.

Arriving at the park, Felicity noticed there weren't that many people around. Just a couple of girls by the swings. Not wanting to disturb them, she walked over to the water fountain statue that was famous for wishes coming true. Grabbing a penny from her wallet, she wished, and tossed into the water. Please come true...

Macey grinned. "JuJu, I can remember that. I'm Macey. Macey Varten. Pleased to meet you." She held a hand out to JuJu, absentmindedly releasing her hold on the swing and almost falling off. "Oops!" She laughed. Her swinging slowed a bit, and Macey's eyes flashed back and forth between the dirt ground and the blue sky. The sensation of being on a swing always perplexed Macey. It was so much like flying, that she knew. She almost had to bite her tongue to keep her extravagant wings from unfolding from her back.

She smiled and walked away from the girl.
"I will see you later."
She said in confidence.

(ugh, I'm in NY for the weekend. This place SuCkS~!!!)

"Oh, my house it pretty run-down, but the neighborhood seems fine." Momo told her. I really should have stayed away from earth, but I couldn't help it. I just never seem to find something interesting. Momo thought.

"Yeah, nice to meet you to, she said with a grin. "Whoa there!" JuJu exclaimed as Macey almost fell off of her swing. JuJu looked up at the sky, and with a small sigh she stated, "The weather's been pretty crazy lately. It's always good when a sunny day like this comes along, but sometime you wonder how long it's going to last."

Aria thought for a moment. "If you ever need to you're welcome to come and stay at the estate." She said, smiling a bit. 'It'd be good to have company around the mansion once again....' She thought.

Macey nodded in agreement. "Yup, we're pretty fortunate today." It was nice like this, Macey thought happily, She had made a friend that wasn't also an angel. Who would have thunk it? "So," she said looking back at JuJu, "Do you go to school around here?"

"Really? Thanks, that's really kind of you!" Momo said with a gleeful expression. "Sooo... Is there anything else you may want to do today?" Momo asked with a playful grin.

((Heeeeey! I'm really sorry I haven't been active lately! I'll try to kick up my activity a notch. :D ))

JuJu nodded. "Sort of. I just graduated, so when I'm not busy being a frosh, I'm usually working at the restaurant down the street," she said, while pointing in the general direction of her work place. "What about you? Where do you go to school, or whatever?" she asked, tilting her head slightly to the side.

Macey smiled nervously. Although she had lied hundreds of times before to other humans, she felt almost guilty lying to JuJu. But most, if not all, the angels kept up a facade to compensate for their various ages. "Uh, I'm actually home schooled, senior." She bit her lip hesitantly, she had never been a great liar, even when she was human. She swung a bit more, and her blond hair furled angrily around her petite face.

JuJu noticed Macey's slight defensiveness. Well, I won't push her, most people just become more defensive if you do that..., she pondered. "Ah well, senior year is always fun. Do you have any plans for college or whatnot?" she asked, swinging back and forth again.

Macey cringed. College. Geez, that was a word she hadn't heard in a while. She'd have to ask her superiors if she was even allowed to go to college. When she was human it was a dream she had sought after all her life. "Yeah," she murmured casually, swinging her legs a few inches off the ground, "I'd love to go to, everyone in my family has attended it at some point or other." You liar.

(Gosh, I keep forgetting the color! 8D )

JuJu smiled. "I dig it. I'm majoring in English, it's so much fun. I want to teach elementary kids at some point in my life, but who knows where I'll end up. Maybe I'll just work at a daycare or something, that would be fun," she said with a giggle. She suddenly got an idea and stopped swinging. "Hey, since it's such a nice day, wanna go get some ice cream? I'll treat." JuJu flashed a big, cheesy grin and hoped the girl would say yes.

Macey beamed. "I would love to, JuJu." Slowing her swing to a crawl, she gently slipped off and landed silently on her feet. She turned to face her new friend. "So, lead the way?" Macey hadn't had ice cream in a while, she could almost taste the cold sugary goodness in her mouth already.
