Lusalma blinked back at Alak's curious look and smiling slightly leaned in to whisper, "Sorry I didn't help, I thought you would like to spend some more time with another potential friend, you seemed kinda lonely when I first met you...didn't know whether you wanted me to interrupt or not." Having satisfied her curiosity and guilty as to why Alak was looked at her Lusalma straightened up and looked over at Sirena, smiling apoligetically Lusalma stated bluntly, "I hope we didn't interrupt anything, and sorry if I don't seem very helpful right now, I thought you wouldn't like me butting into the visual conversation between you two..." Looking to the side in slight embarrassment Lusalma quieted and wondered yet again about the music....and whether she would be able to politely help sometime in the future, unlike how she must have looked this time.

Alana walked over to them when she saw the drow wave. She smiled at them kindly. Then she saw Geo hurrying to meet her. She looked over at the two a moment.

"Excuse me a moment I have to meet with a friend."

She ran over to Geo and they hugged. She stood up and looked at him a moment.

What did the king say?

Geo grinned You are to meet with him tommarrow. He says he might not find you a job as an assassin but perhaps somthing more fitting.

She rolled her eyes sounded like the king wanted to give her a girly job. She sighed. It didnt matter either way she would get what she wanted a chance to see if her father was truly working for the king.

Ill be there tommarrow. Now if you dont mind I have to make some money.

Alana walked back over to the drow and smiled. "Just an old friend. Now if you come with me I shall show you your room.

{I hope this post is ok. I'm not entirely sure if there's anyone free or anyone at the outer wall area, but hi =3}

Two eyes sparkled as a young woman emerged from her hiding place, like an urchin erupting from the sewers. Her two sparkling orbs were a vibrant pink, like two jewels in the muck that seemed to penetrate the outer wall of Mene. Assassins roamed the streets as well as drunks and other dangerous individuals, yet this young woman didn't seem to fear any of these people as she roamed the streets this dark night. This was her second night in the city, though, and she had gathered the general aura of the place already. For someone who travelled as often as she did, vigilance and a sense of direction were the two things that saved lives, and she was lucky enough to have acquired both these skills.

Her long hair flitted behind her, working like a net as it caught up any twigs or leaves that might have happened by her path. Of course it seemed to have finished catching up filth, and she simply picked out long strands to inspect, hum at angrily and pick at. The rest of her main continued to flow behind her elegantly, the tendrils of hair that plumed from her head seeming almost iridescent, matching her eyes. Of course it helped to have naturally shimmering features when one was poor, as Phee was. She was obviously not the richest of people since her pretty face and clothes were smeared with patches of mud. Even her dark leather sandals were encrusted with the stuff, from the tip of them right to the top of the strands that wrapped around the dark trousers that encased the girl's legs. The trousers were black, and the dark brown leather of her footwear matched it well as it ran all the way to bellow her knee. The bottoms themselves were slightly lose and not as covered in mud, though the white band of material that used to hem them at the bottom was unfortunately brown.

Her top was simple, and so was her bag, both a deep bloody red, tainted with time. It was more of a wrap and her bag was more of a sac, but it all fitted together well enough. Either way clothing was not an issue, work was. She desperately needed business, and she knew she would hopefully soon find someone needing services she could provide. She loitered around outside a Tavern called the Lion's Breath, hoping its clientele would be interested in chatting to her upon their exit. She knew she wouldn't be allowed inside considering how filthy she was.

Alak nodded. "Thank you, Tanit," he replied and committed her name to memory. "It has been a pleasure meeting you."

Lusalma's response, did little to calm Alak's concern. Though he didn't know her very well, she seemed far less vibrant. He could own it all up to fatigue, but it seemed like there was something more pressing on her mind. At her blunt statement, Alak almost blanched, the faint smile upon his lips faltered for a moment in surprise before returning along with a deepening blush.

"Oh...right...yes," he said and rubbed the back of his head at a lost for words. "Forgive me." He did not mean to exclude Lusalma for so long as he stared at the other woman. He hoped he had not offended his red-headed companion in anyway.

Then Alana approached and Alak nodded to her. He watched her speak to a guardsman who looked very worn out. Perhaps he had been running errands for her? Alak did not mean to eavesdrop, but his keen ears thought they picked up the word "king" and "job". So was she really a guard?

Alak's eyes roamed across the square toward a noisy tavern called Lion's Breath. They fell upon a dirtied figure that observed each passerby suspiciously. For just a moment, their eyes met. She looked hungry, far more than the rumbling complaint in Alak's stomach. The loud growl caused his hand to move to his stomach quickly as if to silence it.

"Forgive me for any impudence, but do you suppose we could get something from that tavern first?" he asked Alana, nodding toward the Lion's Breath. "We ran into some trouble earlier and have not been able to eat yet," he explained. He wanted sorely to ask her about the Herb Shop and its strange music, but he figured it could wait until their stomachs were settled.

He turned to Lusalma with a knowing glance. "Perhaps they have some sweet buns as well," he said remembering her favorite food.

Alana smiled and said

"Of course How rude of me. Allow me the honor of buying you guys a meal. Is your friend going to come to?

She pointed to the new girl that he had helped.

"I have plenty of money so that is no object and it would be nice to help you. I have been a horrible hostess as of yet"

She smiled friendly hoping the change of her mood did not make them suspicious. She was so happy because working alongside the king or even in the palace would open room to search for her father.

Sirena bit her bottom lip as she decided what to do. She looked between everyone and decided that it couldn't hurt to help them settle at the inn, she wasn't in any hurry to get back home as it were. She just decided to nod silently to the blue haired woman in response to her question. She was curious to know why the woman seemed extremely happy but decided to stay quiet and observe.

Alak was indeed taken aback by her cheerful attitude, not because he thought it was strange of her, but because up until now, the moods of all had seemed anything but cheerful. A wave of relief washed over him.

"Ah," he said glancing to the new acquaintance that had suddenly been marked as friend to him as well. "Tanit. This is..." Alak caught himself realizing he did not know the woman's name. How foolish of him. He set himself up for embarrassment.

"Miss?" he asked looking at her helplessly.

[insert preliminary introductions]

"We would be honored if you'd join us," he said to Tanit. Already he found himself including Lusalma in his speech. He would have to apologize to her for his forthrightness later.

As Alana insisted to pay for them all, Alak replied in kind, "No please. I could hardly impede upon you kindness. I can pay for my meal." He also wondered what she had meant by "job" earlier with her colleague. Neither appeared to be out of work, but of all things Alak understood looks were quite deceiving.

"Besides, I have a matter to discuss with you," he continued as the made their way to the tavern, feeling more lucid around her cheerful air. "Whilst we toured the town, we happened across a strange shop in the ally to the north and west of here. I believe it said, herbs? Correct Miss Lusalma? It seemed to have a strange atmosphere that has me worried...Perhaps you could ease my concerns," he stated. He didn't know what kind of answer he expected from the woman, but he was sure someone familiar with the streets like she would know of something.

Why Alak was so curious about the shop, he could not explain to himself. And the more he thought about it, the more he was sure he had heard a faint bit of music playing. It was slow and sweet, but intimidating at the same time...like a funeral. Alak suppressed a shudder. Of course, his rational mind chalked all up to a hallucination brought about by hunger and fatigue. He hadn't had a nice warm meal or bed in over two weeks.

The two pink orbs turned to a fiery golden colour as the little tramp saw a group of people come near. She observed them quietly, eyes roaming over each face in turn. She was curious, for sure, but she also wanted to remember the faces that passed her, in case the people she saw might be important in any way, or possible frequent customers. Either way, her memory and curiosity usualy served her pretty well, however she did not like to be noticed. A shiver ran down her spine as the man of the group caught her eye. She didn't flinch or move away. instead she did the usual thing people did when caught starring, her eyes widened and she looked away as if she was embarrassed. She really wasn't, but what other thing could she do to react without seeming suspicious?

A grumble sounded in her stomach as she heard one of them mention the Lion's Breath. She could smell the hot pies now as she clasped her hand to the belted corset over her stomach. The little faded gold buckles tinkled and chimed lightly as she did so, the precious rings on her fingers clinking against them. It seemed a very strange thing for a beggar to have precious rings. If she sold them all she would easily be able to afford a little hut somewhere and some food, but she seemed determined to keep hold of them.

She seemed happy with her choice, jewels over food, and stuck with it. She stood straight, leaning against the wall behind her, her stance seeming very proud despite the much that ruined her clothes. She chanced a look at the group again, deciding to maybe be a little bold. She wanted to offer her business, but she had no idea how. It was hard to describe simply, and there was no sure fire name for it... Item retrieval? That seemed ok... But she was definitely not the kind of character to approach a group, even if they seemed good business. Perhaps she could bump into them when they entered the Inn... Perhaps...

Either way the girl would bide her time, deciding to let her eyes wander over the Tavern in front of her, ears pricked and listening in on the conversation of the group next to her.

Lusalma noticeably perked up at the mention of sweet buns. Metaphorically brushing the niggling reminder of the song out of her head she smiled and bounced slightly on her toes as they approached the Lion's Tavern. Having heard the grumble of Alak's stomach and the slight argument between Alak and Alana of who would pay for dinner, Lusalma rolled her eyes and mentally calculated how much each person could eat, took the silver from her drawstring and deftly slipped it up her sleeve, intending not to give either of the good people around her the chance to steal a possibility of kind from her towards them. Glancing at Alak as he included them in his speech Lusalma grinned happily and wondered when exactly he would admit that he thought of them as friends...putting a warm, fuzzy feeling in her chest at the thought of a group of friends. Looking at Tanit from the corner of her eye Lusalma slowed down slightly and coming abreast with her asked in a slight whisper, not wanting to interuppt any conversations ahead, "So how do you think of Mene? Tell me if I'm being rude but I am very curious. I lived in lots of different cultures and so far Mene seems really nice, I think I might actually settle here for a little while so I was wondering if there was any advice you would think some newcomers needed to know to better settle? Also I hope that we can talk more, it's always nice having a new friend!" Smiling in hopeful anticipation at Tanit, hoping she could answer affirmatively, Lusalma was vaguely aware of a gaze almost burning into them, from the direction of Lion's Tavern....

Sirena had been lost in thought, thinking about the list of duties she'll have when she got back to the Lord she served, when Lusalma's voice brought her back to focus. She had been pretty quiet but that's just how she was with strangers. She smiled politely and answered. "Oh well I agree Mene is a good place to live, people are a little more excepting of others than most places. As for settling depending where you settle will depend on what land you choose to buy or rent. A lot of it is somewhat pricey so most just live in inns or closer to the woods. And I hope we can talk more as well." She gave her a sweet smile and found it interesting how rapidly Lusalma's mood changed.

Sirena could feel the eyes of another on the group and subtly looked over to see a beggar girl. She had seen that girl on more than one occasion through the streets and behind alleys so she just returned her focus back to the group.

Alana smiled at his stammer forher name.

"I am Alana." She said nonchelantly.
"Alana Vartos. Its Alana and not Lana or Lane or Alan. Alana" SHe said fiercly.

She headed to the cavern. She smiled at him a moment "I do wish you would allow me to pay. But if you insist go ahead I shall let you pay." SHe opened the door to the inn to let them in before herself.

Smiling at Tanit for her smile and words Lusalma saw that Alana had yielded to Alaks demands that he pay. Puffing her cheeks out slightly at the idea that she wouldn't pay Lusalma walked slightly further and than turning asked Tanit curiously, "Well, I came here to work as a Healer, technical term is PN or a Practitioner Nurse, from Evony and I thought I could work here and if I work here I'm probably going to live here too, so I know that the Silver Square is where the Healers Guild is so where do you think I should set up my home, I thought I could help those neighbors around me if they ever need it! Also where do you think is the most advantageous neighborhood for someone new? Sorry if I am talking too much but I thought you might know more about the civilian side of Mene than others..." Glancing shyly away Lusalma noticed that they were almost at the door, catching the eye of a nearby stable boy Lusalma tilted her head in the direction of the group and flashing a little light of coin smiled. The stable boy smiled and acknowledging the message scampered slightly ahead of the group to prepare tables and warn the owners that a group was coming.

"Alana...of course," he said innocently wondering what brought about her ferocity. "I wouldn't dare call you anything otherwise Miss Alana," he said gently, his two toned eyes fell upon her softly to show his sincerity.

Alak was slightly bewildered by the beggar's shy glance toward him. She must have been hungry as well but too shy to ask directly. Alak was sure he could cover her as well for food. He made it a habit to help those in need whenever he could. "Even the Moon needs the aid of the stars to light up the sky," his mother had instructed once. In other words, help those in need and they may help you in turn. In the end you will all light up the world with good acts. The meaning was a little too sentimental to him at the time, but as he grew older he found that being the truth more often than not. Of course, mutual aid was never his goal when helping the less fortunate.

He sensed Lusalma's change of mood back to "normal" and relaxed even more. The mention of sweet food seemed to do the trick. Now Lusalma spoke easily with Tanit and Alak decided to let the ladies get to know each other better while he discussed compensation with Alana.

When Alana finally gave in, Alak felt a bit of accomplishment. He suspected convincing the woman to change her mind was no small feat. Alak caught a bit of Tanit and Lusalma's, who walked a bit ahead of he and Alana, conversation. Lusalma was right, Mene would be a nice place to settle. Alak wondered if he could truly do that. Most of his life had been spent wandering from world to world. He never truly felt at home in any of them, and though some he may revisit, he would quickly become restless and leave.

A stable boy ran ahead of them after taking one look toward Lusalma. Meanwhile, before passing the beggar girl, Alak turned to look upon her face which was turned away, focusing a little to hard on anything but the passerby.

"Would you like to join us miss?" he said suddenly and let Alana move ahead, causing some around who were familiar with the girl's status, or just plain offended by her look, to pause. "You need not be shy. I am a stranger here, so I am not use to seeing hungry young women so close to food but so far," he said in a gentlemanly tone.

After a quick meal and some questions and answers, Alak knew would be able to sleep soundly tonight. Or at least he hoped he knew.

Sirena blinked at how fast Lusalma talked but smiled politely in response to her apology. "It's ok, I don't mind but honestly I'm not really sure where the best place to live would be where you are speaking of. You see I live on the land of a lord I'm serving so I don't have to pay for land. Sorry if I couldn't be of more help." She gave a smile of apology to her.

She listened in behind her as Alak offered the beggar girl the chance at a meal. He certainly tried to make others feel good she thought to herself. She didn't really mind or care, though she wondered if he did this to make up for his Drow side.

Lusalma, upon hearing Tanits response sighed slightly in disappointment but than perked up as a thought hit her. Turning back to Tanit Lusalma was about to ask another series of questions when she heard Alak's kind words to the girl who had been watching them. Turning around curiously Lusalma also looked at the girl... However, before Lusalma could really do anything the stable boy Lusalma had sent ahead appeared at the front door and greeting them he stated they had a table ready. Pausing, Lusalma turned towards the rest of the group and wondered if there would be one more for the meal...

Alana watched him with facination. Why would he care about some homeless street whore? What would make him want to offer her food when she was sure he couldnt have that much money otherwise he would be traveling by horseback. She stared at him a moment before joining him at his side. She looked at the girl waiting to see what she would do.

The two shimmering golden eyes looked up as the man came near, twinkling at him from beneath a determined brow. Now that he was approaching, there was much more to the girl than was previously apparent. Yes, she was dirty and homeless, but also fierce and strong. It became quite obvious that this girl could easily take care of herself. The sparkling rings on her fingers were also more obvious to the eye. The light haired girl wondered why this man would offer to be so kind, but either way it was a good way for her to slip into the group, even if the group consisted of one kind man and many women who seem to be blatantly starring at her.

No doubt they thought she was a vagabond, pick pocket or even worse a whore, despite her well made, though dirty, clothing. Who knew what the man approaching her was thinking too. Perhaps he saw her as an unfortunate, unable to help herself, which was worse than the other possibilities. Either way she turned to face him, eyes holding a strong gaze with him, completely unashamed and very bold, but in now way could her stance be construed as rude, more proud and filled with self respect without seeming cocky. Her trousers flapped in the wind, as they were slightly lose and made of thin material, like genie pants but opaque, her sandals ground against the earth. It did take her a moment to reply to the man, as she wanted to take a little time to look him and his companions over.

"Thank you very much" she said, accent unlike many from this land. It was evident she was originally from the cold lands, a highlander accent tipping each lyrical word, though her tanned skin made her resemble those of the desert dwelling clans of far away lands. "I would be glad to join your company." she said, no specifying anything about food or money.

This girl didn't assume that she was receiving charity and would definitely refuse it if offered it. She worked hard for her money, and she certainly would not take anything free. After all, if something was worth having, it would be gained through effort. At least that's what she'd always been told. "I'm Phoeniare" she continued, bowing her head, not one to shake hands. Well, it wasn't so much a bow as a nod of the head. She felt an introduction was necessary, especially when shown kindness.

As Alak waited for the girl's response, he was well aware of several things at once. First, his new found companions, despite their differences, all stared at him and the waif curiously. Another one of the many countless reasons Alak was an unsuccessful merchant was that he could not pass up helping someone he figured was in need. It usually led to him emptying his purse. However, despite appearances and complete lack of frugality, Alak had a large sum of money stored away. It was not money he considered earned. Quite frankly, Alak hardly earned money at all what with his failing business. Either way, because he did not earn this gold he had no qualms about spending it on others. As for himself, he preferred a modest lifestyle similar to the one he had as a child. Certainly he would need to find the bank tomorrow to replenish his sum after tonight.

Another thing he became aware of was the state of the girl herself. She no longer glanced away shyly but looked at him with a bold, almost defiant gaze. For a moment he thought she would refuse out of pride. Alak could sense something else. The rings on her fingers became clear as day and they looked quite valuable. He could draw one of three conclusions: 1) the rings had sentimental value much like his crescent amulet, 2) she was not a beggar but an unkempt thief who was looking for work not food, 3) all of the above.

He decided to take his chances with #3 when he perceived a moment of hesitation. "My name is Alak. And don't worry, we have room for one more miss," he said. Therefore, her pride would not be injured if she sat at the table and ate with them.

She responded. Alak immediately recognized her northern accent. It sounded strange dripping from her tanned lips. When she did not accept his hand, he let it hang limply at his side. Alak realized that his party was waiting and turned to them sheepishly and followed them to a nearby the table.

Alana had not lied. The Lion's Breath tavern was quite crowded and noisy. Drunkards jostled waitress' skirts and sloshed ale on the floor. The bartender was a hefty man with scars and tattoos. The sweet tangy smell of alcohol filled the air and almost made Alak sneeze. He glanced up to the second floor where rooms waited and saw several women coaxing two men to a room. From this angle he could see up their short skirts easily. Alak quickly glanced back down and then at his party. The five of them would sit at a square table, and a 5th chair had been brought over. The tavern used paper made to look like lion's skin for its menu. That coupled with the dark, noisy, and pipe smoke crowded atmosphere made Alak decide this place had bad taste.

"This is alright with everyone?" he asked the others about Pheonaire with a slight tinge of guilt for inconveniencing others with his "giver's tick".

A small smile dawned on her pink lips, lighting up her face slightly with a warmer glow. Her eyes took in the rest of the group yet again, wondering what they were thinking, or if there would be angered concerned with her intrusion, but she figured that would become evident soon enough either way. Her feet scuffed on the ground, brown sandals tapping as she followed in, still thinking over the same lines: These people’s reactions to her. They weren’t threatening, but neither were the others entirely welcoming. Either way, a way in was a way in and in this city, if you were alone you wouldn’t exactly live long in the outer district. Well, that was how Phoeniare saw it with every town, and the blazing fire that seemed to flicker behind the simple gold of her eyes showed that she had the determination to find a way out of her predicament.

As she finally arrived at the door, letting the party through before herself, she welcomed the warm flush of air against her cold, dry skin. Her flesh didn’t look damaged in any way, but the cold weather had done its bit. But now with the warmth and the prospect of company, she felt a small light of happiness in her. However she did not let that distract her. Seeing the drunken men all around them and judging by how the waitresses were being treated, the golden eyed girl would definitely have to battle her way through, which she managed fine.

Her hands moved deftly to pinch and twist a finger from any hand coming near her, even those encroaching from behind that she couldn’t in any way see with her eyes. To be fair she was too busy scouting out her surroundings, as her hands moved quickly and silently, followed by a not so silent yelp and a few complaints. Of course no man would stand up and attempt to fight a woman, but a couple of the drunkards seemed angry enough to do so. Either way Phee was more interested in the company ahead of her and the people around her. She eyed up the women enticing a pair of young man, blinking hard and looking down, seeming slightly traumatised, when she saw up their skirts. She hated when things like that happened, and couldn’t shake her disgust as she followed, wide eyed and head bowed.

She was glad to finally be sat at the table, making sure to chose one facing away from the women next to Alak. She seemed quite neutral about the place to the rest of the party, when in reality she quite liked it. She smell of smoke and the crowded nature appealed to her, but her shock masked any other feelings she might had been having.

“Thank you for allowing me to join your group” She said after Alak spoke, pleased that she had been welcomed in by at least one person.

Having seen the introduction and accompaniment of this new personage into their group Lusalma smiled and slid through the groping hands and sweaty crowd. Pausing slightly Lusalma smiled and slipped the stable boy a tip for reserving the table. Sitting down near the wall Lusalma smiled at Phoeniare and asked curiously, "Well, I'm glad that you decided to come with us, I think its more fun with more people but may I ask how you came to be standing outside the inn? If I'm too curious just say so and I won't expect an answer, I just thought it would be a good conversation starter." Smiling at the end of her question Lusalma concentrated on the noises and sounds around her, waiting for the waiter to come or the innkeeper or danger or Phoeniare response whichever happened first...

Alana chuckled at the niceness of this Drow. He was helpful. Most Drow were rude and unkept. Most would let there parents die if it put themselves at risk. She sighed. She would never understand these people. She studied the new girl wondering exactly what her angle was. Alana was sure she had not seen her before. She saw the waitress show up and smiled at her ordering ale for herself as she was not hungry.

"Its fine that you allow this new girl to join us. But as we are all together now I would ask everyone to introduce themselves so that we are all straight on names. I am Alana. I am a hire assassin. But currently am going to get a job from the king tommarrow afternoon as assassin work is uneeded at the moment."

Trained and working as a Healer, or a Practicing Nurse, whichever. Came to Mene to settle and hopefully get a good health center running and hopefully have a wonderful family someday." Finished with her introduction Lusalma smiled and glanced at Phoeniare from the corner of her eye, waiting and hoping that the new and interesting member of their group would introduce herself or answer her previous question. After several moments of waiting Lusalma looked over at Tanit and Alak, idly wondering what they were here for. Smiling softly at her own thoughts Lusalma noticed a slight movement to her right, a waitress was approaching to take their orders.

Phoeniare had taken a moment to ponder a reply to Lusalma's question. She seemed to be a chatty, friendly person, which was something Pheoniare eagerly looked for in people. She was the kind of person to rid herself of negative individuals quite quickly, as she had tired of bad attitudes. This particular being was old, very old and knew the frustration and angst that came with associating oneself with people who can do nothing but hate.

Either way, this group so far seemed friendly, and Phee felt happy. Her smile was only slight and she kept her expression under great control, even when her soon to be reply was halted before it could start by another girl talking about introducing each other. Very good idea, but none the less she could feel a prickle at the back of her neck. She ignored this and showed no sign of annoyance, but simply listened to the others explaining themselves. Sure, it was hard to do in such a noisy environment, with leering men and beckoning whores.

She caught Lusalma's eyes glancing at her, and felt it was perhaps her turn to speak. Either way she would take the small gap of silence as a cue. "I'm Phoeniare." she started with, leaving a small pause afterwards "But you can call me Phee if you wish." she added a smile before continuing. "I'm an item retriever, and I've come to Menewsha to settle down, or perhaps explore the new land" She shrugged, looking off for a moment.

"But" she continued, smiling happily with a friendly twinkle in her eye. She pointed at Lusalma jokingly, "I must add, I came upon the inn by utter chance" she now sat back in her seat, still smiling "Odd to think that I was lucky enough to come upon such a kind group!" she admitted, nodding at the two girls who had just introduced themselves and the gentle, friendly man next to her.

Blinking in surprise at the response of Phee Lusalma's eye's slowly brightened and with her brightening eyes she smiled big and wide. Leaning over the table slightly Lusalma grinned so her eyes could be seen and said happily, "Well, I'm really glad we met you! It's so nice to have someone else so friendly! I think I like you! Can you be my friend?" Upon finishing her abrupt outburst Lusalma stiffened slightly...someone was looking at her butt. Eye twitching slightly Lusalma sat down slowly and looked over the shoulder. Seeing a group of 3 or 4 workers leering happily at her a faint vein could be seen starting to throb at her temple. Smiling brightly back Lusalma whispered with a bit of a push, "Don't look at us..." Pleased at the abrupt removal of their lecherous gaze Lusalma smiled faintly and turning back to the table paused. Realizing what she had just done instinctively Lusalma frowned slightly and glancing at the table looked at the group from under her eyelashes, waiting for their response to her 'unusual' ability...

(I'm going to be without a computer for a few days due to moving so I'll be back later.)
Sirena had been answering all of Lusalma's questions to the best of her ability when a small raven landed on her shoulder, it had a note tied to it's leg. She took it and the bird flew off, she already knew who it was from and opened it to read. She sighed a little at the timing but stood up to alert everyone. "I'm sorry everyone but something has come up and I must depart. Lord Blackbird needs something of me. Here. She placed a bag of gold coins on the table. " That should be enough to get you started here and it was a pleasure meeting you all. Perhaps I'll see you later." She gave them all a smile and bowed slightly before quickly heading out the door, he had given her a strict time limit and she didn't wish to be late, it was a pet peeve of hers for some reason.
