Well; to say the truth ever since school had started I have been going to sleep around 9-10 only because I try to wake up early the next day; like if i would go to sleep at 9pm a night I would most likely be able to wake up 6am just enough sleep to go to school with energy. But in the summer I was a mess; I went to sleep around 4-5am and woke up around 2 pm, and then the first day of school I had a messed up day; XP I think you should go in your bed and TRY to go to sleep even if it doesn't come right when you lay down, go ahead and count sheep. Or if you really want to get your schedule fixed I would eat that fruit that makes you drowsy...I forgot what it was called...hmmm. Yeah well you could also make your day more productive with like sports or run or get hype so at the end of the day you get tired and drop asleep. =] Ha Ha!

I can't fall asleep before midnight. I'm usually asleep at 2:00 AM at the earliest. x_x Sometimes I wish I could go to sleep sooner. But it just feels more normal to me now to be up late. It doesn't help that my boyfriend stays up late too and most of my friends stay up pretty late talking to me online so I stay up talking to all of them, and don't want to leave in the middle of conversations and stuff. If I could get my boyfriend to go to sleep earlier, I could tear myself away from the computer earlier too, but I don't think that will ever happen.

I'm kind of in the middle. Sometimes when I was 9 I went to sleep at twelve something as wasn't tired. When I read in bed I always get so sleepy I sleep with the light in my face.

I like to keep to my schedule as much as possible, because im prone to sleep problems, which make me a very unhappy person when i start suffering for it.
Im very sensitive to other peoples feelings, computers and suchlike, so i have to isolate myself from them for about an hour before i sleep, sometimes more depending who they are, and i have to get off the computer at least two hours before.
I tend to go to bed around 10-11 just lately, and wake anywhere between 5-6. I get up at 6:45.

I love sleep! And I'm certainly someone who really needs it. Unfortunately since I've started college it's been really hard to get to sleep at a decent time because of the amount of work I have to do. Plus, sometimes I have trouble sleeping, which makes matters worse.

Most days I have 8am class, and I need at least an hour to get ready, so I wake up at 7am almost everyday. And when I don't have early classes, then my body usually wakes itself up around 9am. I definitely function best when I have a minimum of 8hrs sleep, so I try to get to sleep around 11 or 12 at night, but so often I don't. The limit I've set for myself is 2am, because if I'm not asleep by 3am, then I won't function at all the next day, regardless of when I wake up.

If I'm not getting enough sleep, what I try to do is set goals at increments. For example, if I'm getting to sleep around 1am every night, I try to aim for 12:30, and after getting that a few times, I aim for 12, and so on. The hardest part is keeping with it.

Actually, the ideal amount of sleep for anyone is 8-9 hours, even as an adult. More than that and you'll feel even more exhausted than you would if you'd only gotten 6-7.

If you get less than 7 hours it can result in cognitive dysfunction.

On another note, I hate when there are people who try telling me that they've gone a week without any sleep. That's a total lie and physically impossible! If it's true, then say your goodbyes to your family, because you're going to go to sleep and never wake up again. Longest anyone has ever gone without sleep is 264 hours (11 days) but he was having serious delusions and hallucinations, he was monitored by doctors though the entire time. Just thought that was kind of interesting.

I do... but I stay awake a lot.

Even sleeping early causes me to wake up 3 times in one night. Then just stay up till morning...

That and I think my dreams have gotten pretty stupid, so I stay awake to avoid having them

I don't think I get enough sleep during the weekdays but I try and make up for it on the weekends without oversleeping too much.

I think they're some kind of fad with functioning on little sleep...

For some reason I always either wake up or not go to bed until 3 in the morning. It's kinda wierd when you wake up at an unusual time each morning without an alarm clock

I hate to be one of the people who get bad sleep. Well, it's not so entirely bad, but I usually sleep 7 hours or (less often) 6 hours a night. It may not sound bad, but since I'm 14, I usually sleep 8-9 hours for full energy the next day. I am, however, attempting to sleep earlier (it's 8PM right now, got school tomorrow, so I'm going to be off in like, 20 minutes) because I feel like I need a wake up call (pun not intended, haha) about the lack of sleep or else I'm going to feel like crap in the morning everyday (and I don't want to). I guess another side benefit is getting rid of my unsightly bags! ):<

I love to sleep. I love to lay down in bed and relax, and get that nice feeling when you've just woken up from a good 8 hours of sleeping.

BUT FOR SOME DAMN REASON, I woke up at 2:24am...
