Xenasse was so excited that she didn't even realize at first that Raina had stopped looking, until she felt like a thousand eyes were on her. She shrugged it off and turned slightly towards Raina. "Ignore them Rain, their just curious... they'll look away when their satisfied." She smiled, and pretened to be innocent and pay attention. Letting a apology show on her face. After awhile the Teach resumed the studies and the students, one by one slowy, turned back around in their desk.

"Sorry about that Rain... I didn't mean to make them all stare.... with you being super shy and all... I guess I just got over excited or something to find someone to talk to who is not only interesting but a awesome drawer." She grinned from ear to ear, then drew a stick figure of herself giving he stick figure of a Raina a hug. With wiggly looking bubbly letters that said friends.

It’s alright” Rain whispered, blushing until all eyes were off o them. She then glanced over at Xena, reaching over to touch her hand in a brief gesture of reasurance. She then let her hand return to her doodles, glancing at the figures the other girl drew. She smiled seeing them, playfully drawing a picture of the cat girl with her hair sweeping in front of her neck and shoulders to complete the headshot. She then wrote the word friend intertwined in her hair delicately.

Looking up as Raina touched her hand in what appeared to be reasurance. He peered over her shoulder to the other students to see if they had any stragglers still looking, none. Undisturbed for the momemt she finished her drawing. And looked up at Raina just in time to see her smile before she herself directed her attention to the page, with pencil in hand. Watching in amazement as she drew with any guidelines. As if she can see it already laid out on the paper and she was just drawing it. But the main thing that stuck out was it looked alot like her, and her hair was mixed with letter; intertwined if you will. In awe she read what the one word, friend.

It seems Xenasse has been successful in being the other girls friend, which was a check mark on her list. "When and where did you learn to draw like that? Seriously that is pretty cool... you know what, sign this and give it to me. You might be famous one day, so this might be worth something...not that I would sell it... It's priceless."

Rain shrugged with a bashful smile, though playfully signing her name and handing the paper to the other girl subtly. “I dunno…. I just started drawing when I was little and never stopped.” She admitted quietly, running a hand through her pale hair. She’d always been shy and kept to herself … so instead of going out with friends like most people would she sat and drew pretty much. A lot of practice can earn one a skill now and then.

Taking the paper she looked up to the teacher handing out work sheets, she groaned. Then looked back to Raina, "Oh, I see.. oh hey heh I never noticed how long your hair was. Geez, thats long.. how do you take care of it?" She wondered as was thinking about what would be on that sheet handout the teacher was giving everyone. Maybe printed notes or something.

Rain smiled inwardly, shrugging her shoulders as she revealed “Hehe easy, being what I am keeps it all moist and healthy. It could be longer but I don’t let it grow further.” The shy creature then flushed slightly, glancing at the teacher to see what she was handing out. She was curious, tilting her head to the side but as usual was to shy to say a word. Was it anything interesting? Probably just a worksheet for today’s lesson Rain thought with an inner eye roll.

She then leaned closer to Xena, glancing towards her and giving her a smile before hiding some of her drawings so the teacher wouldn’t see. She was not interested in getting in trouble…. It had happened before, even though she still managed excellent notes….

"I wish I was nymph, your hair is really beautiful." She told Raina nd watched her blush once more, Raina really was a shy person, wasn't she? Xenasse looked at her, but she didn't say anything about the worksheet she titled her head to look at. Instead she leaned over to Xenasse and hide their drawings. Her tail flicked slightly more to the left then to the right and looked up to see the teacher infront of their desk.

Xenasse avoided her gaze and just took the paper and place it on her desk. "Rain?" She said before looking over the worksheet. "I have no idea what the answer is to number...." She scanned the questions quickly to see if she needed any help on any problems, that her friend might be able to help with. "Five" She said pointing to it on Raina's paper towards the bottom.

Rain blushed, running a hand through her hair. “I….thank you … It’s just….thank you.” She murmured, to shy to say anything further. She then glanced at the work sheet, glancing over at number five. She studied it a moment and wordlessly pointed out the answer in her own notes, handing them over. She was terrible at explaining things…. She always tripped over her own tongue.

Xenasse waited for Raina t come up with a answer, and when she finally did he pointed it out on her notes. "Oh!... I knew that, I was just testing you." She snickered, and wrote the answer down before moving back up to number one and proceeded to write down the answer, then moved to number two. "Do you think the quiz will be easy?"

“Easy enough, long as we go to class…” Rain suggested, beginning to write the answers absently. She didn’t see to pay much attention to it, yet so far all the answers were correct. She’d already read the appropriate chapter….always did. She didn’t much care for teachers or interaction….so she always went to the book.

"Hm..." She paused in her work for a second to look at Raina's, the girl was near finishing, she must really know her stuff. Turning back to her own, she continued to work. "You work really fast, Do pre-read the chapters or something?" She asked after she finished her last question before turning the paper over to do the last three.

Rain looked up as she heard her speak, giving Xena a small shy smile. She nodded, glancing at the sheet of paper. She realized she was almost done now, having kinda been doing the assignment on autopilot. It was an irony though…. Despite this and her natural intelligence she was never very popular with teachers. She never paid attention in class and would often skip it if she felt like sleeping in or doing something else… It kinda frustrated them that she could still get at least a b on the work….even though she ignored everybody. The fact she even spoke to Xena was unusual….for obvious reasons she wasn’t very popular.

"Oh, well theres nothing wrong that I suspose, but its cheating in a way. Haha already prepared before theres anything to prepare for." She grinned, and looked done at her paper. "Yay I'm done! Finally, that took forever" she sighed.

As Rain finished she returned to doodling, not looking up until she heard Xena spoke. The shy girl half smiled as she leaned her head forward, hair falling forward and half covering her face. “I like to be prepared…” She said quietly, shrugging and fidgeting nervously in her seat. She had never thought of it that way… though honestly it was just easier… She hated being in class….where people could see her….often she’d skip and do things from home simply to avoid others…

Xenasse turned in her paperwork by passing it up to the front, and pulled out the doodle once more. "I'm going to frame these when I get home" She said and glance sideways to Rain. "Well, don't get me wrong, being prepared isn't a bad thing.. but... haha ok I'm jealous that I wasn't prepared thats all."

"Are you okay?" She asked noticing she was fidgeting in her seat.

As she spoke of framing it Rain couldn’t help but smile, quite complimented. She knew she was skilled but …..framing, well she was just an amateur after all. She paused in her fidgeting a moment, simply pleased though she hid her smile behind her hair a moment. As the other spoke of her being prepared she simply shrugged, glancing to the side. It was alright…her studious quiet nature was rarely admired though she never thought of it as jealousy…she always just thought she was annoying or creepy like people said. Hearing the question was all that caused her to look up, a blush and small smile on her face. “I…yes….just…just thinking.” Was her nervous, shy reply.
