"You are not my Fighter. I already have one." Ritsuka said. He noticed Soubi and watched him.

The girl looked at Soubi and her eyes narrowed. "You cannot deny me my Sacrifice Soubi," she said.

Soubi's frown deepened. "I think you should leave," he said, "This is not the way to approach someone who does not know you."

Yumi huffed angrily.

"I will fight you if I have to. One on one, without Ritsuka, and you will lose," Soubi said, his eyes hard.

Yumi knew he was right. She was not nearly as experienced as someone like Soubi. She looked down at Ritsuka and bent down slightly so she was eye-level with him. Gently she kissed his cheek. "Don't close your heart to me," she whispered before she left.

Ritsuka glared at her as she left. He looked back at Soubi. "I don't understand. I thought you were my Fighter. Why is she saying she is?" he asked him. Well, more like demanded.

Soubi pulled Ritsuka into his arms. He looked him over, making sure he wasn't hurt in anyway. "I was your brother's Fighter," Soubi said, "Yumi has been missing for almost five years... I never expected her to come back."

"Why would she come? I don't want or need a different Fighter." Ritsuka said. He was still mad that some stranger was trying to take him away from Soubi.

Soubi blinked, looking at Ritsuka. A slight smile came to his lips. "So you want me?" he whispered, holding him a little closer.

Ritsuka instantly blushed. He nodded slightly. "I don't like that girl. At all." he said, quietly.

"Then I will make sure to keep you safe, Ritsuka," Soubi whispered, holding him tightly and kissing the top of his head.

Ritsuka blushed more. "Good. I don't ever want you to leave me." he said.

"Then I won't," The fighter said plainly. He sat down, holding Ritsuka to him as he did.

"Ritsuka! Is someone in there?" his mother asked, knocking on the door.

"NO! Nobody's in here." Ritsuka said.

Soubi sighed softly. He stayed perfectly silent so that Ritsuka's mother wouldn't here him. If it was his decision he would have gotten rid of the woman, but Ritsuka had said not to.

"But I heard voices." she said.

"There is no one in here but me. So go away." Ritsuka said. His mom pounded on the door for a little while longer before going away.

Soubi let out a small breath he hadn't been aware he had been holding. "I wish I could take you away from here," he whispered softly, "I would protect you."

"I don't need to be taken away from here. Mom needs me here. I can't leave her." Ritsuka said.

"She needs medical attention," Soubi said, "We could take her to the hospital." Soubi sighed softly. "I'm not saying this because I dislike her," he told him, "I'm saying this with sincere concern because I know she's important to you. She needs to see a doctor. I would take care of you while she's away."

"She doesn't need a doctor! She isn't sick!" Ritsuka exclaimed. He pushed away from him and sat on his bed. "You just want her to be gone." he said.

"No!" Soubi said, keeping his voice, "No, Ritsuka, please believe me. The things that are important to you are important to me, but I truly think that a visit to the doctor might really help her. She might start acting like your mother again. Please don't be angry with me..."

"No! Going to the doctor won't help. There is nothing wrong with her. She isn't sick." Ritsuka said. "And I'm not mad at you." he added quietly.

Soubi looked away. "I'm sorry Ritsuka," he said softly, "I'm only trying to help..." The older man looked sad.

"I know." Ritsuka said. He stood up and went back over to Soubi. "Please don't be sad." he said. "It bothers me."

Soubi brought his arms around Ritsuka "I love you Ritsuka," he said softly to him.

"I know you do....Though I'm not sure why." Ritsuka said.

Soubi wished the boy would see reason. He knew what his mother meant to him, and he only wanted to help.

"I'm sorry..I know you just wanted to help...But I know there is nothing wrong with my mom." Ritsuka said.
