Maddy smiled and stood up. She walked over to the wall and carved a rune into the wall right nextto her name. She then carved Seara's name next to Christian's and smiled. "Thats Volt and that's Seara." she said pointing to the runes. She smiled and looked at him warmly. It was amazing that she could smile after everything she had been threw. From the abuse from her father, to having her most treasured compainion and part of her get taken away... It was more then most people could survive through. And yet she was smiling.

Christian smiled and walked over to her and smiled. He heard Seara crackle in his in his ear and smile.d He placed a hand on Maddy and Seara slithered over to her and around her happly. "she is sad that He is gone." he said as he watched them. He had kept some fire with him to keep him warm. He then wondered what time it was since he knew that the men in white hwere going to come for him soon to torture him or how they liked to call it theripy.

Maddy's glowing eyes faded slightly and nodded. She kissed Seara's head and smiled keeping her spirits up. "Hopefully... I can avenge him before my time." she said softly and wrapped her arm around Christian's shoulder. "And really... He's not hone I dont think... Just waiting... For me." she said and placed Seara back on Christian. She was greatful fortheir support but nothing could truely comfort her... Except getting Volt back. "All I need is to find some electricity somewhere... And I could find him again." she said being optimistic.

Christian smiled when she said that, " if you just need that then I can help you." he said but right when he said that the door opend and two men in white came in. They saw the seara and thougth she was a fire. They growled at him and grabed him. "it looks like you will need extra therapy now." he said and the other guy looked at Maddy. "we need to take him for a little while. SO stay here." he said and right before they took Christian away Seara slipped off of him and went to Maddy. She knew what they where going to do to Christian and she needed to stay alive if he wanted to stay alive.

"No you leave him be!" Maddy said angerily and grabbed a white coat by the arm. "Let go of me!" he spat and smacked her across the face. Maddy fell from the force of the impact and her lip began to bleed. She looked up and grabbed Seara before she could bite a white coat. Maddy shook and slowly got up to her knees. "Christian!" she called but it was too late as the room door slammed.

Seara wrapped herself around Maddy and you could tell she was stressed. She gently pressed her nose to the bleeding lip and whipped some of the blood off. But she was still worryed, she had only a tast of what htey could do before and she knew that they would lock Christien up and do something to him. THey would try to get him to stop his fire but his fire was his life. What kept him going every day, if they took that he was as good as dead.

Maddy petted Seara to not only calm the snake down but herself as well. "If I could just get Volt back.... I could help Christian..." she whispered softly. She then suddenly got an idea and stood. "You better hold on Seara this is going to be risky." maddy said and put her knife in her pocket. She walked to the door and reached out to it with her mind. She touched it in three places and it suddenly flew open. She then looked around and smiled seeing no white coats. She quickly ran to the room where she knew the control panel was and opened this door the same way. A white coat was inside but thinking quickly she paralized him with a specific grab to the neck. He slumped in the chair and she smiled. Looking at the cercet board she pounched her hand threw the screen and grabbed the wires. She gasped as the amazing power of the electricity ran threw her igniting her power and need to become one with it. The electricity suddenly began to form and a huge falcon bursted forth from the wires. "Volt!" Maddy cried happily and it cawed in response. It landed on her outstretched wrist and she smiled stroking his feathered head lovingly. Suddenly white coats streamed into the room and grabbed her. She cried out in pain as they forced her hands behind her back. "Let me go!" she cried angerily and Seara hid in her shirt while Volt flew silently above her head. She was then led away towards the theropy.

When they got inside they saw Chrsitan in the corner of the room. He was as white as white can be and was shivering. His lips where blue and he didn't make anymoved to go anywhere. The one white coat who had her laughed at Christian then whispered to her, "we are going to do that to you. But in a different way." he said and smirked, "you see we dunked him into a ice cold bath and this was how he was like right when he pulled him out and didn't let him dry off. He isn't going to be moving anywhere now." he said and Seara poked her head out and saw Christian. She wanted to go to him right now and warm him but had to stay hiden.

"You monster!" Maddy said angerily. She was dragged past Christian and she quickly told Seara to go with him. She would die if she stayed with Maddy. The man smiled as she tried to fight it and knowing Volt wanted to come she instructed him silently to stay alive and hidden. She was then led into a dark room and shivered. Fear gripped her as the door closed and it was completely dark. This was the oposite of electricity darkness and cold. She was suddenly forced into freezing water and screamed. She could feel the horrible effects of the pitch black and the cold only made it worse. She fought to surface but was forced right back down again. After a few times she lost all stength and began sinking. The men grabbed her and lifted her out. "The doc said we should leave her in the darkness for good measures." one said. "Naw look at her. There's no way she's comming back from that." the other said and they dragged her out and threw her into the room next to Christians. The wall was made of glass so they could see eachother but Maddy couldn't see anything but darkness and shook as she layed on the floor. Horror and pain was written in her features but she didn't move a muscle and never blinked.

Seara nodded and quickly made her way towards Chrstian.When she got there his touch hurt his a little bit. He felt like ice and slowly she began to curl around him. Christan slowly started to come back to life and he stoped shivering. He soon could feel his hands, feet and everything else. He quickly looked around and saw Maddy in the next room. He slowly made his way towards her and placed a hand on the glass. He felt it heat up and it started to melt. He smiled a little bit and soon he could put his hand threw. He then touched Maddy, trying to warm her up as he tryed to make teh opening bigger for him.

Maddy couldn't feel Christian's touch. The darkness was too much. She needed light. "Volt... Volt..." she whimpered as tears slid down her cheeks. She then felt the warmth but it felt far away. "Help..." she whispered shaking and couldn't see anything. The darkness was sufficating her and she was going under.

Christian finally melted a hole big enough for him and got closer to her. He took her into his arms and Seara wrapped around him and her. He gently stroked Maddys head and tryed to get her warm. When he heard her whisper volt Seara slithered away form them and hissed for volt to come to them. Maddy needed him right away or else they may lose her. Christan held her closer and tryed to get her warm by his body heat.

A huge caw sounded and Volt swooped threw the hole and landed magestically next to Maddy. He touched his head to hers and she closed her eyes and smiled. "Volt..." she whispered and opened her eyes feeling his light. She could see again and feeling Christian's arms around her she blushed. The falcon gave another magnifisent call and she held out her arm. He hopped onto her wrist and she petted his head. "Thank you... All of you..." she whispered and looked into Chritian's eyes.

Seara wrapped herslef around Christian again and looked like a sash the way she did it. Christian smiled at her, "hey we have to stick togeather and I promised that I wouldn't let anything happen to you." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He had the urge not to let go of her and he didn't. He felt that if he did he would lose her and he didn't want that. He didn't want to lose the only person who understood him.

Maddy's blush deepened and knowing what she was feeling Volt gave her a swift nudge. She fell forward and her lips caught Christians. Taken by surprise Maddy didn't know what to do. But she soon found herself closing her eyes and leaning closer.

Christian was surprised to feel her lips on his but found himself kissing back. Who knew that you could find someone to love in a insane asylum. but then again love was a funny thing and he only pulled her closer.

Maddy kissed back and Volt gave a quiet caw. She blushed and pulled away. She looked into Chritian's eyes and knew that this world was real. Because he was here. Suddenly the door opened and Volt took to air angerily. Maddy looked at the door and a scientist smiled at them. Her skin crawled at the sight and he pulled out a collar for each of them. "Now if you two are good we'll let you live." he said and Maddy glared at him. Her hand wrapped around Chritian's and suddenly Volt dived. He clawed and ripped at the man with beak and claw and shocked him as well. "Run!" Maddy said pulling Chrisitan to his feet and running out of the room. Volt followed as the man crumpled to the floor and then flew ahead leading them.

Christan nodded and ran with her. He kept his hand in hers to make sure that she didn't get lost and continued to run. "this way." he said as he directed her down a hall and more men in white came out. Christan held out his hand and fire spewed from it, knocking them down to the ground. "the door is right down the hall." he said and remembered seeing it so many tiems and now he had a reason to leave.

Maddy ran with him and suddenly a hand grabbed around her ankle. She fell to the ground in shock and surprise and suddenly a gate smashed down over the door. Sirens went off and maddy kicked the man in the face that was holding her ankle making him let go. "There has to be another way out!" she said worriedly getting up.

Christian nodded and took her hand again, "there is and it is this way." he said and started to run down the hall to his old room. He had burned a hole into the wall to the outside world a while ago but he coudln't bring himself to leave so he just covered the whole with his bed. he hoped that no one had covered it up but if they did he would just burn a new whole.

Maddy ran with Christian as fast as she could and Volt gave a warnning cry. Suddenly white coats filled the hall in front of them and
addy stopped in her tracks. "Come on! We have to go back!" she said fearfully and pulled him back the way they had came. As they rounded the corner she stopped in her tracks seeing more white coats. "We're trapped..." she whispered and paled.

Christian wrapped his arms around her and sheiled her form the others. "it is okay, I will protect you." he said and Seara wrapped herself around both of them, trying to protect them. He wasn't going to let then hurt her and he was going to protect her if it was the last thing he did.

Maddy held onto Christian and Volt circled above them protectively. She then began mutter something in a different language under her breath and a scientist stepped forward. "Grab the girl. She has turned this boy into a freak." the scientist said calmly. Volt screeched angerily and zapped a white coat who came to close to them. Suddenly maddy's words grew louder and faintly you could hear the soft sound of buzzing. The walls suddently exploaded around them as she summoned upon the electricity in the walls. It cleared a path for them and she ran with Christian. "Wheres the way out?!" she cried above the screams of pain and anger comming from behind them.

Christian smirked when they said he was a freak, he had always been a freak. Ever since he was little and his parenst found him crawing into there fire place and taking naps right next to the heater. But they still didn't get it. He ran with her and soon saw his room in the distance, "this way." he said and soon was dragging her towards teh room. He ran inside and his whole room was burned. Words where burnt into the wall but they where hard to make out. He then kicked his bed aside and a rush of cool air hit him, "you go first." he said as he looked at her.

Maddy looked into his eyes and nodded. "Come right after me." she said and she and Volt went threw the hole. She landed in grass and tumbled a bit. She scrambled to her feet and volt landed on her outstretched arm. "Come on Chritian!" she called. She loved the beautiful light and couldn't imagine such a more beautiful thing then light.
