Give some to my mom, to with as she pleased. I'd buy a certain house that i'm in love with, then take myself and a couple of friends around the world, seeing those places and doing the things we've always wanted to.
Then i'd pay off mine and my friends uni fees, and donate to some charities, or start my own perhaps.

This is going to seem really pathetic, lol. But I would buy all the woodwind instruments....mmmmm gold plated flute I want one so freaking badly but they cost $100,000 T.T I played with one at a flute festival omg it was amazing....and I would probably buy every manga book out there. Thats it...no fansy mansion. I wouldnt be a rich snob, lol :) Just a band nerd.

I'd probably give some to my family and people important to me.

If I had all the money in the world? What a scary thought. I think I'd be so overwhelmed with it that I'd just give half of it away. I'd probably go running down D.C. throwing it at people until I had what felt to be the right amount of money. Why? Because there's no way I could ever deserve that much money. There's no real use for it, either. There are plenty of people who could make much more use of it than me. XD

But, I would want to have enough to move out of the house, pay for college, get SCUBA equipment, go Hang Gliding and learn to Surf and Snowboard, Eat a healthy diet, move my mom into a better home in a better neighborhood and get started living a better life. I'd probably shower my friends with so many random gifts they wouldn't know what to do with it. I'd probably start up several shelters for animals and homeless people, where they would be treated with kindness. I'd run a decent foster care system that cared about the children and the families. I'd put money into scientific efforts that meant something worthwhile. Instead of searching for what causes cancer, I'd search for how to overcome it. I'd search for ways of transportation that are less harmful to Earth..

and so on and so forth.

'Cause..welll....if I had all the money in the world, you can be sure I'd be running the place. >D

Then I'd buy nice things for my boyfriend and my brother. They need bigger TVs and better videogames.

@ HappyStarr - its funny you say that you'd eat healthier. because really, the only way to do that is by being rich. because healthy foods seem to spoil so quickly. i always find i'm out at the shop buying more within a few days. i love your other ideas as well!!! i wanna go on zip lines in the jungle!!! :D

Hmm, lets see...if I actually had ALL the money in the world:

End world hunger, support ALL research into stopping ALL diseases, hire all the mercenaries in the world to enforce world peace(yes, I would "Privatize World Peace" as Mr Stark would say :P), commision a world class suit of armor done to my liking(bullet proof, and light weight too), buy a castle, train in the art of the sword, have a big family, of course ensure my family is able to live comfortably, and have one room in the castle devoted to proving that "mythical" creatures exist. After that, the rest would be invested, thrown into savings accounts, and over-all I would live and pay for everything else with the interest(since we're talking billions of dollars in interest a month)

Kind of unrealistic, and I'm not sure it could really be a positive thing (Ex: celebrities) Remember money can't buy happiness people :3

- Only the best private schools for my daughter, and a couple of tutors to teach her Chinese and Spanish.

- A bigger house with rooms to store all of my fun collectibles.

- All the My little pony, littlest pet shop, pokemon, ect crap I could ever want!

- Donate a lot of it to cancer research.

- Spoil my daughter rotten.

Actually I can see how this won't end well, I'm glad it's not me. I'm quite content with my life the way it is :3

@Panda-nee - this is all hypothetical... we can dream? cant we?! and i would spoil my kids too, if i had them...

I would spend some of it to travel around the world, making sure to go to some of my favorite locations first. Japan, Italy, Australia, Korea, and Germany would be my first five stops. After that I'd just decide where to go depending which places seemed the most interesting to me. I'd also donate a chunk of the money to charities that I feel are worthwhile. Mainly anything that would help improve human lives, cure diseases, and help the enviroment in someway. I'd also have to make sure to buy lots of dolphin themed items because I like to collect that kind of stuff. I love dolphins, so there's no way I'd be able to avoid buying such things.

Of course I'd buy my dream house, as well as lots of expensive clothing that nice yet still comfortable. There's lots of other stuff I'd buy, but most of it is just small stuff. I'd also send some money to my parents, as well as any other family members who may need it.

Money can't buy happiness, so I'm just going to rent it. I'm getting a nice place to live, a turtle aquarium. and my friends. and that's all i really need.

If I had all the money in the world then no one else in the world would have money so it wouldn't be worth anything.

I'd more than likely get my own house, own a ton of manga and every game system. My money would be used for nerdy things, and for charity too, of course. [Maybe I could buy a house in Disney World!] :vicky:

I'd probably buy the government out and stop war. Disable all nuclear warheads and stuff like that.
I'd buy out the television companies and show programs that are actually worth while- like educational recordings so people can learn to read-speak- write any language they'd like or learn whatever kind of math.. Have some REAL NEWS. showing every receipt to the people of where the money is going. etc XD

I would beg to differ on the notion that money is not capable of buying happiness. For my counter I present the following list.

Heywood, A Politics 3rd edition $41.05

From this short list, I have demonstrated that money can indeed buy happiness. For if I owned those three books, I would be a very happy person. Now as for what I would do with the money, I would buy a large house and have my own live in library. I would be sorted for life <3. Imagine each room dedicated to a specific field from the humanities. A sociology room, a Sociocultural anthropology room, a politics room and a woman's studies room etc. Pure heaven!

i wrote a nanostory. that's how short it was.
i basically had an extremely vivid dream about zombies.
with undertones of being in love with someone.
so, remembering it in the morning, i immediately wrote what parts of the dream i could still recall.
and then added to it.
it ended up being a zombie/love story.

unfortunately, i don't know where it is and hope to recover it soon.
i think it's on my old computer.
which my parents completely wiped clean! D:

i'm going to school for radiology.
however. i have two years of waiting to get into the actual radiology program.
i have all of my general education courses done.

after notifying my mom about the above mentioned today, AND that i made the dean's list, she responded with:
"well why don't you get another associates degree?"

wtf?
ok, well since i have two years and only need about 15hrs for an associates in arts then fine.
i'll do it.
