Turning to face the fiery companion he had gained for the moment he smiled then said, "Then I wish you the best of luck with that milady. Now take your request to one of the crewmen and they will get you what you desire just tell them it was an order from me and you will get it no questions asked." Genesis radiated a strong aura of authority about him but at the same time he had an aura of calmness that flowed from his being. He had to admit that the spirit that the girl possessed was attractive to him but she was far more stubborn than he would like to deal with. Maybe he had grown complacent in all the time of dealing with his crew, which was full of men and women all fairly young in age with a few middle aged persons here and there.

"Fine...too lazy to do it yourself, but whatever....and don't get cocky." Rhianwen turned away from him, before a thought occurred to her. Biting her lip, she realized she was stuck on a boat. In the middle of the ocean. Surrounded by men and some women....oh....crap....

"One problem...." she finally mustered the courage to speak of such a thought to her captor.

Having an idea of what was going through her mind and what she was going to ask him already he waited until she turned back towards him then he replied, "Yes?" He kept his voice innocent so not to give away that he already knew but he really hadn't thought about it but he would be a gentleman.

"How can I be sure none of the men will..y'know...try to take advantage of a woman on board? How many can actually control their hormones all the time? W-where can I stay so they can't walk in unnanounced?" her face burned beet red in embarassment, soft alto voice even softer as she mumbled the words.

Genesis gave her a soft reassuring smile then replied, "You can sleep in my cabin if that will make you feel comfortable. No one is allowed in there without my permission so you would have no worries in there." The young emerald eyed man was itching to see how she would react to his suggestion. He had accurately predicted what her question was and was now moving ahead to see if he would guess her reaction, this was all a mental game to him but it was entertaining enough for the moment. Besides he enjoyed her company oddly enough even though she spent half her time trying to insult him, which meant nothing since she didn't know how to get under his skin or scales whichever you prefer.

Face flushing red in mortified indignation, Rhianwen opened and closed her mouth in disbelief before replying.
"A-a-are you trying to make a sick joke?! Screw you! Like hell I'm gonna fall for that! I'm sure you'dl love that wouldn't you?!" the female sputtered, waving a hand dismissively. Turning her back towards him, she shook her head and paced, stunned and infuriated. "Stupid pervert? What the hell is wrong with you? Do you think I'm stupid? I'm no one's plaything, and I'm not a prostitute!"

The raven haired captain shook his head with a smirk then said, "I never said that I would be in there with you now did I?" He paused for a few seconds then continued, "I offer you the best area in the ship to sleep and with the most privacy and you go off shouting and spewing insults at me again. You know for a woman you aren't very womanly, considering your lack of manners." The serpent king then turner around to look out at the beautiful and calming view that the ocean was providing for them today and leaned on the railing and propped and elbow up allowing his head to rest on his open palm then he said, "If you want you can sleep down in the cabin deck with Jade or Leah, but it won't be complete privacy like I had originally offered. You know... you're a very attractive woman but that mouth of yours and that temper helps nothing. You should learn to have a bit of charm and use it to your advantage or at least learn when you are and aren't allowed to be stubborn at least. You seem to quickly forget that you are in a very disadvantageous situation at the moment." Then standing up to his full height he turned around and folded his arms over his chest peering down at her with shimmering emerald eyes then asked in a gentle and slightly alluring tone, "So what will it be Rhianwen?"

Trying her best to ignore the allure and charm of the man, Rhianwen stood before him in silence. "Well, wgat was I suppossed to think? You specifically say your room, and even if that's true, where did you plan on sleeping?" the woman turned away, face flushing bright red as he complimented and scolded her...all in the same sentence! "I-I don't need charm or any of that....tried it before, didn't work out so well. And..I can have manners when I want to.....but you are infuriating, and you are selfish." The female ignored his question, back towards him as her arms folded across her chest.

Smiling at the young woman he replied, "You should assume that I would be enough of a gentleman to sleep elsewhere milady but it is touching that you are concerned for me. I assure you I will be fine and thank you for the sentiment." Pausing for a moment he realized something, "I am curious as to how you may call me selfish when I offer you my personal captains quarters that rarely anyone aside from myself and one or two select few get to even see. How is it that you came to that conclusion ma'am?" Then walking around the woman so that he could look her in the face, he noticed she was colored with a slight amount of blush but chose to ignore it so not to provoke her further unintentionally. "I know you are evading my questions... where would you like to sleep Rhianwen?" he asked in the same soft and alluring voice as before. Staring her in the eyes directly with his emeralds shining like two bright jewels perfectly made, Genesis intended to get an answer from her one way or another.

"True, you were kind enough to offer me your private quarters. However, you pillage and plunder from innocent people, you steal what others have rightfully earned or bought. You take away the lives, homes, and property of loved ones, and for what? Fun? Pride? Greed? Boredom? Some sick pleasure out of causing pain? I see no reason to go against people who have not done anything to you. If supplies or materials are all you desire, why not buy, trade, or ask for them?"
Turning redder as he gazed intently into her teal eyes with his bright emerald eyes, Rhianwen took a step back. "I'll sleep alone."

His face grew very grave when she began listing off the crimes he allegedly committed then keeping his voice calm he replied, "You know nothing of my past so I cannot fault you for your beliefs. Now right and wrong is defined however you want it defined. I believe that the strong take what they want and the weak adapt, it was a lesson I learned at a young age." Looking at her his eyes his held a glint of a deep sorrow in them then it disappeared as he began speaking again, "So do you want me cabin or not? This is my last time offering it, then you will have to negotiate with the crewmen for a place to sleep..." His patience was wearing thin since she had hit a nerve, he didn't like being told that what he did was wrong by someone else.

Noticing the change in his eyes and voice, Rhianwen glared back. "Everyone has shit happen to them. How you cope and choose to live and be influenced by it, is what defines you. I am no stranger to bad times, but I don't go around commiting crimes now do I? You took an easy way out. If I'm bruising your pride, it is only because you know I'm right." she declared softly, staring into his emerald eyes, firm and unwavering. "Simply because others have wronged you, doesn't mean you are justified in taking it out on those who have not done anything to deserve it."

Placing a hand over his face Genesis' body began to tremble slightly before he burst out into laughter, "I see you believe that wholeheartedly. That's good to have convictions and beliefs I just happen to see things differently. My pride is not easily wounded but to be judgemental is overstepping your rights as a living, breathing entity." This time it was his voice and demeanor that was unwavering. "Now since you elected not to answer my question I guess you will be talking to the crewmen to find somewhere to sleep," he said as he walked back over to the quarterdeck to peer out at the ocean.

It was a beautiful day at sea very much like how he felt Rhianwen was except not quite so calm and relaxing but she was beautiful to look at. It had actually been some time since the weather had been this kind to them since the storm season was just ending. The ocean had taught him a few lessons as he gazed out on it in his time and it was always soothing to him to look out at it on days like this. These opportunities were rare and he liked to take full advantage of them.

"I'm not a little girl you need to worry about. I'll find a place to sleep of my own." muttered the increasingly annoyed female.
Watching him, Rhianwen turned to go find a place to sit and be comfortable. Finding the thick wooden pillar for the mast, the girl leaned her back against the mast in the center of the ship, sitting on the deck and relaxing.

With a sigh, the young woman toyed with a pendant hanging around her neck. An old habit ever since she was a child, Rhianwen would fiddle with her hair, belt, anything that dangled. Ever since she had gotten the beautiful gem around her neck, the redhead toyed with it and held the cool gem in her hand when she wanted to occupy her hands or calm down.

The captain ignored her since she didn't seem to want to be treated with kindness which she seemed to think he didn't possess. Either way it was nothing he would fret about instead he peered out over the view for a while longer before walking down past Rhianwen then down to his cabin making sure that no one could see inside. Once he locked the door he turned and started went to sit down on his bed. Looking down at the wound on his hand, he knew it wouldn't heal naturally as it should for a human's body. Instead he closed his eyes then inhaled and exhaled a few times until the kin from his wrist down began to expand and dry naturally as if he was shedding his skin. Once he was sure that he could simply pull the skin off like a glove that was too large he did. His hand was moist and a bit gooey underneath but the skin was fresh and brand new like he had just taken a bath. This ritual was not a secret to his crew but he preferred to do this in the privacy of his own room out of courtesy.

Tucking the stone back under her bodice/tunic top, Rhianwen sighed, gazing out at the sea, the horizon. As the ship rocked gently on, the redhead felt her eyes close. Like a babe in a crip, the ship rocked and soothed the weary, sleep deprived female into a deep slumber. For the most part, the crew ignored her, only ocassionally glancing in her direction.

Not long after, a cold spray of rain began to harass the pirates, a simple shower, but still cold and uncomfortable none the less.

Walking back out onto the main deck he noticed that the beautiful day had turned slightly sour as it had begun to rain. The captain's hair grew slick and he went back in and started a fire in his stove to heat up the room. Then walking back onto the deck he noticed that Rhianwen was standing in the rain getting soaked, so he made up his mind. Scoping the area there was no signs of a storm to come simply a passing rain so he called for everyone to head to their quarters so not to get sick. Following the orders of the captain the crewmen obeyed and went underneath to the lower deck. With his clothes now drenched by the sad rains Genesis walked over to the red head and placed a large but gentle hand on her shoulder, then in a light but sincere voice he said, "Come to my cabin so you don't get sick, you have my word that I will not bother you. I swear upon the Gods of the sea." He hoped for once she would receive him kindly and accept although he rather doubted the notion.

Rhianwen tensed at the hand on her shoulder, the sudden contact of the male startling and unnerving her. Trying to keep her cool, she glared at Genesis, gazing into the beautiful emerald eyes. The female debated back and forth in her mind as to whether or not to trust the captain. She didn't trust many people, definately not men, definately not pirates.
On the other hand, Rhianwen was shivering a bit, cold. She got cold quite easily, and as such either wore a cloak or always stayed where it was warm. Rhianwen liked warmth, cold irritated her and made the irate female even crankier.

Sighing, she finally relented, standing slowly as she nodded to captain Genesis. "Hn. Fine. But I warn you, you try anything, I'll castrate you and make you eat it." promised the young redhead, indicating he lead the way.

With a soft smile gracing his lips he nodded and replied, "Then I shall be careful not to try anything milady," as his glimmering emerald eyes met her calm teal gaze. Then turning around he lead her below the quarterdeck to his cabin where the fire was already warming the room. Once they had gotten in there he said, "You can have my bed. Wait here for a moment, I'll be right back." Then he left the room closing the door behind him. Within a few minutes he returned with some dry clothes for her to change into and he handed them to her and said, "Get changed I don't want you catching a cold," in a sincere and gentle voice. He turned his back to allow her the privacy of changing then he thought to himself that he should change as well but he would wait until she was finished.

Once he came back, Rhianwen looked relieved to see pants in the selection. Good. Seeing him simply turned around, the redhead waited, then realizing he was staying in the room as she changed out into dry clothes. The mere idea made her tremble and her cheeks burn bright pink. "Y-you close your eyes!" she ordered, quickly changing out, watching him warily the entire time as she did so. Finally, Rhianwen had the damp clothes on the floor, the new, dry attire completely covering her and each tie, buckle, and button in place. "D-done..."

Genesis closed his eyes as instructed although he had no intention of looking at her even if he may have wanted to do so. Once she finished he turned around and his mouth fell open slightly as he looked at her, she looked amazing in pirate clothing whether she liked them or not. Then not wasting time he said, "I'll have to ask that you turn around for a moment as well while I change my attire miss Rhianwen. Oh and by the way the clothes suit you well," he finished using an alluring and majestic tone of voice. Then without caring whether she actually turned around or looked he stripped and then changed into his favorite outfit (outfit 2) and then once he was done he turned around and then holding out his arms to either side he asked, "How do I look? It's been a while since I wore this outfit, so I need to know if it looks good on me..." Part of him was genuinely curious the other part of him was wanting to tease the girl just a bit, he enjoyed it.

Rhianwen grumbled under her breath, muttering something about him being a 'damn infuriating tease' or something along those lines. Before she could answer, he began to strip. She hadn't even had a chance to turn around yet! Feeling the hairs on the back of her neck prickle and her eyes widen, the girls face turned redder and redder, almost the color of red wine. Spinning away from him, the firey female sputtered in indignation. "Y-y-you idiot! Wait until I turn around first!" her soft alto voice came out as a squeek, making her cringe and mentally slap herself.
Seeing the elaborate, ornate attire, Rhianwen tried her darndest to hide any interest and approval. "N-not bad....it's suiting.." came her soft mumble as she averted her gaze from the captain.

Genesis smiled widely knowing that she was embarrassed to look at him but it was entertaining if nothing else. When she diverted her gaze away from him he actually was somewhat sad and he walked up to her then asked, "Are you afraid to look at me? I'm not sure I believe your words since you can't stand to look at me in my outfit." He made sure that he sounded hurt by her not looking at him since he somewhat was just not fully. For some reason he wanted to gain her trust somehow and he wanted her to open up to him. It was odd but she was something that he wanted... maybe something that he didn't have she could give, or maybe she could fill a gap that was empty within him.

"I'm not scared of you! I'm not scared of anyone!" Rhianwen looked up at the sound of Genesis' voice. Noticing he came close, the female turned red once more. Part of her felt bad for being so mean to him, but she was very cautious around strangers. He was no exception. Not paying attention to her surroundings as she normally would have, the redhead took 2 to 3 steps backwards, only to find a large privy door in her way. "Y-you look pretty good yourself....although I'm sure the others will gladly tell you that." the soft alto voice more gentle once more, not as rough as she usually seemed.

Seeing her hit the door trying to back away from him he smiled and stepped closer to her placing his right hand to the door as he looked down at her with his shimmering emerald eyes. Leaning in until his face was only a few inches from hers and said, "If I wanted to hear it from the others I would have asked them don't you think?" His voice was alluring and calm as he peered into her eyes. He wondered what was going through her head at this moment. She was red from blushing but he had no intention of making her completely uncomfortable. She was wary of him yet she shied away from him as if he was something she was afraid to have. It piqued his interest but he wasn't ready to ask her that just yet, he may in due time though.
