"I'd like to meet your mom someday and ask her about what she knows. The healing is probilly part of spirt. I think alot of full elementilists only get the healing part." Her mood lightened with the talk of his parents. "I'd love to practice with you sometime. We could teach eachother new tricks we learn. So far this is my favorite." Isla held out her hand, a ball of flame formed and shot up at his face. It came about two inches from his face before turning to ash that dropped into her hand. "Gets people every time. I'll teach you, if you want."

He almost pulled his head back at that and he chuckled somewhat, looking impressed. He hadn't seen that one before. And it did surprise him. "That would be cool. Seems like a neat trick, I can do this." he said before holding his hand up before putting it face down, a couple of strings of fire shot off from his fingertips, hanging down for a second. He concentrated on it for a moment, the ends forming into a sort of marionette figure, without much details hanging from the strings, lightly moving his hands around, making it move before it disappeared in a puff of smoke. He'd been trying to perfect it this summer. "I can't do details, or do it for very long." he said, almost sighing before smiling again. "I'll ask my mom about dropping by someday. Maybe on the weekend." he offered.

"You could have a puppet show! It would be a whole lot easier to control the puppets...as long as they didn't burn up the stage thingy." She giggle slightly thinking about that. The puppets dancing across the stage with the wooden area around them bursting into flames. "You should teach me that, then maybe we can both work at it and get better. I'm sure you just have to pay close attention." Isla mimiced the way he had his hand and one string came down from her finger tips. It hit the floor and she jumped slightly as it disappeared. "That's alot harder then it looks." She smiled slightly looking back up at him. "Just a warning, when you are practicing with me there is a really good chance you'll get burnt like fifty times, but I can heal it really easily I'm just warning you in case."

Lyna smiled as she looked at the dorm, she turnned around and waved at her friend who had dropped her off her. Grabbing her bags and trunk as she finally walked into it, placing her bags into her room before she went down to the student loungs to relax and find out where every things else was at, she ran a hand through her hair, feeling her pointted ears before she pulled her hair up into a ponytail. She wondered how Shin was doing since they had been at this school for the same amount of time but she guessed he was probable busy with the new people at the moment then he is with talking to someone like her who is just a normal student.

Shin chucked somewhat and nodded. "It's fine, I don't really get burned too much, I mean, I do but it's not as grave as for a normal person. I can feel the heat, but not get burned too badly. Depends on how hot it is and how much it's given out." he explained, he had been taken by surprise by that when he first found out. Him and his mother had been cooking, and he'd gotten to close to the fire. He had pulled back instantly since it as really hot but on closer inspection, there was no mark. He grinned somewhat and nodded. "It really is a bit hard, since you have to control how much of it is given out, and let it continue with the same amount of fire. But, I think you could do it with any element."

Aoilana walked around the campus as she watched eager and sometime confused students, rushing to their dorms. ....Ahh. well....Once we get the full staff, we can let them learn.... She sighed. All of her staff from the year before except the nurse and maybe two teachers had stayed. The rest left her to deal with the school without them. "It isn't like i couldn't run every class, but what fun is that?" She walked past the giant library. "Well...I will have to give some sort of speech again, but this time i have to let almost a hundred 'gifted' teenagers know that I am basically the only one here.....that will be fun..." She mumbled to herself.

Sophiya walked up to the entrance gates "Wow" She said sighing. She walked in the gate, and over to the buildings, trying to find the main office. When she finally found it she walked in and up to the desk "Could I please get my schedule?"she asked, then went and sat on a chair, hoping that it wouldn't take long, as she wanted to get to her room quickly to drop off her bags.

"It still hurts just as much. Trying to teach yourself to juggle with fire when you can't juggle in the first place is a really bad idea." There was a slightly embarrassed smile on her face. She looked down at her hands remebering where the burns had been, but quickly dropped them to her sides when she relized all the scars on her palms. Honestly she felt bad having a roommate who she wasn't telling everything to, but he probilly didn't want to know. "Most likely. Almost every trick can be done with all elements. It's the fighting part that is more unique to each element."

He chuckled somewhat. "Very true.. I find myself horrible with juggling." he said, his eyes having glanced at her hands, noticing the scars. He didn't ask though, not yet. "What's your favorite element?" he asked curiously. "My mother's more fond of water." he said, smirking somewhat. Then he blinked and looked at the time. "Ah, c'mon, we also have to help the new kids, look around the place and stuff." he said, nodding to the door.

"I've always liked fire, but that's because no one showed me how to use the other elements. So I don't really know." She smiled, almost forgetting there were other people. "Yeah, they might need some help. I know I needed help last year." Isla walked to the door and walked out into the hallway. "What exactly do we have to do? Show them to there rooms? Answer their questions? Be friendly? Umm...what am I missing?"

Shin nodded, walking out after her as he locked the door. "Basically. We have to maintain order as well. Make sure no fights are broken out, and if they are, we have to stop them. Basically, act like, um.. Hall Monitors?" he said, half questioning himself. They were a bit more advanced that normal hall monitors though. He tilted his head somewhat and looked around. "Well, there's a couple classes that can help you with that here, so I'm sure you're bound to get better." he replied with a small smile.

Isla didn't say anything as they walked to the office, where they had come in. As they got there she noticed one person sitting there. Where was everyone else. "Okay, I'm gonna completely fail at this." She smiled slightyly. "I'm sure you know this school like the back of your hand. I don't." Putting a happy smile on she walked over to the girl in the office. "Hey there." She said sitting next to the girl in the office. "Waiting for something?"

Shin chuckled somewhat, "Almost. But I'm sure you'll do fine." he said lightly, watching Isla help with the younger student. He looked around and spotted one of his old friends. He smirked and waved. "Hey Lyna!" he called out, looking around again. He stayed close to the other two girls, just in case something happened.

"Hi" Sophiya said to the girl who sat down beside her. " I'm Sophiya, but you can call me Sophie..." she said, smiling. she looked over to who had walked in with the girl and her jaw dropped "It can't be.." she whispered, but she still thought that it was her crush that disappeared a few years back.

"I'm Isla Caitir, pleased to meet you." She glanced back following Sophie's gaze. "That's Shin." She said waving to get his attention. "Shin, you don't have to stay. I've got this. You'll know if I need help. Oh, if more people come then I'll need help for sure. But Sophie and I are fine now. I won't burn anything to the ground." She joked looking back to Sophie, "You never said what you are waiting for."

Shin tilted his head and looked at Isla. "are you sure?" he teased. He smiled a little at the girl. "Hi there." he said. Then he nodded somewhat at the two girls. "Alright, so I'll be close by if you girls need me, just in case." he said before waving at them, heading down to the cafeteria area. He was a bit hungry.

"Im waiting for the office lady to finish printing my schedule so i can go to my room" she said, gesturing at her bags. "But, until then, im stuck here." she smiled "and it'd be better if i knew where dorm 2 is, its my first time here" She looked down, embarrassed.

"I know how you feel. It was my first time last year. Lucky for you I know right where dorm 2 is. I'd be glad to help you." At that the lady at the desk handed Sophie a key and a few papers. "Need help carrying anything?" Isla asked. The desk lady probilly was getting annoyed with them speaking so loud. So she was attempting to hurry Sophie out of the office building.

"Umm, yeah, sorta" she said taking the paper and key. she picked up two bags and slung them cross ways over her body and picked up the handles of two other bags, leaving two small bags there." Could you take them please?" Sophiya asked, struggling to stay standing as it was.

Isla covered her mouth to hide the giggle that came from her. "You pack alot of stuff!" She picked up the two bags. Is there something else I can take? You look like you're going to fall over." This girl had about 4 times the amout of stuff Isla had. Which mostlikely meant she had 50 times more stuff then Isla had ever owned in her life.

"umm, i think ill be fine, for now." Sophie said, smiling. "After you" she said, waiting at the door so she'd know where to go. "I can't believe that my parents bought me so much new stuff, just for school, they're usually so stingy." she said.
