"It would be freaky wouldn't it? But I have biology next, not chemistry. I'll still take you to the class room though. They're right next door to each other." She pulls out a handbook and opens it up to show him her schedule nestled inside.

"Well we don't have all our classes together, but it's only two that we don't. This hour you have bio and I have chemistry, and second to last period, I have a free time and you have a cooking class? I may just have to join you, I like to cook." Looking at Mirai with a smile. After this is lunch right, or is that after 4th period?"

"As long as you don't ask to try my cooking. I gave myself food poisoning the last time I cooked," she admits with a blush. There's a reason she's taking cooking, mostly because she can't do it and she wants to know how. Her grandmother isn't very good at cooking either. Grandmother says that her late Grandfather was a wonderful cook. She remembers it from when she was young, and hopes some day she can be as good as he was. Maybe better.

"Lunch is after this class. And then we'll have four more classes after lunch. Then here's club time," she explains.

"Well I am a very good cook myself, so if you ever need someone to help you I am willing to help you out. I don't mind teaching people stuff that I love to do, so feel free and ask me anytime. Seeming you are helping me so much, I don't mind one bit. My mom was the one that taught me how to cook, my father is always gone due to the fact that he is in the army and is always going out to the field and such. He is going to be here in Japan for two years so I will get to make lots of new friends and just have fun. If I like it here, I think I will move here and get a job in Japan instead of going back to the US. I don't really like living there any more with all the problems they are having. You know what I mean?" Looking at Mirai with a smile.

"I'd like to go there some day," she says. "Just to see what it's like in some place that isn't Japan. Try some different food." She opens the door to the Chemistry lab to allow him inside. "I'll come get you when class is over. Do you bring your lunch or do you need to buy some?"

"Well for today I need to buy one, but I have learned how to make a really good lunch. I will see you after class then, you have a good time okay and thank you again for being so nice to me. I was worried that I was going to have a hard time making friends." Ryuu looked at Mirai and smiled.

"I don't think you have anything to worry about," she says. "I'll take you to the cafeteria after this. Don't wander off ok?" She waves before disappearing and heading to her own class.

Ryuu goes to class and nothing really happens. Chemistry went really quickly and he left the class right away and waited for Mirai to get done with her class.

It takes a few minutes, but Mirai appears in the crowd. "Ready for lunch?" She asks, waving him over. "Do you need to go anywhere else or just want to head to the cafeteria?"

"Nope, we can just go to the cafeteria, so what clubs are you in? I would like to find a few clubs to join seeming I am new to the school." Looking at Mirai "I would also like to find a little bit more about you seeming we are going to be seeing a lot of each other now." Ryuu smiles and thinks to himself "Maybe some day we could possibly even date each other, who knows."

"I'm in the Occult Club, of course, and I'm in the Cooking Club. It helps me get more practice," she explains as they head downstairs to the Cafeteria. It was pretty noisy with so many people sitting around chatting and eating and others walking between the tables, while others waited in the line for food. "I'm going to get a strawberry milk. Do you want anything from the drink machine? I'll get it while you wait in line."

"Hmmmm, chocolate milk would be fine, and I would like to hear more about your club and maybe I should join the cooking club with you to help you out." Ryuu chuckles. Waiting in line for food just looking around and seeing all the new faces. People walking past just looking at him, guys giving mixed looks due to how good he looked and over hearing people say stuff like wow a new guy, and wonder if he has a girlfriend or not kind of comments. "I can tell this is going to be just like any other school, people wondering about the "NEW" guy and what he is like." Ryuu thinks to himself. "I wonder what is taking Mirai so long, must be a line for the drink machine too." He thinks to himself.

The first machine is out of chocolate milk and Mirai has to get in line for the second machine. But soon enough she reappears with their drinks and waits at the end of the line for Ryuu to join her.

Ryuu walks back by Mirai "Wow this lunch room is so busy, I think I'm going to start just making my lunches from now on. Seems like that would be a much better idea." Ryuu looks at Mirai "I wonder if I should make her one too, she is being so nice to me and all." Ryuu thinks to himself "So what is it that you do in the Occult club Mirai? I am quite interested to hear all about your club." Ryuu looks at her with a smile.

Mirai nods in agreement. She tends to make onigiri for lunch. It's one of the few things she can make without much cooking knowledge. Let the rice cooker do the work, put a little tuna inside and then wrap a piece of nori around it. She likes to bring furikake to sprinkle on them too. Sometimes, she'll make a sandwich if she's in the mood for something different.

"Oh," she says as he turns to her favorite subject of all. "We do lots of things! We do card readings and tell ghost stories and use a ouijae board to contact spirits. We've gone to haunted places and done tests of courage. We even have a crystal ball! Though no one's been able to get a good reading yet." She happily rattles about poltergeists and spirits as she leads him up to the third floor to a door near the end of the building. "This is our unofficial meeting place. For club meetings we go to the art room with our club advisor, but we'll meet here on off days.

The room was on the small side, shoved full of forgotten desks and book shelves that had gathered dust and cobwebs. A few books and magazines were stacked neatly on the bookshelf, curiously free of dust. Dim light managed to press through the dirty window to illuminated the dust motes dancing in the air. The only clean surface in the room was a small round table with a black table cloth. A cracked crystal ball sat on a stand in the center of the table.

"Looks like nobody's here today. I hope you're not allergic to dust like Kamiya-kun. He wears a mask in here and sneezes a lot." She giggles. "Have a seat." She waves to a chair at the table before seating herself and pulling out her bento box.

"Thank you Mirai, and no I am not allergic to dust. I now see your problem, the crystal ball is cracked. I like the atmosphere in this room. Feels like a good place to do a club like this. If you ever do a test of courage again I wouldn't mind doing it myself." Ryuu looked at Mirai with that look of I want in. "It sounds like a lot of fun and why not try something new for a change. I hope to meet all of the other members soon, I would really like that." Ryuu smiles at Mirai. "I know how to make some stuff like that, my friend had this cookbook back home called the manga cookbook. It had stuff like that in there. So I have tried some bento stuff myself too."

"I can make onigiri," she says, taking out her carefully wrapped rice balls. "But I'm not too good at most other stuff. It's an easy lunch to pack." She shakes her milk before poking the straw into the top.

"So you like scary things? Do you consider yourself brave or are you really a scaredy cat?" She asks. "Because I can't bring just any old guy on a test of courage. You might cry," she teases.

Ryuu looks at her with a grimace on his face "Come on, haunted houses don't scare me. What kind of guy would I be if I couldn't at least be some what brave at times." He chuckles a little. "Well my buddies once dared me to sleep over night in this abandoned house, so I did. They stayed outside taking turns watching if I was in there. I slept the whole night away. It was so easy. They never told me I couldn't sleep though. Their mistake not mine."

"Well that doesn't seem like much fun. You probably slept through all of the exciting haunting stuff! What if a ghost floated by? You wouldn't notice if you were asleep! I'd stay up alllll night!" She announces. Then she pauses. "As long as someone was with me." Because while she loves the occult, sometimes it still scares her. She likes talking about ghosts and hauntings and stuff, but if something happened while she was alone she would probably scream. If someone was with her, she'd start inspecting whatever it was to see how it worked.

"Well you make a good point. Would you want to go with me some time, and set the rule that we have to stay awake all night? I think it would be fun, and who knows we may see a ghost or two. You would like that, get the chance to study a ghost and all? I think it would be kind of weird if you ask me, ghosts don't exist." Looking at Mikai like he wanted to ask that instead.

"Oh! That reminds me. What about that freaky thing before? Do you think we saw a ghost then? In the middle of class?" She asks, excited.

"I don't think that was a ghost so much, maybe a spirit of some kind. Even if it was, that was kind of weird don't you think? I wonder when we will get to find our first shard. It may be hard, the spirit said something about fighting off feinds. I wonder what it was talking about. If we have to fight, I don't really have a problem. I took fencing in my last school and I know martial arts too. So I hope what ever we are fighting isn't to hard to defeat." Ryuu looks at Mirai with a look of concern.

"Don't look at me like I can't defend myself," Mirai says. "I've taken some Aikido. I'm pretty good at throwing. But..maybe that's no good against fiends? That would mean I'd have to touch them to throw them. I guess it's not the best defense against a demon. I'll have to practice making charms to ward off evil then. My calligraphy is a little wobbly, but I think I can still make some good charms."

"Well, if you would like I could help you learn more martial arts. I have a black belt in taekwondo, so if you would like some training in it I could. I was lucky, when my father was in South Korea. I had a teacher that did private lessons, so I learned from a master of taekwondo, I learned really fast. I trained every day too. It was so much fun and I also won a few tournaments. So do you want me to teach you?" Ryuu looks at Mirai hoping she will say yes.

"Maybe," she says. "I took Aikido because I'm not good with violence, but it's always good to know how to defend yourself. But it's different with ghosts. Maybe we'll get magical items like in Sailor Moon!" She grins. "I might get a special locket or something. Oh. I wonder if we should make costumes of if we'll get magical costumes as well!" Her eyes were suspiciously sparkley as she imagined the possibilities.
