Kail's world was spinning so much, he couldn't actually see anything but blurs. Sitting down helped though. He had trouble hearing but managed to get the message. "My name is..." He paused for a minute. 'What is my name... It's...' It seemed as if a small voice whispered the answer inside him. "Kail." He said at last. His vision became less blurry but it was still very disorienting. "Thank you... Sunny?" Not trying to stumble about was making him feel a lot better and think more clearly. "If you could just re...re..." 'What was the word? ...Retie!' "...retie the bandage... I couldn't quite tie it r-right at this angle..."

Resa stopped, she heard voices. 'Just how many people are there?' she thought, looking around. "Do you hear them, the voices?" she asked Lynne.
Resa started forward again, this time in the direction of the voices. Her sword loose in her hand but ready to fight if needed.

Lynne listened carefully. Yes. Voices. At least 3 different voices, talking. Were these just the other people on the island Resa had mentioned earlier? Or maybe something worse?
Against her will, Lynne followed Resa towards the voices.
"They're probably just the other people on the island," Lynne whispered, more bravely than she felt

"I hope they are other people, maybe they might know where we are... or they're jsut as lost as we are" Resa whispered. She slowed her steps, taking care not to step on crunchy leaves or twigs that might snap. She didn't want to make a noise and alert whoever was talking just up ahead. Staying hidden by the trees and bushes Resa peeked through and saw three people, two surrounding the third which seemed to be hurt. She turned to Lynne and beckoned for her to come silently over, pointing to the scene of the three humans.

Lynne took a deep breath and followed Resa through the trees. There were two people who seemed to be healing a third. The last person looked badly injured. What had happened? Lynne wondered briefly if there were any wild animals in the forest before shaking the terrifying thought from her head. The person might have tripped or something, She thought. But it was unlikely.

"Yeah, hold on," Sunny said, reaching over to retie the bandage. Kayen came back over seconds later, frowning.
"I can't find anything that might be at all useful," she said, hands on her hips. "Sunny, you wouldn't happen to be a boy scout or anything would you?"
"No, sorry," he said with a laugh. "Even if I was, this could be a completely different world. They might not have the same plants." he looked over at Kail, a curious expression on his face. "You wouldn't happen to know where we are, would you?" his hopes weren't very high, seeing as the boy was injured and barely seemed to be able to remember his name.

Kail tried as hard as he could to remember but wasn't sure if he really didn't know or not. He shook his head. "Sorry. I don't remember much before waking up here." He looked up into the sky. The orange sky was pretty, but it was getting darker. 'It's a good thing I found someone before it got dark.' After the bandage was retied properly, Kail grabbed a large stick off the ground and used it to help him get up. He was a bit dizzy, but doing well for his condition. "I think I'll be okay... We'd better get ready for the night. Tomorrow we'll need to find some food and..." He couldn't think of the word for a moment. "...water." He said it as if it was an unfamiliar word he was merely repeating after someone else had used it.

Resa listened to them as they talked. 'They don't know where we are either... we all just woke up here' she thought, frowning. She stepped out into the clearing where they were. "Hi, I'm Resa" she said, holding out the hand that didn't have her sword in it 'I really need to get something so I don't always have to carry my sword...' she thought."Oh and before you ask, I don't know where we are either, I woke up here too"

Startled by the sudden entrance, Kail prepared to fight. It made him a bit dizzy to suddenly react like that, but he pulled it off. He looked suspiciously at the offered hand, then at the sword. He glared at her, allowing his red eyes to pierce her's. He relaxed. She hadn't been noticed and was armed. If she had wanted to kill them, she easily could have, but she instead came with an offer of peace. Besides, he doubted that, in his condition, he could do anything to protect himself. Kail looked down at his hand, still stained with blood, and decided it would be best not to shake her hand. "I'm Kail. This here is..." It took him a second to remember. "S-Sunny... and Kayen." 'Well, at least I can remember their names. Also, the world doesn't spin anymore so, I think I'm getting better.' He looked back at Resa. "Do you know of any place to stay tonight? It's getting dark and I'm not sure what roams around at night."

Resa's eyes met Kail's and glared back. When she saw him relax she did as well.
"It's nice to meet you three" she said, glancing over to Sunny and Kayen, acknowledging them with a nod and a smile.
"We're not sure where we can all stay tonight yet. I know there are at least 3 others, I ran into them already. We were heading back to where I saw them before haring you three," she said, looking back at Lynne, "I was thinking maybe we can find a tall tree to climb to look at the surroundings or something, so we can map out the area."

Kail looked uneasy. Climbing a tree was the last thing he wanted to do right now. "Uh... sure, but I'll stay on the ground for now. " He smiled nervously. 'Well, having someone with a sword with us should provide some protection.' Kail wasn't really sure what to say. Social interactions weren't his strong point, his general experience with people were that they thought of him as a freak. He was glad, though, that no one had made a big deal out of it. 'Either these people are used to seeing strange things or they were brought up very well.' "We'd better get moving then. If the sun sets, we wont be able to see anything, and I don't really want to be stranded here in the middle of nowhere."

Resa let out a little laugh, "yeah I think you might want to stay on ground for a while" she agreed. Looking up she saw the orange glow fading from the clouds, "yep it's going to set very soon we'd better get moving... we should probably find dry sticks we can use to make a fire so we have light after sunset" she said, turning around to start walking from where they had come, towards where she met the other three.

Kail followed Resa into the woods. "Have you ever started a fire with just sticks before?" Kail couldn't quite remember if he himself had ever tried it but he didn't think he had. Kail looked up. The darkening sky made him nervous and he began to look around and be more alert, all of which wasn't helping his headache.

Lynne stared in surprise at Kail. He had seemed so war-like and dangerous with all his wounds before, but now Lynne realised he was actually quite nice. Silently, nodded at Resa and Kail as they left to get firewood.
"I'll-- I'll make a cabin or something with leaves and twigs. Anything that might keep out a draft. I'm not an expert, but I think I can make a small shelter for us," Lynne said, turning and scanning the underbrush. There were ferns here and there-- they would work well enough for a roof. And maybe she would drape it over a large branch as support... Lynne looked around. There. A huge branch sticking out at ninety degrees from an oak's trunk. "That should be fine..." She muttered to herself. Then she got to work on the hut.
