[[Sorry guys, but it is entirely my fault this thread has died down some. I'm not sure how often I'll be on mene from now until December. My classes this quarter require a lot of reading and assignments. In addition to that, I have a job now which steals at least eight hours of my time away. Alongside that job, I'm a chair holder in two on campus organizations, both which also require my presence for at least an hour or more each. With my weekends being filled with club activities and volunteering, I literally have no time for mene (but I shall make time for the sake of you guys and this awesome roleplay). And to just add on all that lovely chaos, I'm still having issues in the relationship department. I just have no luck when it comes to males. So I'm dealing with emotional swings and such. I blame myself for all my issues. Ha ha. I was the genius that decided to get a job, add on another major, and then become a chair holder in two clubs. Wavi likes to keep herself busy. ^^; Anyways, I hope you enjoy this up and coming post. I'm making it juicy just for you all. I also hope none of you mind that I'm adding another character. They're more of a mystery though, so there will not be a bio up just yet.]]

Crouching low in the underlying brush, a pair of golden jade eyes glared at the surrounding earth that crumbled just below his jawline. The sick aroma of freshly disturbed soil crept into his noise and caused a light wrinkle to form at the base of the nose. Without making a sound, what should have been a loud sneeze was muffled and turned into nothing but dead silence. Perfecting the art of hunting, or perhaps stalking, the figure shifted his weight onto his knees. With a quick jerk back, he scaled down a little slope that overlooked the beach where a mob of lost souls wandered.

They looked so... innocent. Perhaps too innocent. But was that possible? Was that really such a title - too innocent? Weren't all minds at least plagued once within a lifetime? But if too innocent weren't real, then that would make all newborns fresh from a mother's womb (or maybe a petri dish). Is it possible for be born corrupt? Ah, that question still lingers in the air today. Some debate that all men (and women) are born evil and society changes them to be a better person. Others will argue otherwise and say we are all born good, but the dark ways of society (known as politics) corrupts the innocent mind.

Eyes reverting back to the stranded passengers of what appeared to be a plane crash, the dark blonde male questioned his true intentions. Was he there to kill them? Why if he was, that was exerting far too much effort. Surely the natives would do that. But, what if he were to be their hero. What a wondrous thought that was. However, not wanting to have a fanclub, the male opted for a third option. This one was far more entertaining than the previous. Dark thoughts of a much more ingenious level swarmed him as he let his devious mind do some more calculating and analyzing.

Drawing a step closer, he sniffed in their scent of fear. It was delightful to see them so alert and yet, so defenseless. Had he been a bad man (who's to say he still isn't), he would have jumped them then and there. Killing not only the survivors of the crash, but also the hunters that hid in the woods. They were lousy at hiding. Training by the United States Army himself, the male was a professional at hiding. Not only that, but he was a highly ranked officer that later ended up working with the CIA. Skilled, talented, and extremely good at his job, a small, yet dangerously cruel smile appeared on his charming face.

The snapping of a twig to his left sent the male dodging toward the right. If he were found out, it would ruin everything. He would have no choice but to unleash hell on everyone. Thankfully, he maneuvered his way safely away from the persons intruding his space. Rolling his eyes, he saw Varick and his little pet Azra step into view. Rather than sticking around for the juicy romantic conversation, he slipped back into the shadows and went toward his underground hideout.

Circling the area several times before opening the hatch to his home, the green eyed male ruffled some leaves about the area and made sure his traps were still fully functional and, most importantly, lethal. A light tug on a rope caused a little gap to appear between his feet and the roots of an overgrown tree. The large looping vines made the rope practically invisible, so finding the right one was easier said than done. Seeing as he was a master, the male had no issue finding his tool and successfully opened up a doorway that was under thick root that jutted up from the ground. Down on all fours, he snake crawled into the hole and found himself spinning around to travel feet first down a twenty foot drop.

With each step downward, his mud covered boots made a light pinging sound with the metal rungs that miraculously supported his weight. Now, he wasn't heavy or anything, the rungs were just simply corroded and brittle from many years of water damage and misuse.

When his feet grazed the ground, his eyes had to adjust to the darkness that engulfed him. If he had a fear of the dark or tight places, he surely would have gone mad. Thankfully, this male was trained for just about anything. Living in the dark, it wasn't something he fussed about. Besides, he did have himself some electricity, which he harnessed from the sun. Meaning, he created his own make-shift solar panels.

Lights coming on, he strolled up to a large blackboard. Written on it were the names of the natives. Now, now that there were newcomers on his island, the male had his work cut out for him. Ah, but it wasn't too hard. After all, he was here first and he did have wires all over the place. Within time, he would know everything he wanted and he would know a lot more than anyone could ever expect. Leaning his butt up against a wooden table, a cackling sound escaped from his throat. Echoing down the eerie halls of his home, the male's demonic nature began to emerge. Who he was and what he was planning was all still just a part of the dark. In time, the survivors and original inhabitants would be exposed to his ploy and become mere puppets in his wicked game. But until then, the male remained a hidden master in the shadows, lurking here and there, forever stalking his all too clueless pray.

Pushing his hair back, Varick cringed at the thought of seeing Azra get nasty. If she were to lock her darker more sadistic nature, it might ruin all the fun for him. Granted, being seduced by her would be entertaining, but it just wasn't going to end too well especially if she was planning on loading his body with lovely little bullet holes.

Turning his attention toward the right, he shrugged at what he thought was to be the presence of a ghost. A chill ran down his back, but it soon vanished. His attention was directed back toward his gorgeous counterpart. "He's an odd fellow. I can't make him out. Is he stupid? Or just plain dumb?" Laughing lightly, he helped aid his friend down to a lower overlook. "This is the ideal perch. Good thing our inside girl knows we'll be up here. It'll prevent them from ever coming here." With another quick smile, he rested his heavy head on her shoulders. Today was going to be a long, boring day. Stalking survivors. Happy, happy joy, joy. Something Varick wasn't really a fan of, per say. Either way, he was with Azra and wasn't about to forfeit a date with her.

Neal jumped when his ex spoke to him. He honestly didn't think she would converse with him, but, seeing as she did, he couldn't help but smile. "You never cease to amaze me. You have no idea how envious I am of your soul. It's far more pure than my own." Even though his words were merely words, they were spoken with a hint of sincerity and passion. Even though their relationship ended bitterly, Neal still yearned for her friendship. She was one of the few people out there Neal would even open up to and, by being a complete fool, he ruined everything.

When she stammered out the question of where they were, Neal didn't have some snappy comment. He was typically known for his comebacks and witty jokes, but there were genially lost. Now was not the time for joking and sarcasm. Sighing, he rolled his shoulders back. "Hell if I know. But I know we are someone in the Atlantic Ocean. Not sure where though. But, by the end of this week, I should have a better idea. I'll use the sun and stars to help give me a more precise pinpoint location. If I were to guess, I'd say we're north of the equator, putting us somewhere near North America. Sadly, I don't know much more. I'll do my best, but I can't make any promises that I'll be able to figure out our location. I can ballpark it... I hope."

Azra grinned when she saw Varick cringe slightly. She had a feeling it had to do with herself. The girl loved her many reputations that she earned. There were many sides to Azra. Guns were her babies, expecially the rifle, and she loved using them. "I guess we will find out what one he is. Hopefully soon." She replied as she let Varick help her down. When he let go of her she ran her hand down his arm. After he put his head on her shoulder Azra grinned then started to run her fingers through his hair. "I should have brought my rifle...but I thought that if we got caught it would be kind of hard to explain it away. Not that will get caught, if Nessa likes to be alive she wont let us." Azar spoke the last in a darker tone than the playful one she was using earlier.

------------

Listening to Neal and Siami, Nessa sat quiet and watched them. But she didn't make it obvious that she was studying how they acted and how they talked. The Spy just looked like a normal person as they watch people discuss things. Her eyes flirted back and forth as she listened.

((Oh Wavikz its totally cool! Now we understand^_^ That is a huge load you took on!!!! I hope everything works out and you find a balance!!))

Arwenna Ddrwg
The Negotiator

Turning, slowly and quietly, the young woman moved away from the beach. She averted her eyes as if there was something indecent. For her there was. This wen against every single one of her principles; Arwenna just wanted to run down to the beach and offer her help. But that was against the order. She didn't have the guts or the courage to defend people physically. She could only use her words.

As Arwenna was just about to slink off like an injured cat, the hairs at the nape of her neck prickled. It felt wrong. She crawled back to the edge of the cliff, taking care to not lose the brown-green rag around her hair. Her hair colour was too colourful to fit with the woods. She had pinned the cloth down, to keep it in her hair, and pressed her torso onto the ground to get a better look.

Suddenly, she was afraid. More afraid than she had been when she first met the Scientist. Arwenna was just a young woman. She was alone, and only had a small dagger to defend herself. She lacked the fearlessness of her friends. She felt like a massive thing would pounce on her. Her pulse was quickening, and Arwenna tried to tell herself that she would be fine. She took slow, silent breaths and steadied herself. She closed her eyes, and tried to let the absolute darkness calm her as much as possible. She didn't like the fact that she was observing pain, and not helping. Years of working in LEDC's had made her more caring, and a little vulnerable.

((Ugh, now I feel horribly guilty. Sorry. )';
And not my best post every. Sorry.))

Saeng Suramongkol

Saeng sighed deeply. Being the only person in the group of plane crash survivors who didn't speak straight English was going to be a very big problem. The worst part was that she couldn't get any reception on her cell phone. She cursed in Thai and spat on the ground, stalking off with her bag. Her sandals sunk into the sand with every step, and she eventually got so frustrated she took them off. In front of her, there was a rope. She stepped over it, and almost continued walking if it weren't for the huge net enveloping her. She screeched and flailed around, only getting herself tangled in the net. "Anybody help?" She called, hoping her English sounded okay, at least for now.

-----x-----

Aarani Icilio Ryan
Aarani sighed. The Asian girl wasn't what he was expecting to catch. Her bad English often made little sense for the couple minutes he sat and listened to her try to piece out little sentences. He backed into the brush, wanting to inform the others about this. He didn't have anything to do with the girl anyhow - she couldn't speak English, so he figured she would have no idea what the other crash survivors were up to at this point in time.

[[ Sorry about the short intros. D; Not much floating through my head yet. ]]

Arwenna Ddrwg
The Negotiator

Arwenna heard some rustling, some garbled words of a different language and then her brain linked up the puzzle before her eyes saw who it was. The Trapper, of course. She scolded herself for being so afraid. So frightened of something unknown. The human mind always fears the unknown, she argued back and left it at that. It was true, and she knew she was right.

Keeping low, continuously, she scurried towards a likely looking group of plants, prefect to observe but not be seen. Her eyes strained in search of a familiar face. She sometimes wished that she had eagle eyes like the Sniper, but then decided differently. What if she saw things that she wouldn't have seen usually? things she didn't like.
Arwenna hoped that she was right, and that it was the Trapper. She kneeled behind a gathering of bushes, and stared into the leaves, hoping to find him. She began to feel a little calmer, as if the mere idea that a friend was near was enough to calm her thumping heart. She did, however, keep a hand on the knife on her belt.
Arwenna's mind was restless, still screaming that something was wrong. She disregarded it, focussing on the green foliage. She was glad to have been saved, but sometimes she didn't agree with the bloodthirstiness of her new family. Nathaniel scared her sometimes, she didn't want to go near him when she was alone. Maybe it was those ice cold eyes, or maybe the fact that he seemed ready to poison someone, just to see how they tried to struggle and fight it off.

A small girl ran silently through the thick foliage of the island. She had abandoned her shoes a while back and now had them tied at her waist by the laces. They had been far too noisy for what she was doing now, especially since she was so close to the survivors now. A group had been dispatched earlier to check on them, but Faline was growing impatient and had sent her sister to see what was going on.

Rory was the youngest, putting her sister as just before her. Yet, even with them being the youngest on the island they were still respected and Faline was still feared. Of course it may or may not have helped that her sister had proved a numbers of times that she wasn't one to mess with. The girls' bright eyes quickly darted into the branches of the trees where she saw a small group of her pack. Running up to the tree, she quickly grabbed the lowest branch and pulled herself up in stride with her run.

She perched herself next to Varick as she stared out through the branches to the group that was slowly collecting itself. "She is wondering what is taking so long," she said, her voice barely above a whisper as her eyes remained on the group before them. "She appears to be more anxious with this group than the others for some reason." Rory was aware of the small numbers around her, she was also aware of who those people were seeing as they were the usual group.

Aarani Icilio Ryan
The Trapper

. Aarani stopped where he was. He felt a wave of paranoia hit him, and he crouched as soundlessly as he could. His blue eyes searched the bushes around him, and he almost cursed himself for staying in an area that was so well guarded by trees and bushes. He never thought that he would be the one being attacked. The Trapper was trapped. How lovely.
. But who else knew to hide behind the bushes? Certainly not one of the survivors. They never knew anything except for how to fix computers and paint, or some other thing of the sort. The thought of one of his friends hiding in the bushes traveled across his mind. The Scientist? The Hunter? But why would they be hiding? Wouldn't they know it was he?
. "Who is it? Surely you don't plan to ambush me," he spoke clearly, just loud enough to be heard. Slowly he crept forward, brushing his hand against his side, learning that he had forgotten to bring his dagger. He mentally cursed, but kept his hand in the same spot, hoping that this person would see him and think he had it. If this person wasn't one of his friends, and so happened to be trained in some sort of fighting technique, he was screwed.

Arwenna Ddrwg
The Negotiator

Arwenna stood up, moving away from the bush, and rose her hands in front of her, palms upwards. "It's me." She said softly, her voice quiet and controlled. Her lips barely moved as she spoke, and her eyes were fixed on the man in front of her. A wave of relief crashed over her, and she felt at home again. "I did not mean to cause disruption, but I felt like someone had just walked over my grave." She spoke monotonously, and despite the time she had been on the island, she still had her British accent.
The Negotiator moved closer to the Trapper, slowly and cautiously. Her chocolate eyes glittered slightly as she observed his stance and body language. She made a soft shushing sound, a calming and harmless sound that blended in with the sounds of the forest around them. "Again, my apologies, but I was frightened." She admitted, a little sheepishly. She kept her hands out, and cocked her head to one side slightly, exposing a vulnerable point in her neck. She had learnt a lot in her Pyschology course, learnt to interpret signals and sent out the correct ones to influence and/or inflict thoughts on her neighbours. It worked, and right now Arwenna was showing signs of helplessness; of vulnerability.

Aarani Icilio Ryan
The Trapper
. Aarani stood quietly, seeing her before he heard her. "-I was frightened," she was saying in that British accent of hers that he loved. He gave her one glance before allowing a half smile. He turned slightly, showing off his hip where his dagger belt should have been. The action conveyed what could have been spoken: "That's good, because I didn't have my dagger and I most likely would have been screwed," or something along those lines. He pointed in the direction of the net where the girl was still tied, then made a motion towards his mouth and in the direction of where the others were, and then walked off at a pace that would be easy for her to catch up to. Hopefully, she got his meaning.

-----x-----

Saeng Suramongkol
The Foreign Tourist
. Saeng was pretty much in a knot, excuse the pun, thank you. She had been calling for some time now, and then decided to keep quiet. She rattled off in Thai about going home, and the likes. If she ever got off this island, she would first learn English and then go back to Thailand, where she would plan on staying for pretty much the rest of her life. Of course, if she didn't get out of this net, she wouldn't have a life to look forward to.
. "Anybody? Help Saeng please. Saeng caught in net. Help! Please!" She began calling again, louder with each word. She took deep breaths in between her sentences, and very long ones to make short high-pitched screams. Hopefully someone will come, she thought in Thai. Hopefully . . .

Arwenna Ddrwg
The Negotiator

Arwenna nodded, a little hesitantly. It was hard to tell, but to her it seemed like he was indicating her to follow him. His pace was alright, she could catch up, but she was also sure that there was something else to do. Looking back at the screaming girl, she thought. If they find her, and see the trap, it'll be suspicious. Am I meant to cut her loose? I will cut her lose. Let her scurry around like a frightened doe. Agreeing to do so, Arwenna pulled the knife out of its sheath and worked at the rope. It took a few minutes, but it broke, and Arwenna heard a loud crash. She turned and followed Aarani.
"I cut her loose. Were she found by the others, trapped, they would suspect us." She whispered, barely audible over the din of the forest. She managed to catch up, but she had to put more effort in. Aarani's long strides were twice as long as Arwenna's steps. It was often so, for Arwenna seemed to be the runt of the tribe.

Aarani Icilio Ryan
The Trapper

. Aarani heard the crash from where he was, and paused before continuing on. In what seemed like no time at all, Arwenna had caught up to him. He strained to hear her, and then nodded, showing he understood, and took a shortcut through an open field of grass. Really, all he wanted to do was get back to his little hut building. Nothing more, nothing less.
