Rivka didn’t notice when Luca sulked away, nor did she notice the beautiful elf sneered at her. All she was focused on was the creature in front of her. She had never heard of a Chimera before and that brought up another question of how he could have three different types of blood if he could only have two parents. Rivka slowly walked around the boy as she examined him. He didn’t look that tough (at least not to a magical being) but something about him still infuriated her. However, because he was not a real vampire, or at least a full vampire, she decided that it would be a bad idea to add anymore to the conflict. “You are interesting, correct?” She said all the glimmer had left her eyes as she stared at the demon hard. Rivka bit her lip as she continued her train of thought. That magazine had said something about ‘walking away’ when faced with a ‘conflict’, should she just try to avoid the Chimera boy?
Malcom felt a small creature bump into him and he assumed it was just some cat, he was very surprised when he looked down and there was a small girl trying to get his attention. She was cute for a little girl but he wondered why such a young looking student attended school there, it was a high school after all. He could use this to play up his act though. “Oh, sorry, Doll!” He started as he leaned over to be closer to the girl’s face. “The Administration office is down that sidewalk and the first building on your left.” He motioned down a sidewalk with his large hand to emphasis the point. Hopefully he would get a few points for helping a girl in need. And that’s when he saw him. Luca was also walking towards the cafeteria like Malcom and his girls were. And he was such an easy target…

Luca met eyes with Malcom and started to walk faster. Perhaps if he dissapeared around the corner he could dodge Malcom altogether. He really really hoped that the little angel girl was enough to distract him. The by started to jog away only to accidently bump one of his wings into trophy case by one of the walls. He tripped and fell to the floor. There were of course others that snickered at him as they walked by, but really all he wanted to do was get away from Malcom as fast as he could. He tried to get up, but one of his hurt knees brought him back to the ground. "Great" HE muttered to himself.
--
Lisell looked over the girl talking to Malcom with judging eyes. She didnt know what to make of her yet and she knew that if she made the wrong move now it would come back to haunt her. She decided to not say anything to the angel and wait patiently until she was gone. IF she became a problem later than she would deal with it when necessary. She noticed Luca in the distance and turned to her friends. "Geez its that stalker again." Lisell never really knew why she didnt like Luca except for the fact that he was a social out cast. He didnt fit in so she automatically threw him out. Lisell was part of Lucas problems at school, but he did it in such a way that he never knew about it. Rumors ran around the school that he was the son of a very poor sooth sayer and everyone knew that soothsayers had no magic that could hurt others or defend themselves. They were practically useless.

Celia sat on the edge of her bed she was tired after putting all her things away. She sighed and stood up putting her back pack on and her camera around her neck. "New place new photos." She thought to herself, she was trying to convince herself to leave her dorm room and go out to explore.
Celia cringed remembering how sad her mother was when her father told her she'd have to go to this school and be away from them. She could feel the sadness setting in, sadness was one of the hardest emotions to shake off. She quickly chanted "Happy happy happy." trying her hardest to make her own emotions. Luckily for her it worked and she was out the door off to see all the new things the school had in store for her.

Ariana followed where the boy was telling her to go and she looked in that direction. "Oh, thank you very much, Mister... umm, what's your name?" She asked in a soft voice until she noticed a bit of tension in the air around her. Ariana closed her eyes and concentrated, pulling negative emotions away and leaving behind a very calm atmosphere. "Well, I should get to the office to find out what kind of classes I'll be taking." She said with a smile as she walked away from the group. She didn't bother looking back, for she was afraid they'd realize she left them feeling calmer.
***
Lazareth watched the girl a bit, but he wasn't really concerned with what she was doing. "Umm, I'm not sure I know what you mean." He said calmly, still keeping his hands in his pockets. "Oh uh, my name is Lazareth. Technically I have three names, but Lazareth comes first, so I guess you could call me that." He said to her. "What's your name?"

Celia looked at her map and then around the long hallway. "Hmm well I should probably go to the main office first." It took her about 5 minutes to get there. it wasn't a long walk but she keeped stopping to look around every corner. Celia saw a girl hearding in the same direction so she ran up to her. "Hi are you going to the main office?" she asked happly as she walked beside the girl. The girl seemed really calm so she was happy to talk to her and happy that the school wasn't full of people flying off the handle all the time like at her old school.

Rivka pursed her lips. It was polite to respond to Lazareth, but she didn't really want to. "I am Rivka, the daughter of Asher." She gave a slight bow with her head. The witch wasn't quite sure what she should say next. Should she leave? They had exchanged names so didn't that mean that they were now friends? Rivka didn't like the thought of that but she kept telling herself that he was very little, if any, a vampire so he was acceptable. "We are friends now, correct?" Her voice wasn't as bubbly as it had been when she was talking with Luca but it wasn't full of disgust either. "I am not supposed to kiss you, correct?"
Malcom didn't stay around to tell the little girl his name, instead he took off at full speed to catch up with Luca whom he had seen trotting away. It only took a second to find the social reject laying on the floor. He was so clumsy it almost made Malcom's job as a bully too easy. Almost. "Hey there, Puke-a." Malcom leaned over the smaller boy with a menacing grin on his face. Half of the fun was tormenting Luca without touching him.

Luca was scooting across the floor trying to get away from the giant. "Heyyyyy Malcom.... How's it going." He was obviously trembling, but Luca tried to hide it... Horribly. He didnt even have the bravery to get up. It just made Luca easier to carry off to hell. "Uh what brings you this way... friend?" He smiled up at Malcom half heartedly.
Luca remembered bringing up Malcom in one of his conversations with his dad. Of course he told him to fight back, but in a way that wouldnt kill anyone. Luca didnt feel right using any of his powers. Messing with souls is a very risky business and he didnt want to actually kill anyone. Even Malcom who deserved so much more than death right now.
--
Lisell watched the angel as she left. She was feeling a little bit better for some reason. The elf turned to her friends. "Lets wait in the cafeteria while Malcom finished talking to his friend." Everyone giggled, but Lisell. She was a elf of the light and was supposed to care about all living things. It would usually really really bug her if Malcom would beat up others, but when it was Luca she didnt care. He didnt seem like a proper life form anyway.

((I'm really sorry I haven't been around. I would have told you ahead of time if I knew I wasn't going to be here but a lot of things simply sprang up this week and I got too busy to get online. I usually always find time to get on and post, so I'm really sorry about that. ^ ^;; ))
Ariana looked over at the girl who approached her and smiled brightly. "Yes, I am headed in that direction." She said calmly, her tone very light and happy. "I am Ariana Silvaen. What is your name?" She asked, her speech was considerably formal for someone who looked no older than sixteen. Ariana was seventeen, at least, she had been told that when the Order found her.
***
Lazareth took one hand out of his pants pocket and rubbed the back of his head. Friends? She thought that because they knew each other's names that they were friends? He bit the right corner of his lower lip. "Umm, I suppose if you want to look at it that way, that's fine." He said. "I don't really have any friends though. I'm guessing you haven't been in this world very long, though." He looked beyond her, down the hall where two people stood, well, one person was standing over the other. "Umm, isn't that your, uhh, other friend? Looks like he's in a little spot of trouble." Lazareth said a little too calmly.

Malcom chuckled as he pulled Luca to his feet with one big pull. “Hey there, buddy,” he teased as he wrapped his arm around the smaller boy tightly. “I was just about to ask you that!” He snickered as he roughly pulled Luca closer. Malcom enjoyed the fear that Luca felt because it made him feel in charge and powerful. And the best part was that he didn’t even really have to do anything! He was just that intimidating that people felt the urge to tremble before his might!
Rivka blinked a few times. Did no one at this school have friends? Oh well, more friends for her to make! “Looks like we are friends then!” Her mood had improved since their first encounter as she now chirped happily and the sparkle was back in her eyes. It was only when Lazareth pointed down the hallway and she saw Luca with another boy did he feel it; a stab of jealousy hit her right in the chest. Luca had another friend and it wasn’t her! She grabbed onto Lazareth’s arm and pulled him down the hallway to confront Luca.

Luca could hardly move in his own direction. Not only was Malcom pulling him into him, but his wings were unballancing and pulling his back to the side towards malcom. He was trying to push away, but it was impossible. "Blasted wings." He mumbled under his breath. "I was on my way to the cafeteria, but i think it would be better to go eat in my own room now." Luca was still trying to pull away, but to no avail. He saw Rivka approaching and just gave up trying to get away. There was nothing he could do but watch the impending doom approach him.
--
Lisell saw from a distance the play unfold. She laughed at it. The elf wondered what this new girl was going to do. She seemed to have a connection with the stalker, but didnt seem to know all the details of how the world worked. It would be fun to torture if she really did have a connection to Luca. Of course everyone associated to the kid would endure some sort of discomfort. Lisell laughed at Luca. He was so pathetic.

Waltz skipped along the hallway to the dorm rooms, trying to step on every swirling cloud that her brain created. It was kind of like stepping stones, she thought, guiding her way to a room of her own. Of course, she did want her own room. Sharing something like that would just cause problems for both she and her dozens of imaginary friends that awaited a free space to roam.
"How about... this one?" Waltz said, seemingly to herself. In her own eyes, however, she spoke to a small cat-creature along the walls. Getting a satisfactory answer, she walked inside.
Aluka Wallow had taken a short "break" from her schools for a year before starting her Sophomore year, her parents had taken her to Europe to study. Of course, her indifferent study-habits and her constant tendency to talk to herself made it difficult to study or make any friends there. Thus, she was dumped back here. It's not like she really minded either, a school was a school and she'd end up learning something anyways with a bunch of different people she didn't care to talk to.
People just weren't interesting.
Seeing that her chosen room was seemingly roommate-less, she plopped her suitcase on the bed and opened up the window to look outside. The view wasn't too great, nothing compared to the London city in her opinion, but it would have to do. About to unpack the belonging she brought, Waltz was distracted by a sudden sweet-tooth that kicked in.
"You. Wait. Here." She ordered the ponies and cats that lingered on the ceiling and walls. "I'm going off to see where they serve food, Ne~?" And stepping out of the room she continued to glide her way down the hallways of the school.
Neil sat at a bench towards the edge of the cafeteria reading. His pet, Sheela, rested herself atop his head while munching on a oddly-colored piece of celery. The whole site of the two of them probably looked rather strange, but there wasn't much to help that. Everyone at this school was strange anyways.
Waltz was so lost in thought that her eyes clouded with assorted visions. Many people would find this very hard to deal with, or even see with, but she didn't mind. Looking up, she could see clouds puff on the roofs and large skyscrapers of her imagination rise.
Unfortunately for that, she couldn't tell the difference between a skyscraper and a person. Entirely out of it, she bumped into a person without noticing until she was already on the floor sitting in a daze. Apparently it was a girl, with short brown hair and an large blue eyes.
" 'Rry" She said, in an attempt to say the word 'sorry' but couldn't quite manage it.

Ariana continued walking and made her way into the Administration Office, where a woman sat behind a desk. As soon as she entered the room, the woman looked up from her book and smiled at her and Ariana smiled back. "Umm, hello. I'm Ariana Silvaen. I was told I needed to come here to collect my class schedule." She said softly as she took a good look around the room. It wasn't really that great of a room, but that wasn't important. The woman opened a drawer in the desk and started sifting through papers. "Here you go dear. You'll have to choose a dorm room yourself." The woman said. Ariana smiled and thanked her before leaving the building.
A soft rumbling began in her stomach and Ariana glanced down at her feet. "Oh, I guess I must be hungry." She giggled at the idea that she hadn't realized that. "Well, I guess I need to head back to that building over there." She checked the school map the woman had given her and nodded. "Yes, back the way I came from." She folded the two papers, her schedule and school map and began walking to the cafeteria.
---
Lazareth didn't even bother pulling away when Rivka pulled him along, so he just moved his feet at her pace. A lot of thoughts ran through his head, but he didn't say any of them out loud, at least not yet. He could tell that the girl didn't know all that much about this world, or she wouldn't have thought them friends. Either way he didn't really care, or mind. What was that phrase? A friend is a friend? Yeah, that was it. He looked between the two boys, but wasn't sure what he should do, if he should do anything at all.

Rivka was distracted from her jealous rant when another girl bumped into her. She released Lazareth's arm as she almost fell only to catch herself on on leg with her arms held out to steady her. "'Rry?" The witch repeated. "Oh! Is that like 'sorry' without the 'so' part? Tee hee! That's so clever!" Rivka's short attention span had caused her to now focus on the girl who was sitting on the floor. "I like you! We can be friends as well!" She offered a single hand to help the girl back to her feet. That's when Rivka remembered about Luca! She turned her head while still offering a hand to look at the boy and with a smile she said, "Luca, it looks like you have a nice friend there! I made a new friend, too! This school is so nice, correct?"
Malcom watched the scene unfold in front of him. A girl came out of no where and ran into another girl who was pulling along a boy who didn't seem like he wanted to be there and Lisell and her elf friends were watching everything from a few yards behind him. Weird. Luca apparently had a new girlfriend, a cute new girlfriend, but she was a freak just like Puke-a was. "Yah, that's right. Luca and I are buds! Best comrads you could say." He was obviously teasing but he didn't know if this new girl would understand sarcasm. Malcom released Luca and instead kept a single hand on his head and playfully wobbled the boy's head back and forth. It seemed like Luca had a new group of friends and that meant a new group of kids to bully.

Waltz allowed herself be pulled up back onto her feet. It took a few more seconds until she snapped back entirely into focus, which also happened to be the first time today.
Friends? She thought, giving a wide-eyed shocked expression to the girl. Waltz wasn't much of a people person, but figured that you couldn't be friends when you had just met someone. In fact, running into someone like a klutz didn't seem like something you'd do to make a first friendly impression.
With such a random attention span, the attention was turned away from Waltz. The whole site of people just standing and talking annoyed her a bit, and her eye twitched as her expression remained blank and emotionless. Creatures of her imagination fluttered about, visible only to her, and analyzed the different people curiously.
"Excuse me..." She said, keeping her head down as she attempted to walk away.

"No we are not friends." Luca wanted to make it clear to Rivka that this was the truth. He knew she obviously didn't know what sarcasm was. Luca looked at the other girl and guy that she had brought along! Malcom finnaly let go, but was still holding on to his head. This did not last long because he lost his balance and fell to the floor on his backside. His wings were curled up in a painful way. He had landed on them wrong. He took a deep breath and started to get up, but this time was backing up towards Rivka and friends. His wings got caught on yet another person. This time it was a new girl that was trying to walk away from the group. Something Luca was trying to accomplish, but was indeed failing at.
"Sorry!" He said as his stick like wings got caught in her clothes.
--
Lisell couldn't take it anymore. She decided to get up and join Malcom in his bullying process. Her blonde hair shimmered as she walked up to them, with her hips swaying from side to side. She was beautiful and not ashamed of it. The elf walked next to the tall boy and looked at the group of what she would call misfits. "Luca I'm glad that you finally got around to making friends." She smirked, not really meaning a word of what she was saying.
--
Luca looked up at Lisell than looked back. He hated her of all people. He already had no self confidence and this woman was making it absolutely impossible for him to have any hope in himself. He was starting to think that he wouldn't amount to anything ever because of all the tiny little seemingly harmless things she said to him.

Rivka had smiled as the girl stood up, but she was too distracted by the tall boy to pay much attention. He seemed so nice! Why didn't Luca like him? She should be friends with him? But, if Luca didn't like him then as his friend she shouldn't like him either, correct? That seemed to be what all the magezines had implied. Rivka was busy going through all the information she had acquired when the beautiful, blond joined the group. "Luca and I are very good friends!" Rivka chirped. The girl was beautiful and the tall boy seemed to be attracted to her but would her new friends like it if Rivka changed her hair? Was that acceptable? "She's very pretty, correct? Are those with golden hair more attractive?" She had pursed lips as she looked at Luca (who was being clumsy with his wings) and Lazareth.
Malcom was glad to see the lovely Lisell join him in his bullying. There was simply too much dork to make fun of by himself. He'd leave Lisell to tear down the chirpy girl and the other girl who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, Malcom wanted the honor of destroying the boy in the glasses. "Dude, you know that it's not cool to look like a vampire anymore, right? I mean, you don't even sparkle or have the right colored eyes." Malcom gave Lazareth a little flick on his forehead. There wasn't any doubt in Malcom's mind whether or not he could take the quiet boy so he did all he could to provoke him.

"It's fine, it's fine." Waltz said as she removed the 'wing' from her clothing and continued to try to get away from here.
...
Then she heard a small comment from someone.
She stopped on her way out of the crowd. Literally stopped dead and turned back around. Granted, she didn't want to be with these kinds of people a second longer, but something had irked her just the slightest.
Waltz didn't do well in situations that annoyed her.
"Oi. four-eyes," She said to Malcom, managing to keep a cute expression on her face. "If you're going to look for a fight you'd need something better to provoke a kid."
She was turned around fully now, ignoring the creatures that lurked in the corners of her eyes. "A Twilight reference, really? You sound more like a sissy tween girl then a tough guy." She was actually surprised she knew the title to that. Waltz wasn't one for reading, she usually spent her time totally out of it or people-watching.
She knew this kind of person, basically defenseless. Words but no real action towards them, and even if she did get hurt it's not like that mattered. Bruises and broken bones weren't something she was new to.

Ariana rounded the corner at just the right moment to find a whole group of people standing around looking at one another. The tension in the air was obvious and she frowned. She thought she'd calmed these people down. She stepped forward and listened a little as she looked beyond them at the cafeteria. Surely this was none of her business, but she didn't like fighting. She had to do something to stop this.
Lazareth didn't even flinch, though he did cast a look in Malcolm's direction. It wasn't even a look of annoyance, but one that clearly said Are you really that stupid? He took a deep breath and cast his eyes onto the blonde elf who had joined him. These people were annoying, like the other Chimeras who often tried provoking him back home. Lazareth watched as the new girl to the group spoke up and the corner of his mouth twitched as if he really wanted to smile but was holding himself back. After a moment though, he smirked and let out a soft chuckle. "She's right, you know. That was pretty damn pathetic." Lazareth said calmly. He gently put his hand on Rivka's shoulder and reached out with his free hand to pull Luca behind him. "We should just get out of here. These morons aren't worth talking to." He said to them.
Ariana tilted her head slightly to the side and she smiled at the demon's attitude towards the situation. She had heard many things about demons, and she never would have expected to see a demon be so calm. Of course, she knew that anything was possible, as she herself was a sort of contradiction to her own race. All the other angels from the Order that she had ever met were all calm and serious. None of them were quite as... innocent, as her. And from what she'd seen, they weren't nearly as optimistic and cheerful as her either. She shrugged her shoulders slightly and put on her best smile as she walked behind the guy and girl who seemed to be trying to cause trouble and she walked into the cafeteria.

Lisell could hardly hold back her giggles. She found them to be absolutely ridiculous. Their attempts to get back at them were so futile. "Come on Malcom. We don't need to be here." She took his arm and started to pull him towards the table lightly. If they just laughed it all off then everything would be fine. Lisell avoided physical conflict at all cost. She was good at keeping Malcom from getting into fights most of the time.
"Geez that little demon kid is so annoying. and who is that weird girl you were talking to." Lisell was whispering to Malcom to make sure that the other people around them didnt hear what she was talking about.
---
Luca was glad that someone helped him up. He could actually play it off cool for once. It felt so good having someone there to back him up, even if he had no idea who it was. "Thanks." He mumbled under his breath. He wanted to say sorry to the girl that got caught in his spindly wings, but she looked like she was trying to avoid them. He felt really bad, but didn't have the bravery to go up to her and apologize again.
Luca was starting to walk away from Malcom. He saw Lisell whispering to him, but it was way to low for him to hear. He just kept going so he wouldnt have to deal with them anymore. Luca hated them.

Rivka was probably the only one there who wasn't sure what was going on as she had distracted herself with picking out a new hairstyle by flipping through pages of her magazine yet again. Blond hair sounded lovely, but then again it would be nice to have a redish color hair as well, there were so many choices! Rivka was admiring a curly do when Lazareth put his hand on her shoulder and she was brought back to the situation at hand. "Okay!" She chirped as he started walked away with Luca. "But what's a moron?" The whole problem had gone right over the sweet witch's head as she continued to look through the magezine as they were leaving.
Malcom glared hard at the girl with a bun thing on top of her head. Did she know who she was talking to?! Just for her ignorance he would send one of his ghostly friends to haunt her. He rolled up one of his sleeves ever so slightly when Lisell took him by the arm and started to lead him away. She always stopped him right when it was about to get fun however he played along. "Luca seems to have made himself a cute little squad of rejects," he chuckled darkly. That demon kid had called him a moron. "We should work on a new plan to make that little twerps life hell." Malcom wasn't used to being disrespected like that so he wasn't taking it very well. "But for now, I'm hungry." Just as he said that he noticed the little girl dressed in all white that had bumped into him before. She was new it seemed, maybe he could use that.

Ariana looked around the cafeteria a little, taking a good look at all the different foods, but she wasn't sure what she should get. She walked around a little and spotted a really tasty-looking dessert. "Oh wow, that looks really delicious." She said softly to herself. "But I need to know what's in it before I can try it." She spoke again and began looking around. There was a lunch-lady with her back turned to the counter. "Um, excuse me, but might I ask what's in this dish?" Ariana asked, grabbing the woman's attention. "Oh yeah, there's lotsa good stuff in there." The woman said simply.
Ariana frowned ever so slightly. "Yes, that's great and all, but are there any pecans or cashews?" She tried again and the woman seemed to think about it for a moment. "Well, yes there are pecans in it." The lady said after a moment and Ariana smiled. "Well, thanks anyway. I'll look for something else to eat." She replied happily and moved along, looking at other foods. Though she had the distinct feeling that someone was watching her and she turned around. "Oh, there's that nice boy from earlier." She smiled and waved to Malcolm, though she didn't know his name yet. She had sort of rushed off to the Administration Office without waiting for his answer. She turned back to the food and picked out a simple slice of cheese pizza. She also grabbed a small bowl of strawberries.
---
Lazareth sighed and said nothing for a while until he was sure they weren't within earshot of anyone else. "It's better you find that out on your own." Lazareth said in comment to Rivka's question about the word, 'moron'. He looked over Luca and felt sympathy for the kid. Sure Lazareth wasn't that much older, in fact, maybe only by a year or two, but still he knew what it was like. "Hey, you shouldn't let them get to you. They obviously have nothing better to do with their time. They're not worth worrying about." He said to the boy.

Waltz looked back at the two (Malcom and Lisell) walking away waving, "Bye byeee~ Come again soon, okay?" in the cutest voice she could manage. She turned back around, surprised at another apology towards the wing incident.
"No, no, that was really okay. I hardly noticed." She could sense his upset expression towards the kid. She sighed, not believing she was stuck talking to these people a bit longer then she had hoped. "Like Red-Eyes said, Try not to get too down about what those two say, it's much more fun just to keep a smile on because it tends to annoy people more. Kay?"
It didn't bother her that she knew nobody's name. Creating them herself made it seem a lot better anyways.
"Mor-on." She pronounced, answering the question since Lazareth wouldn't, "Means a stupid person." And that was all she said before making her way towards the cafeteria for what she had come for originally, something sweet.

"yeah i was avoiding them." Said Luca. "I'm just not doing a great job at it." He shook his head at the 'keep a smile on' comment. It was not an easy thing for him to do considering his life revolved around pain and suffering. That was the reason he was at the school in the first place. Luca noticed that the girl had a mission on her mind and was now leaving them. He was a little bit relieved. The less people around him the better. He decided that he was going to find a vending machine on campus and get a soda and a candy bar instead of waiting for food in the cafeteria. Perhaps Rivka and the other people would not follow him, but it was unlikely.

"The kids going to ruin his own life." Said Lisell. "Don't worry about him." Even though she said this she was now plotting in her mind just how she was going to do a million little things to make all of their lives frustrating. Even though it wasn't as big as pulverizing them it would still make their upcoming days miserable, but right now wasn't the time.
"Wait for school to start." She said to Malcom. She didn't really care about the kids right now. She was actually late for a meeting. Lisell was the President of Student Council.

Unfortunately the cafeteria didn't have as many sugary goodies as Waltz had hoped for, and she sighed while taking a cake-looking item onto a tray. It never bothered her exactly what could be in it, as long as it had a good taste. Assorted creatures of her one subconscious floated around inspecting the food, writhing at whatever seemed uncanny and inedible.
Out of the corner of her eye Waltz noticed around four other people in the room. One little girl in white, a boy with his head down, and the two others she had just met beforehand.
"Oh! Four-Eyes-Abruti and Merde, fancy seeing you again~" She said as she passed them by, walking over to an empty table to avoid other people. Of course, the table was filled with imaginary friends, but by all human standards that didn't count.
...
The cake tasted terrible.
(('Four-Eyed-Abruti' = What she calls Malcom
'Merde' = What she calls Lisell))
