Falina's soul is very pure, and she was very kind. "It must suck to be treated like that, I don't know how it feels for that to happen, people just fear me, both of our jobs are difficult, I prefer to be away from my own kind too, but unfortunately for you, you don't have the chance to see which way you prefer it." he says, his eyes showing a softness he hides otherwise, he' just get killed for trickery otherwise.

Falina searched his eyes and saw something of a flicker of warmth. "It's been...about a century now since I've been with my own kind," she said as she set the skillet down at took out two plates. "Do you want some?" she asked as she turned to him with a soft smile.

"Sure, smells delicious." he answered. "I admire your strength, I couldn't live being the last of my kind, I'm the only nice Angel of death, but they're are others." he says. "I'm one of a kind and I'm proud of it, I just think it would be nice if people could see that in me."

Falina plopped a fish fillet on a plat and then one on hers. She was actually glad she bought the value pack being that she still had four other fillets left. She handed a plate to Angel and then sat down across from him. "I can see it," she said as she then fell silent and went to eating her food.

"Yeah, you are known for kindness, you seem to not think of me as a threat to you." he feels better about that. "I can see that you can see past what I am, I didn't choose to be this, but I make the best of my life." he says taking the plate. He starts to eat as well.

Falina smiled softly at Angel. "Well, I saw you as a threat at first...but you seem none of such at the moment. I believe God chose to make us what we are for a reason. Everything happens for a reason. And unlike the others, I don't judge you merely for your job or what type of angel you are," she said, weirdly speaking freely. She was unsure how she seemed to be opening up to him. Of all the people and angels in the word, all in which never seem to really talk to her, she chooses to open up to Angel.

"Thanks, it's been too long since someone got past those two things. It was about a thousand years ago the last time." he recalls. "By th way, this food is really good, your a really good cook." he compliments her. He felt like he didn't have to put up the mask he usaully did around her, she seemed different.

Falina smiled and nodded her head, chewing another bite as she pointed to her table. "Thank you, Angel. There's more over there if you want some," she told him as she froze, her senses coming to life. A storm was on its way. "Oh great...a big storm's on its way. I just repaired my roof!"

"I can help you fix it, if you don't mind me being around that is." he offers, finishing his fish. "No thanks, I think I'm about full for now." He wonders how big the storm would be, he hoped he didn't have to take life, he did like to make sure souls got to where they are supposed to go safely, that's his favorite part of his job.

Falina had just got up to take his plate and set it aside to wash the next time she could when she traveled to the nearby river. She turned to look at him and smiled warmly. "I'd like that, thank you. Besides, I'm not one for being alone during a serious storm. I can sense it...a strong storm," she said as she looked outside ans saw the sky as an angry shade of light gray, threatening the ground of thick rain and lightening.

"Okay, sounds good to me." he says. "So you wouldn't mind my lowly self keeping you company?" he asked wondering.

Rain began to fall and the wind slowly began to pick up. Falina hurried up from her seat to go and take out the pots, pans, and buckets in case the rain and wind would become so heavy that a leak in the roof would spring. She placed them out, ready to be placed. "Angel, I don't see why you shouldn't be here. You are not a threat," Falina blurted out in a kind tone, shocked at what she had just said. Was it the truth? Well, obviously it had been.

"Okay, just making sure, I was never told, what did happen to your knid if you don't mind saying?" he asked curiously. "I've asked my teachers, but they wouldn't tell me, they knew I was different, and didn't know how I'd react, so they kept that from me, not from everyone else though." He really did want to know. 'Was it the Angels of Death that did that to her kind, was that why they wouldn't tell me?'

Falina fell silent as she sat down back in her original seat. "The...leader..of the Angels of Death...proposed a war between your kind...and mine. Over a century ago, this had happened. Most of both of our kind died trying to stay alive. The survivors fled to cover the whole world of what they could," she explained as she drew her knees up to her chest, hearing the rain and wind pick up, thunder in the background.

He moved over near her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "So that's why they wouldn't tell me, they knew I wouldn't like to hear, it makes me wonder why, without your kind and mine living in harmony the world as we know it changes for the worse, slowly of course." he says thinking. "Maybe if we set an example the other Angels of Death will see the error in they're choice then, maybe not, we can still be friends right?"

Falina looked up at Angel and smiled. There was something about him she couldn't get over that she liked. She felt so relieved he was willing to be her friend. She always wondered what it was like to actually HAVE a friend. "I don't see why not, Angel," she said with a smile and giggled a bit, finding that her cheeks were growing hot.

She then jumped when a loud crack of thunder gave away.

"Thunder scares you?" he asks. "If you want you can hold onto me." He found something about Falina that she liked, and he was just happy to have a friend, someone who didn't want to kill him. "I find that low thunder is calming."

Faline blushed hardcore as she looked at Angel and slowly shook her head. "I'm fine, thank y--" She jumped again at the next crack of thunder. This time it was louder and more vibrating as the whole hut shook. She found out about herself that she jumped to clutching onto Angel, her face nuzzled in his neck.

He smiled at the timing of the thunder, wanting to laugh. "You were going to say something?" he says chuckling softly. He didn't mind how she had jumped onto him, it felt kind of weird, made him forget about what was going on. "Cofortable?" he asked making sure she was alright.

Falina looked up at Angel and blushed horribly. She slowly let go. "Um..heh heheh...well I'm perfectly fine, thank you," she said as she ended up laughing at herself for how stupid and rather pathetic she was acting.

He smiled, wanting to laugh again. "That's good." he said. "You seem a bit shy." he noticed that about her, When she doesn't feel threatened by someone she feels shy.

Falina blushed all the more. "I just don't know how to act around Males, is all...I really don't know how to act around people period, let alone when shopping," she said as she looked away to hide her face.

"I don't really know how to act around females either, your the first to actually look past what I am to actually let me talk to you." he says. "And I act differently with the friends I do have, you know, tipical guy stuff, play fighting and all that fun."

Falina smiled a bit as she quickly nuzzled her face into his neck once a louder strike of lightening it. Then she heard a crackling. A tree had been hit. After realizing what had just happened she let out a whining groan. "I'm going to have to save that tree when the storm passes," she said, explaining her out-of-the-blue whining moan from just a moment ago. Her face was still nuzzled into his neck. She really didn't know if it was improper or not, but she liked it.

"Yeah, but we're lucky tht it didn't hit the hut." he said. He didn't know if what she was doing was proper for friends, but he enjoyed it. "When do you think this storm will pass?" He was curious. "You must be busy after storms like this one, with all of the possiblities of what could happen, I guess I could be too, I don't know if I've got to guide someone to the other side." he found it quite ironic how they could be friends having such different rsponsibilities.
