As she blew off the dust he sneezed. Rubbing his nose he wrinkled it up at the dust. Lightly he shrugged sitting back down on the couch. "Alright. I guess there's nothing I can do, eh Bella?" he asked softly. Crono decided she was very beautiful as he sat there looking at her. Lightly running a hand threw his red hair he smiled at her.

She frowned at him.
"Maria is my name. Now lets see...."
She walked around grabbing random items from shelves and nodding to herself.
"Candles.......matches.....eye of newt...incence. Pretty much got everything. I just need toads blood, harralander and snowflake dust. Would you like to run another errand for me?"
She smiled at him.

The red head shook his head. "No, No Marie. Bella means beautiful in Italiano. My native language," he answered smiling. At the list of things she need he wrinkled up his nose. "Those sound disgusting... but I suppose I could," he answered smiling, "Blonde or Black?" Of course he was asking her which form to take. He wasn't feeling to specific at the moment so he figured she could chose.

"I like the black haired form better. He seems cuter." She wrote down all the things she needed on a list and handed him the paper and a pouch of money. "Buy yourself something to eat. I am sure you are starving." She chuckled and before turning back to her book. "Thank you but I am not that pretty. It was a nice thought though."

Grinning he nodded and switched to his dark haired form, Noctis. Standing up he took the pouch and the list from her. Crono was surprised she gave him money to get something to eat. "Thank you very much... and I'll be sure to get everything," he answered with a smile. Then he shook his head and grinned. "I have to disagree with that statement. But I will return shortly," he answered. Heading out the door he peered at the list and went into the first store.

While he was gone she began to make preperations for the ritual. She stripped down and doused herself in holy water. She laid in the sun to dry and after that she plaited her hair and used ashes to write on her forhead. She finished that and said a prayer. Then she began to clense the candles and other items slowely. She finished that up and started her cauldron to boil on the fire as she worked on the potion.

After going to the first store he realized this was going to be more difficult than presumed. The first store was out of a few things and recommended down the street. This occurred again and he swore he had to go to a different store for each material. After gathering the last item he headed into a tavern to get something to eat. Once sitting her ordered a drink of mead and an order for his food would was a roast duck with a side of potatoes and yams. Sitting he tapped his foot softly as he waited for his food and drink to arrive. Crono found himself wondering what Maria was up to.

Maria sighed. This was not going well. Who knew this was going to be such a complicated thing to do. She continued to work on it but for some reason it was not turning out correctly. Her mind kept drifting to that demon boy. Was he flirting with more girls? She sighed. Why did she care? He was just a demon. She had no need for him. There was no reason to feel jealous.

His drink arrived and he sipped at it. Still he found himself thinking of Maria. Shaking his head the dark haired male felt he should not be thinking of her. At the sight of his food he grinned and nodded. Slowly he ate still thinking about Maria. Growing angry with himself he ate his food quickly, paid and then left. Crono was mostly mad that he was even thinking about her. Opening the door again he was surprised not to see her in the main room. He decided that she was upstairs and he went up the steps. Seeing her he presented the bag full of items. "Here," he mumbled.

She frowned at him a moment.
"Whats wrong with you? Something bothering you?"
She took the items and smiled.
"Thanks just what I needed. I found a way to get you home in about another day."

The dark haired man shook his head. "Not of your concern... But in case you were that curious I just got turned down by a bar maid," he grumbled. He lied to cover up his expression. Going over by her he sat down switching to his red haired form. "Sounds good to me... So how does this all work?" he asked quietly. Crono found himself looking at her lips seeing how perfectly bowed they were. Realizing he was staring he raised his eyes to her's.

She looked at him with a frown. Something was on his mind and it had nothing to do with a barmaid. She looked at his neck for a moment. Hmmm. She took off her necklace and gave it to him.
"Hold this a moment" She stood up and picked up a candle. She lit it and said a few words. Suddenly both necklaces disappeared.
"There you are unbound now."
She went back to where she was and continued to work on the potion.
"You can go home in two days if you are still around."

As she gave her the necklace to hold he was a tad bit confused. Taking it in his hands he looked at it and was surprised when they both disappeared. When Maria went back to where she was he moved over by her. "Why did you do that?" he asked quietly leaning towards. Crono wondered if she was mad at him or thought he was mad at her. "I'm not mad with you... honestly," he answered quietly.

She looked at him with a sideways frown.
"WHy would I think you are mad at me? I just thought you might like to have fun before you go home. I didnt want to burden you with being tied to me at the time. So go out and seduce and wreak havoc."
She turned back to her potion.

The red head shrugged and grinned at her comment. Once she turned back to her potion he grinned. "Can't I just wreak havoc here?" he whispered leaning close to her ear. Softly he nipped at her ear chuckling. Crono grinned. Maria did give him permission to cause havoc and it's not like she said where he could cause havoc, so here was perfect.

She looked at him with a frown and then put her hand up on his face and pushed him so he could fall over.
"How about not. If you cause to much distraction then it will take longer for me to send you home. I know you really want to go home."

{so I haven't posted in so long... I had submitted a post but that may have been when my cpu crashed}

At her frown he just grinned. As she pushed he back he fell back slightly then leaned back. Softly he kissed her neck. "C'mooon you know you like it,"he snickered. When Crono moved closer to her and rested his hand on her hip his foot nudged the cauldron and knocked it's contents over. At the sound of the crashing his golden eyes looked to it. He slipped back off of her and looked to the ground. "Guess that is pretty bad.. huh?" he asked quietly. The male knew she would be really mad, but what else could he do...

She sighed and picked up a cloth and began to clean up the mess.
"Now its going to be longer for you to go home. O well."
She picked up the cauldron and rinsed it out. She put it back on the fire and began to work on the brew again.

The red head looked and the ground with a frown. To his surprise though she really did not seem that mad. Crono as he watched her. "I'm sorry," he said softly.

"do not worry. It is not that bad." she stood up and hugged him. How could he have known that he would knock it over? It was an accident she was sure of it.

Crono was surprised she had hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her and returned the hug. "Thank you for not being mad with me," he said in a small voice. The red head sounded rather child-like in that moment.

She smiled.
"Why would I be angry. I am sure it was a mistake and even if you were being improper at the time its not something that concerns me."

Crono tilted his head at her. The red head sneakily snuck up next to her again and lightly kissed her cheek. "Well I felt like it was a little out of line," he answered quietly. Maybe he wouldn't mind having to hang around here for a little longer.

She ignored him as she poured more stuff into the big pot. She had to finish this potion soon or something awful might happen. She finished everything and once again put it to boil. It had to heat for exactly an hour no more no less.

When she ignored him Crono figured what she was doing was rather important. Curling his legs up under him he sat quietly behind her. His golden eyes watched her as she took care of and prepared the potion.
