Lightning quickly looked around to see if she had been followed. "looks like noone is around" she sighed. She then sat down in the middle of the garden. To the left there was a baby white bunny. She smiled at and began to pet it. Lightning had found the bunny a few days back and made it her pet. She named the bunny Lilly. As Lightning petted Lilly she looked up the sky and began humming a tune. She couldn't remember the words, but it was something that she heard when she was younger. Today couldn't possibly be any better she thought.

KayKay turned to the newcomer. "Hey, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I'm KayKay." Then she turned towards Mello and the others. "That's Mello, and yes, it's a guy, the red-haired one is Matt, and the albino genius is Near."

Mello's eye twitched. "DID YOU JUST CALL ME AN IT??!"

"Huh? I called you a guy." She feigned innocence and skipped back inside, leaving four guys and an awkward silence.

Ember swipped her hand across her forehead wiping sweat away but leaving a streak of dirt. She straightened up to look at her hard work. The few rows of plants were straight and all the weeds were now gone. The others might make fun of her dirty and lowly hobby but she loved farming. Since she could really farm she had a small garden in the back.
She looked down at her watch suddenly remembering that a new person was suppost to be coming. Seeing the time she realized that the person was probably already here and she was late. She quickly gathered her tools and placed them to the side so she could put them away later. She grabbed her hat and shoved it back on her head before running for the front of the building.
When she reached the front she found she had been right there was a new guy talking to the big three guys. She thought about just going back to her garden but sighed realize she would just get in more trouble.
She slowly walked over to the guys. She waited until they noticed her. She turned to the new person. "Hello, I'm Ember. I am very sorry that I was late to greet you." She stuck out her hand to shake his then realized she was covered in dirt.She let her hand fall back down. "Oh, I'm very sorry. Forgot about the dirt. I like to grow things and was working in my garden."
She figitted before turning to the other three. "Hello Near, Mello, Matt. Once again I am sorry for being late. I'll have fresh strawberries and watermelon ready for dinner."
She thought about fleeing at this point but fought the compulsion and waited to see if they said anything.

There were so many different types of people comming out to great Thoma. Some of them seemed normal, and other's seemed a bit off. Thoma adjusted the strap of his bag on his shoulder and nodded to Kaykay, Matt, Near, and Mello. The four of them began to argue amoung themselves before the female left. He took not of this, especially now that he was able to notice that a little girl had been standing behind Kaykay. Edward gulped as his cold grey eyes fell on her, another shiver serged up her spine.

Another girl exited from the house, this one was covered in dirt. She was striking to lay eyes on and for a moment, Thoma forgot what was going on or where he was. Her eyes were the brightest green he'd ever seen anyone own and in a second he was lost in them. Pulling himself out the moment he'd gotten lost, Thoma nodded once more to this new girl.

"Thoma," he said reluctantly repeating the cage of a name. She hadn't been presant to hear it before and something about her made him want her to hear it. He extended a hand to her, wondering if she take it but only half caring if she did.

"STRAWBERRIES!!!" A shrill squeel suddenly ran out and Edd ran over to Ember. She hugged her around the waist in her childish innocence and looked up at her with sparkling golden eyes. "Are they biiiig?" She was practically drooling over herself. Anyone who mentioned anything sweet instantly became Edd's new friend. Unknowingly, Edd's outburst made Thoma feel as though he'd be ignored and he dropped his hand and walking into the house scowling.

Lightning was writing in her journal that she kept in the garden. She then looked to the sky and then to her watch. It'll be dinner time soon she thought. She stood up and stretched and took her secret path back to the house. It would surely be time to eat by the time she got back. The path led to a secret room in the house that was close to her bedroom.

As Kiara reentered her room and shut the door she felt relief wash over her. It was so quiet up here and so peaceful. She was glad that she'd been able to get a room to herself. She'd removed the small piece of paper she'd put in the door before going downstairs and was satisfied to note that nothing seemed out of place.
She walked over to her dark wood desk, reached into the drawer and slipped the latest letter from her penpal from the hidden compartment. She re-read it once more before pulling out a fresh sheet of paper and beginning to write her response in her favourite dark red pen.
It wasn't a very long letter. She congratulated him and the rest of his team on catching another of their criminals. Her penpal, Spencer Reid, was a part of a team in the FBI in America and it was through him that her interest in Psychology had really taken off. She had been interested in it before of course but it was his helpful hints and sugestions that had really caused her to take an interest. They sent letters to each other weekly (or fortnightly depending on whether he had a case and how much work she had to do). She asked about the rest of the team, how they were doing and whether Morgan had stopped teasing him about going out on a date for once and if Rossi and Prentiss had finally wised up or not. She signed the note with her name Kari and quickly found an envelope. She'd post it the second she got the dhance. For now though she slipped both Reid's letter and her response back into the secret compartment and stretched before looking at the clock.
It was nearly dinner time.
She grabbed a manga at random, Junjo Romantica, and made her way downstairs to the dining room, making sure to put the small piece of paper into the door before she left and locking it.

Lightning hurried down her path back through the secret room. She opened the door slightly to see if anyone was there. She saw Kari walking down the hall with one of her books. She waited for a moment and then entered in. She then snook off to her room to wash up. She entered her room and collapsed on her bed. She began to daydream about things

Ember watched Thoma walk to the house feeling sad. There had been hesitation when he first saw her but she thought he had liked her. She sighed before hugging Edd then twirling her around. "You know that was kind of rude. Didn't you see us talking? And of course their big. I did grow them of course." Ember winked. "Would you like to help me bring them in? If I have some help I should be able to bring in everything for dinner and still have time to clean up."

Ember looks towards the house. "If you want to help I'll meet you at the garden. I want to go fix things with Thoma." Before waiting for a reply she races towards the house.

She opened the door to find that Thoma hadn't gotten far. "Wait up Thoma. I'm sorry about Edd. She doesn't think sometimes. I wanted to welcome you properly." Wiping her hand on her sleeve she then stuck it back out towards him. "I still have to go get some stuff from the garden for dinner but I was wondering if you would like to come see my garden? We can drop the stuff off at the kitchen and then I can show you to your room." She smiled at him hoping he would come with her but hoping she wasn't intruding.

Lightning got up and changed her outfit. The one she was wearing was covered in dirt. She then turned her radio on and laid back in her bed. She was Thinking about Envy. He doesn't like her too much. She heaved a heavy sigh and fell into dream land

"Ehhh? NO MARIO! Aww..." Matt shouted to his DS and watched the chubby hero fall off the screen. Adjusting his goggles, he pressed 'Continue' and his fingers started flying, trying to get past the last level. He was sitting under a large tree, in Wammy's spacious yard. Near was inside, crouched on the floor and doing his blank puzzle for the 294th d*mn time, with Linda painting him. He'd suspected Linda had a crush on him for quite a while now...

A turtle shell slammed into Mario and that dreaded last life music played. Matt looked upwards, and he thought he saw a girl up in that tree? "No...must've spent too much time playing video games..." He saw Ember and the new guy, Thoma, walking towards the garden. Mello and KayKay were quarrelling over who got the last chocolate chip cookie. "Oh god, those two are practically made for picking out the most insignifigant things and fighting over them..."

Again, he thought he saw something moving up in the tree, accompanied with a giggle. He shook his head and stood up, while saying, "Need some sleep..."

Ai hiccuped, cursing herself under her breath, in her native tongue. "Orokana watashi... Watashi wa shizuka ni suru hitsuyō ga arimasu![Stupid me... I need to keep quiet!]" she sat up in a tree, lingering over the school. As she watched, she grew extremely tired. Climbing down the tree, she peeked through a window, and noticed no one was there, so she decided to stop and put her hair up in a bun. Humming softly to herself, she took her time. All over her body were marks. Bruises and gashes from her long journey. "Watashi wa watashi no rokkotsu o otta to omou... Watashi wa sore o sai bunkatsu suru ka o hitsuyō to shi, sore o o susume itashimasu. Sugu ni.[I think I broke my rib... I need someone to re-break it, and mend it soon.]" She sat there, enjoying the breeze, and brought her hand to her ribs, flinching slightly. Looking down, she saw a man through the leaves, then immediately started climbing back up, ignoring small branches snapping. "Orokana, orokana, orokana!" she hissed, mainly at the man.
