The boy was not very heavy in the least bit. At least to me that was. We were walking. Riley behind me just a few strides. Although I could feel her sorrow. It was sad knowing this was what the world came to. But it was a rotation. Every few years the circle went on. Humans never learned from the past after all. Political leader of this time were no different from my own time. Suddenly the human girl next to me froze, Although I took a step forward looking around, then back to Riley who seemed equally confused. I had never scene a power like that before. What was God planning for her? I was about to answer when everything started to move again. not giving me enough time to come up with an answer. So I simply nodded my head. I would need to speak with her later on.

Aurora's eyes widened slightly at suddenly being frozen and then nodded to Serene. "Sure.. I'll um.. come with you guys." She said, brushing her bangs out of her face. She bit her bottom lip from feeling nervous since Ace was probably worrying back at home and there was nothing she could do about it. She looked towards the boy. He looked fourteen or fifteen but could pass as a twelve year old based on his acting skills. She was already sick of being around here. She had been shoved and frozen after trying to help the boy and was now being taken along with them.

Aurora held her hand up to her locket around her neck that her mother had given her and ran her thumb over the locket repeatedly, calming herself down so that she could get a hold of herself from all this excitement. "I really need to get home to my family.. but if you three need a place to stay tonight then your welcome to stay at my home." She said, trying to be polite despite the madness of it all.

Ace Alexander Divine~

Ace looked out the window of his mothers apartment building and sighed a little to himself. He was getting slightly agitated that his sister wasn't back yet and was starting to get worried. Ace was nineteen at the time and was anything but a normal teen. He and his sister had both been tormented as children by their father and had moved to New York just to escape him. Ace had dark black hair that some parts stopped just above his jaw line thanks to it mostly being made of bangs. It was what most girls called 'emo hair'. He loved music unlike his sister who only loved Art, History and Drama but only knew how to play the piano and electric guitar. I immediately went back to following the group. The rush I held inside my body from what I had just done.. Was.. Amazing. Best felling ever. Except the day I died. That would be the best feeling ever. Seeing the gates... Sigh... I'd do it all over again if I could... I thought to myself.

A loud screeching began, And I dropped to my knees and covered my ears. I was about to scream as well, When I saw what it was. A very large, Very frightening demon was soaring through the sky and busting the ear drums of the citizens. I couldn't fly up and attack it. I knew who it was. His name was Drakon, and he was in the form of a Dragon.

Some of the buildings began to disintegrate from the horrid screeching.

Upon seeing the demon, I threw a barrier up. Drawing energy from the earth. The barrier could not be scene, but as falling parts from buildings fell towards them, they would bound off, and the barrier would move in a way like water. When someone would throw a rock on. I looked at the dragon, frozen for a second on how to handle this. Then the demon looked straight at us. A demented smile crossing his lips. I knew how to handle it. I could simply stall him for the others to leave.

"Your house. Yes. that will work. Will you lead my friend and this boy there?"

Aurora looked from both the girls and to the boy. "I can lead the boy there since it looks like your friend wishes to stay here with you.." She said, noticing how both the girls wanted to fight this dragon thing in the sky. She took the boy from the girl and help him up. "The address is 2437 bakers street." She said to both of them. "I'll take him back and once your done you two may come as well. As she started to lead the boy back, slowly remembering how to get home she felt the need to start up a conversation. "So... whats your name?" She asked, looking down at the boy as she led him along.

"Do not let yourself be harmed... Do you need me to stay and help you, Or would like me to and protect them?" Now, I was taking orders from her like she was a higher power. But, She did have a lot more experience in war and protection then I did. I had only had experience in stopping bullies at school and simple things like that. "I think going to protect them would be... helpful."

[Short post sorry, While I'm writing a OCC, I am going to a teen revival tomorrow night and won't be here.]

"I-I'm... Denver," I finally said. "No, Michael. No, Mikey..." I smacked my forehead, walking mostly, leaning somewhat on the girl. I groaned, "Just call me Denver." Why couldn't I answer the most simple questions? Idiot. I glared down at my feet, watching each movement. Right, left, right, left. "What's yours?"

I passed the boy off to Aurora. Being careful with him. He was still bleeding a bit as my white clothes showed. They started to walk away, and I heard the sweet Riley. "Which ever you feel you must do my dear. I feel like I must fight." I said as I saw Aurora go behind a building, to bring out my halo. Giving me just a bit more power. I hated giving orders to other Angels. I was no archangel after all. But sometimes is was needed. Pointing out certain people to do a certain job.

"I will only stall. And hopefully join up later." I said to her. Never could be completely sure if I was going to make it out of the battle.

I nodded and gave Serene a warming hug, "I'll pray for you.." I whispered in her ear, then let her go and and ran to the young boy and girl that looked slightly older then me. "I'm... I'm going to stay with you guys..." I didn't look back to Serene, Remembering the saying 'Never look back.'

"Denver, Eh? I'm Riley." I knew he wasn't talking to me, But I felt the need to become apart of the conversation before it was too late. "And yours?" I said, Looking to the girl.

She smiled slightly at the boy. "Its Aurora." She said softly, frowning a little when she noticed him glaring after not remembering his name. "Hey, it's fine. Your hurt and you probably forgot a few things from getting banged up. You'll be back to normal in no time.." She said, turning a corner and smiling to herself since she actually found her apartment building. She led Denver up the steps and opened the door, pulling him inside and shutting it and locking it. Most people in the streets would try to break in to get away from all the chaos, so hopefully the other two girls knocked. She led Denver into the living room and helped him sit on the couch. "Okay where's the pain most intense?" She asked, raising an eyebrow since her mother was a nurse and had taught her a few things. At the moment her mother was on vacation in hawaii.. so hopefully she was okay. She then noticed the other girl there. "Oh sorry.. I was a bit busy with helping him.. I don't mean to offend you.."She said, feeling bad that she had ignored the girl.

Ace sat in the kitchen, nodding to his sister as she came in. She noticed she was helping a boy that looked pretty beat up so he just stayed in the kitchen to let her take care of him since their mother had taught her a few things about nursing. He got up and brought the first aid kit to her, then went upstairs to his room and turned on the news. Many of the news reporters were running threw out the street to get a shot of something dark in the sky. "Ugh.." He muttered.

Riley slammed the door open, Not remembering her manners. She walked in, And shut it behind her. She sighed once she made it inside. Her halo lit the dim room, Well, Dim to what she was used too. She dropped her wings, And they drug the ground, "Why did you send me, God? What can I do to help this world..." She sighed and looked in the kitchen.

I gasped when I saw Ace in the kitchen, I didn't know his name yet though. He reminded me of a guy I used to like, I'm sure that boy was burning in hell by now, Or maybe he was still alive... But he wasn't a good influence at all. Older, drug riden, Sex riden. I just gave Ace a slight smile and walked over the the couch where Denver and Aurora sit. "Anything I can do to help, Or do you have this under control?"

[I'm to lazy to edit this now xD We'll just let the bump stay here, Okay?]

"It's okay, I have it under control. You can go talk with my brother Ace if you'd like." She said softly, looking towards the kitchen where Ace was. He wasn't the best teen thanks to all his issues with girls in the past but at least he hadn't done drugs. Or at least she hope'd he hadn't. "I think he's making dinner so you could always help since there's going to be three more people joining us tonight.." She said, blowing her bangs out of her face.

I nodded, And then stalked off nervously toward the kitchen, I wasn't bothering to put up my wings and halo. I hadn't even really figured out how to do that... I could only do it sometimes. And never know when I'll need them. I hoped he wouldn't freak out by my appearance. "Hey... Uhm, She sent me to help you..."

I twitched my wings, Not even thinking about it. It seemed peaceful inside this house, Or at least... More peaceful then it was out there. My worries were at bay for a little while.

I hugged Riley back, "Thank you" I said. Making sure they were safely around the corner before I turned. I noticed there were many humans around. They would only prove to make this even harder. I jumped into the air towards the dragon. I being one of few Angels that could fly without wings. My entire appearance changed. I wore a suit or silver armor, my halo turned into a silver color, and my swords was held tightly between my fingers.

I flew towards the dragon. Dodging his simple swaps towards me. Trying to get a hold. Even cutting off one of his fingers in the process. In this form I was nothing but a very bright light. Maybe some humans would be able to make my body out. The dragon rushed towards me, grabbing me and slamming me into the tar. It hurt, a lot. But did not slow me down. Dirt and rubble flew towards the beast, blinding him, as a used a boost of energy to try and get free. It did not work. His grip was tight. Instead I brought a pair of my wings out. The brightness, and heat my body gave off burned his hand. Forcing him to let go. I felt a trickle of blood slide down my head, as well as random points on my body.

I let out a scream as I took hold of my sword from the ground, jumping up. Boosting myself to slide the sword right threw the confused dragon's head.

I shook my head, sending sharp lances of pain through my brain. "I'm fine," I muttered, leaning my head back. Then I jolted upwards, remembering the blood. The couch would not like a coat of red on it. I turned to Aurora, "I don't remember much, I'm sorry. I'm trying to remember." I closed my eyes, and I was pulled into unconsciousness.
Daddy stares long and hard at me, and I feel his cold glare as though it had significant weight on my body. He whips his hand across my face, it burns, leaving a bright red mark there. This diabolical creature twists his fist into my hair, and yanks my head upwards. I feel sick. I know what's going to happen next-and he does what I knew he would do. He sticks his hand in his pocket, pulls out a knife, and traces bloody lines on my face. Occasionally he goes over some of my old ones, ensuring that they will never fade. "Daddy, stop it!" I scream and shout, I shake and rattle like a leaf. I am utterly alone and no one cares about my misery. Daddy laughs maniacally, and starts whispering in my ear. "Giggles," he grins as he says the nickname, "Just remember that I am a good daddy, and that this is love, and that these scars show my everlasting love and faith in you. Remember me, Giggles."
I started to shake again. I felt the cold blade again. "Don't, daddy, don't."
[Just to explain the scars, add some drama, you'll see. :)]

I fell to the ground behind the dragon. Breathing heavily. I felt as if I had several broken bones from when the dragon was tossing me about. But to be honest, I could care less. I turned, seeing the news. Their camera's pointing right at me. I took off right away, flying into the sky. Finding the house Aurora said she lived in. But mainly I was tracking Riley. Since I could not remember what the address was, or more so how to get there. I transformed back into my more human form as I landed. Feeling a spark of pain from my back.

Bucking it up, I knocked on the door.

"Door," I announced, as if anyone would care, as if the door would hear me and open by itself. "Are you expecting any guests?" I tried to fill the awkward silence that had decided to rear its ugly head. "I wonder if it's the pizza guy," I joked, smiling slightly, knowing two things about pizza delivery. One, it would never come, and two? It would be very expensive for it to come out here. As long as the chaotic town continued to increase its broken state.

Ace nodded towards the girl. "Well i'm making spaghetti so I guess you can make the sauce.." He said, glancing at her and then watching his sister interact with the boy.

Aurora went and got the door. "Oh hello, come on in." She said before making her way back to the boy. "So ermm...need me to bandage any wounds?" She asked softly, laughing a little at his joke. "Well I passed an empty Papa John's car so I doubt the pizza guy will be coming any time soon." She frowned a little at him saying he was trying to remember. "You'll be back to normal in no time.." She said, looking towards the tv that was off. "Want a drink?" She asked the boy, glancing at him before getting up from the couch.

My eyes widened, He didn't even freak over the halo, or the wings! Maybe I wasn't his type. He barely noticed I exsisted. I didn't really know how to mke sauce... I was just going to be at assistance at giving him thnigs to make and mix... "Uhm... I'm sort of... Dead. I don't know how to make sauce, or anything." I gave him a half hearted smile. First impressions aren't everything... Right?

"Uh," I stopped, halfway between sitting and standing. I had meant to stand up to follow, and I don't know, make myself useful? But I stopped, feeling uncomfortable with having to answer her question. I didn't want her to do anything she didn't want to out of kindness. "I'm fine, I can bandage myself, could you just give me some gauze? I-" I broke off, realizing how stupid I sounded. Also, something in some ignored part of my mind told me not to let her. Maybe it was just the recent memory, and that itself gave me another lead on what happened to my face. I wondered idly if it was my dad that did it to me? Had I just managed to excape? That seemed to fit the pieces the best. I sat down, feeling slightly smug. I figured it out. Well, hopefully. My parched throat made me nod my head. "Please," I asked.

I smiled as I walked in. Carefully walking due to the scraps and bruises I received. Not to mention the broken bones. Everyone seemed to act completely normal. Which so did I. Or at least tried. Maybe I would just lay down for a short while. My body would heal on its own, faster than a humans. But I still needed time to rest. I noticed the News was playing, which caught my attention. They had filmed me, at least in my natural form. It was too late for hiding any how. This was war.

I felt very sleepy suddenly. Just how my body reacted to being hurt. "Excuse me." I said to the girl in the other room. The hostess. If we weren't in the middle of a war, I would have brought her some flowers. As a thank you gift. Well, at least that was one of the most beautiful gifts of Rome. "Is there any where I may lay down for a while?" I asked. Standing as straight as I could. Behind me the battle played on the news. The news woman saying some of the meanest things.

I stared at the angel. Was I seeing things again? I must. It was that girl from before. I didn't really mind that I saw something weird. No one seemed to mind, so I figured that it was me. I shrugged, got up, and moved aside to let her lay down. I acted so geekily chivalrous. I blushed profusely, but I hoped it didn't show. Maybe the blood would cover it, I thought darkly.

I noticed the boy moved over a bit. A small smile crossed my lips. It was nice of him to do. After all, I was covered in blood. So any bed would have been messed up. I moved towards the boy. A slight bit of pink crossed over my face, although I hoped there was enough light to blind it out. I sat down, then laid fully.

"Thank you. " I said to the boy. Looking up at him.
