Daeman took the key and put it in the pouch on the side of her hip. "Thank ya kindly miss." She said with a large smile as she took the pint and placed it on the chair she was standing on. Climbing down from the chair was easy, without the pint. If she had climbed down with the pint in hand, she probably would have spilled some of it. The chair was taller than her so it wasnt like she could just pick one foot up and step down without going quite a distance. If she was able to do that, she wouldnt have needed the chair in the first place. She took the pint off the chair and drank some of it before walking over to a table near the red skinned girl and the man who seemed not so intimidated by anything. She put the pint on another chair and then walked back over to the chair that she had been standing on and put it back where it belonged. No need to leave it there so that the people who worked at this fine place had to take care of it. Once that was finished, she walked over to the table where she had put her pint and climbed up on the chair there. When on the chair, she took the pint and put it on the table and took another gulp of the sweet tasting alcohol. She then began to stare at the man. It seemed that he wasnt human at all, but then what was he? And the girl he was staring at, why was her skin red? It puzzled the girl as she stared at both of them equally, but with a smile on her face. She had seen plenty of creatures but none like this so it was a little strange that she didnt know what these two were. Then she saw some of the scales on the girls wrist... Were those scales even? of course they were. They had to be. Maybe this girl was half lizard or something.

Keira noticed a short female arrive. This place seemed to be quite busy today. She knew the one female was a dragon, but she didn't know what the man she was talking, the two kids, and this newcomer were. She wasn't a vampire, dragon, or any other creature that could sense or smell what the others were. She only had appearances to go by, and that didn't help much. She played with the brass key around her neck while she stared at the dragon and the man. She wasn't eavvesdropping, but she was fascinated by their interaction with one another. The man seemed to be ready for a fight if the female decided to attack. "What odd creatures they are?"

Scarlett's eyes darted to the orange colored girl, then at a very dark looking man. She sighed a small, bored sigh. Though she and her brother were barely considered an adult, her birthday would be in a few days and she would be eighteen. Then two days after hers Ace would be twenty. They may have been teenagers but their minds were of adults. Years of sorrow and anger made sure of that. Her now dark green eyes fell onto the bar counter. She wasn't one to care about other's business or what people were doing but she was interested in the others around her for some reason.

Ace soaked in the tub, his mind filled with thoughts of his sister and how they could somehow escape everything that was keeping them down. He ran a hand threw his hair and thought of his future, her future. He knew they would always be close.. but he still worried greatly.

Dante

With a small sigh, Dante let his silver eyes rest on the tavern. The Gypsy's Gaze. He'd been there once before, and to be honest - it felt like home. Frowning at the thought, the male stepped forward. His long coat made little noise as he crossed the street, his stride confident. It was time for a drink . . . or maybe a couple.
Entering the threshold, his pale gaze shot about the room. There were quite a few people in today. They were awfully strange, too. Who am I to talk about strange? The cursed man shook his head and started toward the innkeeper. She looked just as she had during his last visit. With a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, Dante approached her. "Do you have any open rooms left?"

Non-chalantly leaning against the nearest table, the male offered a sly wink to the woman. "It's been a long day." Indeed it had been. While listening to the innkeeper's reply, Dante found his mind running over what had happened since dawn.

"There he is!"
Damn.
Dante shook the sleep away from his stiff form as he stumbled away from the building. The city guard had found him - again. They weren't in the best relationship after Dante had shot their leader. It wasn't for his own gain - it had been to defend someone else. It wasn't his fault that the entire place was corrupt.
Darting down an empty street, Dante felt it clawing at his chest. It wanted to be free. Silver eyes flashing with crimson, the male forced his cursed form down. If he changed now, everyone would be after him as though he were some kind of demon. That was something he'd gone through lengths to avoid until now.
Taking off faster than the guards could follow, the tall male made his way to the edge of the city. He would be traveling to the next town - the city guards had no authority there. The walk was long, and he was feeling rather beat by the time he arrived.

Blinking away the thoughts of the day, Dante let his gaze settle on the woman of the building. Don't be rude, Dante.

(( Esmme, I can't help but laugh right now. Dante is a masculine and pretty aggressive character... and there's a freaking adorable kitten at the bottom of the post. It's kinda awesome.))

Ti's dark eyes flitted to the small woman as she walked over with pint in hand. She was certainly interesting, you didn't see many small folk around here. He hadn't seen many in his entire life, actually. He had heard her talking with the Innkeep, she seemed interesting, obviously an outgoing type, and he had no doubt she had full use of her small, but dangerous weapons. His gaze quickly wandered about the Inn again, things were getting more crowded than he liked. Then again, he needed a place to stay, and this was the only place he knew he would be welcome. His eyes lingered on the Vampress at the end of the bar. She was an elder, he could feel her power from here, but she seemed... off some how.

mentally shaking his head, he rested his eyes back on the red woman in front of him, pondering on letting go of his attempted conversation with her.

Elysia had just finished writing down the tallies for the current guests bills when a familiar face swept through the doorway. She smiled, her eyelids curving up slightly. "Hello Dante. Wonderful to see you have chosen to return. I have plenty of room left, of course." She replied as she once more took up her quill, her face turned down towards the book. "We all have hard days, but the nights are there to wind us down, yes?" She said, writing his name down, remembering it clearly from the last time he stayed. She unhooked another brass key, holding it out to the blond man. "Room number four, I'm sure you know where it is." She said, giving him the number of the room he had stayed in at his last visit.

Jazuchu marched into the inn like he was the king of these people. He gazed around at everyone within. There were some interesting ones tonight. He walked up to Elysia. "Hey. I'd like a room. Preferably one away from those that are taken if you don't mind. After he got a key, he was sure to have some drinks, and maybe flirt with some of the ladies.

Scarlett smirked when a boy randomly came into the inn, acting as if he was king of the inn. He wasgood looking, so maybe she'd decide to flirt with him before retiring to her room. She looked to the bartender. She doubted they would give her a drink unless she had a man with her.. since she wasn't 21 just yet. She was only eighteen and that wasn't even for a few days. She sighed and looked around. She could always have Ace get a drink.

The little halfling girl watched as another entered the Inn. His demeanor was that of an self obsessed demon. She had seen it all the time. Parents of demons would send their kids to the human world in order to show them humility or as an initiation into the family. It always turned out horribly from what she could tell and she had to fight off a couple of them when she was journeying for others. The man who had entered before him was big and seemed to have been here before. Something seeped into her mind. All of these people were tall. None of them would interact with her because she looked like a child. She had always been happy about her height but this one thing was the one thing that would stick to her mind every time she came to a place where she couldnt see her kind anywhere. Sht took a couple large gulps of the pint in front of her. It was hard to believe that something as trivial as this would disturb the workings of her mind.

Aneira sudden;y felt the gaze of many on her form. She reached into her pocket, pulling out a sizable gold coin, placing it on the table for the bartender. She waited until he walked by, before handing it to him. It was enough to pay for maybe ten pints, and she hadn't even finished her first. She got up, adjusting her cloak to completely cover her form. She did not want to attract this much attention from anyone. Mainly because anyone in the tavern could have been a hunter, out for her hide. Aneira picked her bow up, "Excuse me." She said to the male who had originally been watching her before stepping outside into the crisp air.

(( Be prepared for a completely different Dante than your used to. He's different in my mind. LOLZ

:eager: This RP is going to be fun.))

Accepting the key, Dante tossed a smile over his shoulder. "You know me. I'm a creature of habit." Sort of. The same room he'd had before sounded lovely, actually. It was something familiar - something he'd seen before. It had been a while since he'd seen familiar faces or rooms.
Stepping further into the inn Dante scanned over the people once again. A woman with a bow left swiftly, drawing his attention. He didn't give her a second thought after taking a seat at the bar. Ordering a couple drinks, the male leaned against the counter. Shooting a glance to the nearest female, a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. And another woman who's easy on the eyes. When his drink was delivered, he took a long drink. It was time to unwind . . . and perhaps find someone to talk to - preferably female.

The halfling watched as the man who seemed to be familiar with the place walked up to the bar. She finished her pint and put it on the chair next to her, climbing down from the chair and grabbed it again. Walking over to the bar, she could tell that from the height of the chairs and the bar itself, this was going to be a challenge. Daeman put the pint on the seat of the high chair and jumped up on the other side. The cup flipped in the air and the chair almost tipped and fell but she caught the bar and made the chair stop wobbling, then caught the cup behind her, putting it on the bar. "Esqueeze me" She said. If no one else could tell, she was slightly off balance from chugging a whole pint but she wasnt tipsy just yet. Their pints were bigger than the ones back home so of course she would be. "Can I gets anotha one?"

Aneira was outside just for a few minutes. Leaning against the wall. It was nice and cool out for her. Although she would not be able to stay outside in the cold for much longer. Cold-blooded after all. Maybe she was acting a bit too much on edge. She walked around to the front of the inn, going back inside and up to her room. Offering a friendly wave to the owner of the inn. She went upstairs, into her room and pulled her cloak off of her body. Starting a fire in the small fireplace and sat by it. Warming her body. What Aneira didn't realize was she left the door open a crack.

((Wow, Daemon. That looked impressive in my head.))

Julia shifted in her seat, watching the growing crowd through a curtain of her hair. She blinked in surprise when the little one nearly flipped the chair, and smiled when she caught the glass. She let her eyes wander the room, looking from the little one to the kid, then her gaze slid past the damphir and little prince to land on the man leaning against the bar. The white lady had spoken to him as if he'd been here before, and he seemed to be watching the room much like she was. He looked good, pale hair and lean frame... She shook her head. Feeding where you sleep was a bad idea, it could lead people to you. She looked over the room again, trying not to think of how each one smelled.

(( Epic Halfling in the house, lol. The more I read, the more she reminds me of my Halfling rogue character....

And yes, I think this RP will be quite fun. I'm excited, this is the best response from players to any role-play I've made yet! *dances* btw, I'm still going to laugh every time I see that kitten.))

Ti said nothing as the cloaked woman rose, leaving after expressing a quick pardon. He simply stepped aside, allowing her to sweep past him. He shrugged to himself and sat at the table she had left, one foot kicking his bag under the table before he got comfortable. He slid the heavy trench down off his shoulders, exposing the layers of scars on his arms. He paid no heed to the stares of others, he was used to people gawking at the raised marks. Resting his chin in one palm, he leaned onto the table, watching the people about the Inn, his mind ticking off notes about each of them. He remained neutral on the outside, but on the inside expressed various emotions on the happenings around him. The only break in the blank mask was the amused smirk that fell on his lips at the antics off the tipsy halfling.

Elysia's eyelids twitched ever so slightly as the new young man walked in, holding his head high with an air of importance. She smiled once more to Dante as he walked off, then turned to the young man, face and voice pleasant. "Hello and welcome to The Gypsy's Gaze. I can offer you a room, however I am sorry to say I cannot give one that is away from the others. The only rooms I have such as that are reserved for patrons with special needs. The farthest I have would be two rooms down from another guest, would that suffice, sir?" She inquired, her voice calm and soft.

(( Just a note, the bartender as of right now is a NPC, you control him fulfilling requests from your character(s) for now. I'm hopefully having someone take that role up soon.))

Scarlett flirted with the male bartender in order to get any drink her heart desired. She knew it was wrong.. but hell, she needed a drink. She handed him a dollar since he said he would pay for the rest and she looked to the man who had just sat at the bar. She thought she saw him glance at her since she was also at the bar a few seats away but she wasn't one to start conversation. She took a long drink and then sat her glass down, her eyes still looking at the man. He was deffinetly one of the finer men in this room so she shook her head and looked back towards her drink. It was better to not stare. She patted down the sides of her black dress and looked down to her black flats and smirked when she saw her brother sit a few seats down from her.

Ace got out of the tub and dried off, bending over to unplug the drain. He sighed a little to himself and put on his only other pair of clean clothes. It was a black and white striped shirt and then faded jeans. He put on his black and white shoes and made his way down to the bar. He smirked when he saw his sister staring at one of the men there. He rolled his eyes and sat down next to a good looking woman and ordered a beer for himself. He popped the cap off of the glass container and took a long drink.

Dante couldn't help but grin as the halfling went through her antics. "Easy there, little lady." Patting the seat beside him, the man offered a friendly smile. "Are you sure you should have more than that one?" His silver eyes filled with amusement as Daeman resettled. Anything to keep his eyes off of the other woman at the bar . . . which he was struggling with.

Keira sighed when Jazuchu walked into the bar. "Why him?" In the past, the two were friends, but something happened that destroyed their friendship for good. All they did anymore was annoy the other, and Keira didn't want to play that game tonight. She was tired already. She stood up with her pint in her left hand and her black cloak under her right arm and walked over to the bar before sitting it down on the counter.

Jazuchu sighed. It was better than nothing. "It'll suffice." He took the key from the lady and put it in his pocket. He glanced around the bar at the inhabitants. He stopped when he found Keira sitting alone. Ah, hell. Not her. He walked up to the bar and sat on one of the stools. "So Keira, did someone finally find out what type of monster you are? That has to be the only reason you're here"

Elysia gave a nod, and after writing the name he gave down, she handed him the key to his room, letting him know where it would be. Her eyeless gaze followed him as he moved to sit by Keira, the young girl seemed even more distressed by this. She made a mental note about Jazuchu, he seemed to be a troublemaker already....

(YAY... THanks guys... I do try
The kitty makes me squee every time i see it... *SQUEE* hehehe TIS SO CUTE.)

The little halfling was gracious for the man's help. She looked at him and sat down, only her head getting passed the bar height. "I is a halflin' sir." She said with a small slur. "I can drink til i can't drink anymore" The phrase made sense to the little halfling but probably not to the others. The bartender smiled as he gave her another pint. Daeman was amused with the man who had helped her. His image was enough to make any woman stop in her tracks. The platinum hair and slender body seemed awfully beautiful to her. Daeman was the type of halfling not to easily be tricked by the looks of people bigger than her but his just intrigued her. It wasnt something she had seen before. "So whose is i tal'in twos anyway" She asked as she took an innocent sip of her next pint.

((Hooray for kitteh! :3))

Listening to her accented voice made Dante smile. She certainly was an interesting one. "Dante," the man said, offering a hand to the tipsy female. "It's good to meet a girl with honest opinions." She seemed the sort. Maybe it was just because she'd guzzled a pint half her size. . . .
Shooting another glance in Scarlett's direction, Dante forced his attention back to the halfling. "So what are you doing in town? Not many halflings are seen around these parts, little missy." Taking a drink from his own mug, the male rested his elbows on the counter. It was sort of hilarious how he had to look down to see Daeman, but she was probably used to it.

Scarlett was for sure that the boy had been just looking at her so she shot him a flirty glance and took another drink from her mug. From past visions she could tell the girl was a halfling that he was talking too. Her eyes looked around, seeing if she could tell what the others were. She felt odd amongst them since she was only able to have visions of the future and sometimes the past.. but other than that she had no special abilities what- so - ever. She let her bangs fall into her eyes so she could glance back at the man. She knew most of the girls here probably had their eyes on him as well so she would try to not let herself show that she was intrigued by him. She looked towards her brother who was flirting with the girl he sat next too.

Ace had sat next to Julia, deciding flirting would be a fun way to pass the time for a little while. "How'd a beautiful girl such as yourself end up at a place like this?" He asked, taking a swig of his drink. His eyes went to the girls. "Oh.. how rude of me, I'm Ace. And you are?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at her as he rested his elbow on the bar.

Dante seemed amused by her antics. It was funny to the halfling. "Daeman.... like Day and man put together." She used her arms to express the way her name was pronounced. Happily she ordered another drink for Dante so that they could sit and talk, and get drunk like all halflings. Maybe she could get a job from him. Who knows. It was just nice to talk to him. "I had a coople jobs in town. People needed to me for some stuff and of cour' a haflin gotta ge' paid or we don' eat. Ya know?" She asked for a plate of food to go with. Of course she asked it nicely to the bartender. The keep was being really nice so why shouldnt she be nice back. "So what'r ya in town fa? If yas don' mind me askin, that is."

The corner of Julia's mouth twitched up when the boy sat next to her and asked his question. "I'm Julia," she said in a soft voice, pronouncing the 'j' almost like a 'y', "And I walked here, the same as you probably did." She raised one hand to brush her hair out of her face, revealing her violet-brown eyes. Conversation might help keep her mind occupied. "I needed a place to stay, and this looked like the sort of place I wouldn't be chased out of. I was right." She gave him a small smile. "Now I ask in return, why did you pick this place for the night?"

"Hmm?" Dante blinked his attention back to Daeman as she asked her question. He'd been distracted by the young woman at the other end of the counter . . . the flirtatious glances they'd been passing back and forth were a bit distracting.
Focusing on the halfling beside him, Dante cleared his throat. "I'm just passing through," he said, blinking a few times before finally looking back to Daeman. His silver gaze filled with amusement. "A wronged man is always on the lookout for revenge." Taking a drink of the next mug that was set before him, the male ended up tossing a coin to the bartender. He felt bad having this halfling pay for him.
"You haven't seen anyone wearing a dark cloak and carrying around some sort of staff, have you?" That was a fat chance - every traveler out there owned a normal staff and cloak. It was a sorcerer that Dante was after. With a sly smile in Scarlett's direction, the cursed man sighed quietly and took a swig from his cup again. "That nasty bast-" cutting himself off, Dante frowned. "That man has been keeping a good distance from me, and I really want to settle something with him."
