Michelle already something strange was going on with her professor over the past few weeks. She also wonder where did the guy eat most places would be already closed and also he always left eariler rushing off to whatever. But she didn't try to get that to bother her much. Of course it did wonder across her mind that her professor wasn't normal. Michelle stretches and winces alittle she had an bandage on her forhead which she had a few stitches in it where an ball had hit her in the face during an game. Michelle rubs her forehead alittle fixing the bandage. She walks to class and heads to her usual seat.

Vincent conducted class as usual. He smelled blood ,but it was a faint smell. Not enough to arouse his senses. He saw that Miss Cole had a bandage on her forehead. they held discussions on the assignments and he assigned a 10 page paper . He gave a list of topics he would like to see. All of them were covered in the readings they did. he gave the requirements that he wanted in the paper. Assigning more chapters and reading he dismissed the class. For once he hadn't dismissed them early.

Michelle rubs her forehead abit sorely as it hurt. And of course it was hard to focus on her work with this pain. She continues with her work and looks at the time by the time the class was dismissed and see it wasn't that earily. But it still didn't help with her supsencions. Michelle still thoguht something was strange with her professor. And anyone like her would better watch out or it would just lead her into trouble someday. She hanged back again so she could talk to the professor hoping he wouldn't mind.

Once the rest of the students left. She stuffs her book into her bag and grabs her bag and her tennis bag as well. Michelle moves up from her sit and walks up to the desk. "Hmm Professor Russel. I know I usual hand my work in on time but I might be little bit late with this assignement because with my other classes and also the tennis tournment coming up I'm abit stretched. I hope it won't hurt me to much if I do hand in this assignment."

" Don't worry . It's due next class but as long as it's in before the end week. " he said quietly so the other students wouldn't hear . " Good luck on your tennis tournament . I promise to record it and watch it when I am able." Vincent did record the sporting events from the college network . He wanted his students and the other staff to feel he cared about the school.

Michelle smiles glad to hear that and nods "Thank you Professor. Geez I don't know anyone like you can handle staying up during the night. Sometimes I wonder if you are an vampire or something but somepeople thinks I am crazy or something. I guess being that sensetion to the sun can be hard." shrugged and giggles gently. She brushes back some of her hair out of her face and rubs her forehead "At lease I hope I don't get hit in the face again like I did last night."

" It is hard but I've learned to live with it . That's you who prataces at night? I've watched you then. You are very good! Just be careful and keep an eye out for anything strange. " he didn't comment on him being a vampire, it would be terrible if he denied the fact, but he could never let any one know.

Michelle nods "Yes its praticely the only time I can pratice without my team of course. We usual praticed on the weekends but unlike them I am focus into it so I need the pratice especial if I want to pull first place." shrugged. She turns around and grabs her bag "Thats great..anyway I need to get some pratice in before I go home..cya later Professor Russel." and walks out of the class room and heads to the tennis courts.

He saw her leave . He didn't want to see her hurt. He left to find a victim on the outskirts of town . He came back 30 minutes later to his apartment. He had gotten into a disscussiin with another vampire . Felix was an old friend of his. He told Vincent about a group of rouge vampires that had been reported a few states away . Felix told Vincent to keep an eye out for anything strange. Vincent hoped Michelle was safe. He thought she was a wonderful person . He wanted her to succeed .

It takes her an hour or so to pratice before she heads to the locker room to change. Once she was clean and dressed she stuffs her pratice clothes in the bag and grabs them. She was used to walk home by herself as she wasn't that afraid of the dark but tonight was different. Michelle stops and turns around to look around abit before she sighs Michelle stop trying to scary yourself.. she thought to herself. She sighs gently brushes some of her hair back as she couldn't help but to feel she was being followed by something as she starts walking home.

Vincent sensed something strange and left his apartment. He saw Michelle walking toward the dorms and a vampire following her . He attacked the vampire and realized he was one of the rouge ones. They fought for an hour with him barely making irt out alive. He would have to stay in for the next few days so he could heal. He was hoping Michelle didn't hear anything as he was fighting. He would have to keep an eye on her.

Michelle had ran to the dorms to her room not even knowing what had happen. Maybe she needed to stop praticing at night or something but she always felt save on the campus anywhere else well it was an different story. Michelle got dressed for bed and falls asleep lucky the next day was the weekend so it would give her time to check up on with her work and pratices.

Vincent spent the weekend recovering and preparing for his next class. He hadn't sensed any other vampires since that night. He hoped he woulnt have to fight any more rouge vampires. He let Felix know about what had happened. Felix would let his contacts know to be cautious . The next class arrived and Vincent was waiting for his students to arrive.

Michelle heads to class nearly being late this time but lucky she made it in but everyone else was in there seat. She gulps abit and looks over at Professor "Sorry for being late..I was running to get something to eat and relieze I would almost be late." still had the bag of taco bell food in her hand as she takes an sip of her drink. She walks over and sits down while most of the guys in the back snickered at her. Michelle shot them a glare before putting her books on the desk top.

Vincent said that was alright but to be on time for the next class. He didn't like it that the other students laughed at her. He first had to tell them about the attacks on campus late at night. Vincent knew it wasn't him,but the rouge vampires. Campus security didn't want any students to be left alone going to and from classes at night and always go in groups. He then lectured and assigned more work and collected the homework. Class dismissed and he felt he should leave to make sure his students were safe. He would wait until they all left.

Michelle sighs gently knew it would had been her being attacked. She was closed but it probbly won't stop her from praticing at night. SInce many of the tennis players that was in classed would head to the tennis courts later. She eats her food during class hoping the professor wouldn't mind. Once after class was over her and two other girls would head to the tennis courts.

Vincent was near the tennis courts watching the girls. He didn't want to see them hurt. He didn't need to feed tonight. He was careful not to be seen or sensed. He hoped they would be alright. He had to do his part to protect the students.

Michelle stretches as she takes an break as she was already tired. She told the girls she was going to go back to the dorms. Hoping she just make it there on her own. She heads to the locker room to grab her stuff before heading out and goes back to the dorms.

He saw Michelle leave. He would make sure she would make it safely to her dorm. If she asked why he was out tonight, he would say he needed fresh air. He

Michelle blinks as she felt like someone was following her before she stops and turns around seeing the professor. "Oh Professor Russel..I didn't know you was still here..working late?" says fixing her bag on her shoulder.

" I am. I was just about to head back to my office. Would you like me to escort you to your dorm? " He knew the other professors were doing that during the night classes.

Michelle looks at him as she nods. She takes an look around brushes back some of her hair from her face. She looks back over at her professor and nods "Sure I know I shouldn't be alone going back in the dark. But I couldn't stop my friends from praticing themselfs so there was no other person to go with. But sure I would like that very much, professor."

Vincent led Michelle to her dorm ." Would you like me to check on your teammates?" He knew Felix was helping him protect the innocent. Vampires didn't like it when innocent people were attacked. Things had changed. They only ate what they needed and only the ones that wouldn't be missed. They knew there were other vampires that still went by the old code. They knew someday that Humanity may find out about them.

Michelle heads back to her room as she unlocks the door and opens it. She turns around and looks at him as she nods "Yea if they are still there but they probbly are already heading back to their dorm. But sure it kinda surpises me..there had never been any attacks here before on campus. I wonder why now." says as she sets her bags in the chair next to the door.

" Times are different now. Change is a good thing but there are bad aspects to every time period. I'll see you next week in class." Vincent said and said good bye . He went back to the tennis courts but the girls were gone . He could tell they were back in there dorms safe. He went back to his home and did some paperwork before bed.

Michelle nods and said good bye to the professor. She closes the door and did alittle bit of homework before heading to bed. She had an hard time sleeping feeling something wasn't right. She opens her eyes and looks around her room but see nothing was there. Michelle figure she just had an nightmare as she stands up out of bed to make sure her room was locked before heading back to bed.
