Serenity yawned as light poured in through her window.She had never felt so rested in her life.Still half asleep she snuggled closer to Dannalhe and without realizing what she was doing she kissed him.Being in such a state of relaxation caused her people to be in a dream like state without knowing they're awake making it difficult to define the difference between dream and reality.Serenity suddenly became aware of her surroundings she flushed a pale pink.She blinked and realized she was staring into Dannalhe's eyes.Serenity screamed loud enough to break her mirror which now reflected a broken serenity.

Dannalhe gasped feeling Serenity kissing him and fell off the bed clutching his ears. He curled up in pain and shook after her scream. He then looked up, blood running down from his ears. "W-why...?" he gasped in pain and then crumpled on the ground. The thong shapeshifters had in common with elves was their sensative hearing, very sedative. Shaking he stared shocked at the blood that dripped to the floor as he laid there curled up with the shards of the glass mirror.

Serenity saw blood drip from not only Dannalhe's her,but her own as well.She shuddered as the ringing in her had finally stopped.She knew she hadn't done any real damage to there hearing."S-sorry.."was all she could manage to say."I should be hating you not kissing you."She whined.Serenity was confused.She headed to the bathroom and grabbed a few towels so her and Dannalhe could clean up the blood and glass mess in her room.All she could do was stare at Dannalhe as he wiped away the bloody mess she had caused him.

Dannalhe was silent as she appologized to him, angered that she went from asking him to stay the night to hating him in under twelve hours of time. He did his best not to look angry as he shifted his hands, making them string enought so the glass wouldn't cut him wnd swiftly began picking up the pieces and throwing them in her trash can. "Im sorry for kissing you.... I should be getting ready to go...." he said, his voice crestfallen and his eyes hardening with sadness. He slowly stood, looking around the floor, making sure there wasn't anymore shattered pieces. He then looked at her and away, waiting for her to say something before he left.

Serenity grabbed his hand and looked down."I-I don't hate you.....I'm just confused....I was never taught how to love.."Serenity was in tears.When she was little her parents never took care of her because the maids and butlers did it for them.She was never taught what real love was, and because her parents fought and "hated" each other she mistook that for love.She looked up at Dannalhe and tried to look mad,but failed as the tears continued to stream down her cheeks."I guess you have to go...."She whispered."I guess this is goodbye...."

Dannalhe turned around quite shocked and shook his head. "Thats horrible." he whispered and then took her hand. "Come with me Serenity.... Come to my kingdom with me.... I can teach you what love is there." he said and then smiled gently and kissed her cool knuckles. He then smiled widely at her and then sighed. "My brother and I barely came into this world.... And we and mother were very sick for the longest time.... But my brother died a few years ago.... He was my twin." he said and put his hand over his heart and whispered a small blessing for his deceased brother. "If anyone knew love, it was my brother.... And taking you to my homeland and showing you what he did to change the people.... Love can conquer all." he said and then looked at her smiling as he straightened. "Will you come with me?"

Serenity flushed as Dannalhe told his story of his kingdom.She looked up at him."What about my people?"Serenity may not show it,but she was genuinely concerned for her people.Ever since her grandfather ruled riots were breaking out and wars were being started because her grandfather was so power hungry.Being her parents were next im line for the throne they ended up dealing with the consequences."Well......I suppose so.."Serenity looked up at him hoping to find some bit of reassurance in his dark eyes.She realized this was the first time she really saw love....And it was staring right in the face.

Dannalhe looked at Serenity and took her hand. "Sometimes it is best to leave a problem for a tiny while before coming back to it." he said wisely and smiled. "If you get to understand our ways in my kingdom, maybe it will help you to figure out how to take care of your people better." he offered with reasurrence and then smiled widely. "Its only an option, you don't have to come with me if you don't want to. I would never force you to do anything you didn't want to do, serenity." he said, his accent seeming to make her name sound mystical and magical like the singing of angels. Brushing his messing shoulder length black hair out of his face again he waited for her desicion, for she needed to make it soon if they wanted to get to his home by the end of the day.
