He slowly added more speed over the time, his silver colored hair flew every way it could in the wind. Dorian slightly smiled at the suddenly stillness of the princess, she had stopped fighting for awhile now. He just hope she didn't vomit on him.

When a clearing appear with a long stone bridge miles high, the bottom of the pillars so far gone only shadows rested there. Slowly he came to a stop, across the bridge was a eerie graveyard. Centuries of weather had decayed the tombstones, trees and everything else. The ground was hidden by a small cloud of fog that never left. Beyond the graveyard was a forest just as eerie, obvious reasons screamed evil lurked there. He adjusted the princess on his shoulder. The sun was closer to raising but once inside the forest he would be safe from it, but not from the evil spirits.

Finx opened her eyes and exhaled slowly before kicking him again. "Let me go yah jerk." she hissed.

She managed to get him a good kick that hurt him but he held on to her. "Knock it off, you're already miles from your castle." He hissed back to her hatefully, at this point he just wanted to get her to the castle.

He dashed off as fast as he could across the bridge, gaining more and more speed. He ignored the howling of the spirits and creatures coming to the sound of his footsteps. The creatures were horrid in appearance and did unspeakable things to their victims. He rushed faster to the castle miles away from the bridge, the faster he moved the more the creatures fallowed, no doubt the princess could see them struggling to keep up.

The creatures were miniature werewolves, their skins rotting to ash, black and slimy in appearance. Some of the bones showed as spikes poked out randomly at places. The spirits wore just as horrid but were transparent, more ghoulish then anything. He smiled at her reaction when she finally saw the things chasing them.

"There so gross no wonder fairies see you vampires as a lesser race if you keep those things around." Finx said crinkling her nose is distaste. "Honestly can you put me down or something you're crushing me blossoms." she said refering to her small wings they could do anything but it was still uncomfortable to have them crushed or broken they were a part of her body like her legs.

He came to a stop in a old courtyard, the the castle appeared as ancient as the graveyard. With a simple shrug he dropped the princess on the ground and magically sealed the gate with a wave of his hand. The creatures snarled as they came to the gate, some paced back and forth while the others rested through the bars trying to grab the princess.

Dorian glared at the creatures. "Those creatures aren't 'pets.'" He hissed darkly and turned for the castle. "If they catch you, you'll suffer the worse death imaginable." He hissed over his shoulder before entering the castle.

Finx just shook her head "you know kidnapping is not the best way to get on anyones side especially not the captives family." Finx said stretching her bloosom out with a sigh. "Hope you realize I can't stay in a room with no windows I am basically a plant after all and plants need sunlight so oh and I like to drink sprite and only eat vegtables."

Dorian just shrugged off what she said, he didn't really care. She had irritated him earlier that evening. Without closing the door, he headed up the stairs while another man walked down the entrance stairs. "Good evening, sir..." The man started before he was glared at.

The man stood on the stairs then shrugged it off, he was use to the prince treating him like that when he was annoyed. The man came down the stairs and looked out the door to see the princess on the ground. "Oh my...." He was surprised that Dorian went through with it. He walked up to her and held out his hand. "Welcome to castle Draegan, my princess. I am Erik, I will be serving you during your stay." He said slightly without emotions.

"Can't you get a girl to serve me or maybe a fairy at least they would know what to do." Finx said with a sigh "Well I'll need a room with sunlight a sprite and some salad...please." she said out of habit she was us to treating the servants at her castle well.

Erik kept his hand out, hoping she would take it so he could help her up. "Sorry, I'm the only servant in the castle and all the rooms have sunlight, most of the windows are broken though. The only rooms with boarded windows are my masters and mine." He replied. "If you come with me, I'll take you to a room of your liking and get you the items you requested." He said, no emotions lingering at all in his voice.

"My master will be gone for a little, I would advise however not to run. The creatures are not friendly in these parts... Specially to faeries." He said not realizing that Dorian had lied to her about being the prince.

Finx took his hand with a sigh. "Fine I guess any room with sun will do really even if it has no bed."

He helped her to her feet with ease once he had her hand. "It may be broken down, it's a long story on why; however every bedroom and quest room have every utensil needed for a comfortable stay here. We're not barbarians, despite my masters kidnapping." He let go of her hand and motioned her to the door, he had the perfect place to give her as her room. It was a green house attached to the house, the sun roofs were surprisingly still in one piece and had the same decoration as the large windows inside the castle hallways. When he heard that she was being kidnapped, he cleaned it up and turn it into a room for her. He gave her a large Victorian styled bedroom set and fixed the up bathroom right next to the room for her.

"Its just inside, all the way down the left hallway, take a right and its the last door on the right. You have access to the bathroom next to the room and the small garden at the end of the hall." He said in the same emotionless voice.

Finx plopped down next to a window. "I think I'm good right here." she said letting her blossoms soak up the sunlight technicaly she was to old to be growing and she didn't need greens or sunlight as much but she wanted her blossom to become wings like the other fairies.

Erik just looked at her, he now understood why Dorian was in a bad mood. "Please, my princess. I worked hard on your room for weeks, I made it private for you and so you could have a inside garden." He said still emotionless. "I modeled it how my late bride use to like her rooms." He replied hoping she would at least look.

Up the stairs and down the right hallway, Dorian flipped through a old book in the library. He basically lived in the room, so heavy curtains stayed closed blocking out the sun. The candles flicker when he slammed the covers shut and toss them aside. He did care if the princess gave Erik a hard time, it was his job to care for her.

Finx sighed "Oh very well I'll go but if I faint you better explain why to mister fairie kidnapper." she pulled herself to her feet and continued toward her room she opened the door and sank to the floor closest to a window of any kind.

He fallowed her to the room and watched her. When she sunk to the floor, he decided to receive her requested items. "I hope it is to your liking." He reached for the door handle. "I will return shortly with your salad and beverage." He said before closing the door and heading down the hallway to the kitchen.

Inside the kitchen he begin making the salad, the salad was green and the other ingredients were just as fresh. He place the lettuce on a crystal plate, laid thin slices of strawberries and sparkled softly roasted almonds over it. He placed a small dipping bowl of homemade dressing to the side on a serving plater, the dressing was sweet to bring out the natural flavors of the salad. He added a crystal glass of dark red juice just as sweet. He placed a silver fork on a soft white napkin before taking plater back to the room.

He knocked on the princess' room door. "Excuse me my princess, I have your items you requested." He said through the closed door.

"I hope its all veggies and fruits I generally don't like anything else." Finx said looking over at him from were she sat in the sunlight filtering threw the window she didn't feel as exhausted as she had before but she didn' feel like moving either.

He opened the door slowly before walking in and carefully set the plater down near her. "It has almonds, I hope you don't mind. I know little of faeries food, what I do know. I learnt from my old bride." He said lightly.

"Were you married to a fairy?" Finx found that highly unlikely but she felt curios and it was better to talk to someone else then to yourself.

He looked down at the ground, and softly sigh. "No, we never made it down the isle." He leaned against the wall near her. "You know, nothing is more romantic then a forbidden love." He said barely cracking a smile, he knew she wouldn't believe that not all vampires are heartless at first but in time she would; at least he hoped.

He looked at her. "An interesting fact about us male vampires is that we are hopeless romantics... Once you get past the stereotypic characteristics that the prince is putting off." He said going back to his same emotionless state.

"Wait!" Finx held her hand up to stop him from going any further. "You're telling me a fairy feel in love with a vampire and that you actually loved her back...i thought vampires didn't have hearts."

He looked back at the ground. "Yes, I loved her with all my heart... I still do. Some vampires aren't as bad as you think, my princess." He emotionless state never left as he talked. "You see, when a male vampire falls in love, truly in love. They stay forever devoted to their love... even after death..." He said the last part with sadness.

"All right then it's still kinda wierds and fairy and vampire in love...doesn't seem possible but you have no reason to make it up." Finx said with a sigh. "Were her wings pretty? What season did she first get her bloosom? Me I'm a summer Winter fairy thats why there so white." she said shifting so her bloosom could be seen.

He closed his eyes, remembering her appearance vividly. "Her wings were trimmed in dark shades of winter sunsets that surrounded crystallized shades of lavenders and golds. Her wings would make any faerie envious." He smiled remember how they glittered in the moon light, he missed her more then anything but tragic endings sought out forbidden romances like a beacon.

"She must have been a fall fairy then all winter fairies have white wings pure white well fall fairies born close to winter would have a white base but red, brown or orange on them." Finx said. "I'm envious of every fairy I mean come on my wings are still bloosoms."

He stopped smiling when he opened his eyes and looked at the princess. "She never spoke much of the world she came from. Our love was hard enough with the differences. She always told me: 'The past was behind us, to love is to be blind, we sacrifice our beings just for what time we have together.' " He said in his emotionless tone. "She was right, it was just blood, a simple difference of race. It does not change the way your heart goes." He said looking away from her.
