ElysiumFate: Firstly, I feel like I am talking to you all over Menewsha! Haha. :)
Secondly.
Yes. lol
I know that feeling - I think its impressive that we recognize that though, and just avoid the unnecessary drama! :)

Smores: Lol, it happens in small web communities like this!
Yeah, I'm not perfect about it, but I've seen so many people go off on undeserving souls, so I try not to do the same. Plus, like you said, I hate the drama.

It depends on where I am at the time of being stressed out, and what I have access to. The short answer is: Electronics.
The complicated answer is as follows:
In the best case scenario, I'm at home, or heading home, or have things packed with me for an outing with friends. And access to wi-fi. What usually happens is I grab one of my go-to video games, preferably one that has mindless hack and slash levels/areas to it, and then I go beat the snot out of digital demons. Because after I've been made to feel small and insignificant, it's nice to go save the lives of a Universe/reality depended on heroes to keep the order. And if I'm at home when I do this? I usually have a mug of tea, or too big glass of soda to knock back.
If for some reason I can't do the above? I slip on my headphones, and grab my laptop, and just crank the music I need to get through the moment, possibly channeling my emotions into writing. But there are times I'm so enraged by whatever I can't write, so I read online stories instead. And there are even rarer instances where I have to let it all out, and vent about it with my friends over an instant messenger, or even make one of my almost non-existent posts to my LJ.
So, yeah, I think it all boils down to reaching for my friends, and channeling my emotions into something semi-productive, or at least non-damaging. I always come back to my friends, and I try to be there for when they need the same. And if it happens to be one of my friends frustrating me, then I tend to reach for my other friends to remind me why I love the offending party so much.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of how I react, or what I do, when I'm denied access to all of the above at once, and then get stressed out. Although . . . there might have been one time. . . And I dealt with it by keeping my mouth shut, and then when I was out of ear-shot of the guy, started venting with my one friend, whom I was driving home, dropped him off, drove home, vented to parents, and then got on my laptop to read stories and blast music, and pretend the man had never spoken to me before, nor would ever darken my life again.
. . . I probably don't handle stress very well. @w@

Chocolate. XD I dunno. Food is comforting, which is dangerous.
Also, exercise and Reiki. :)

Television. :lol: I know, that doesn't come out quite right, "I reach for television," but you get what I mean. :lol: I always distract myself when I start getting too stressed, and my preferred method of doing so is to start watching a show. Although I've gotten a little too good at distracting myself from stressful things. Now I tend to forget to deal with them at all. :?

That's lovely a familiar scent, and something from a loved one. I don't have anything physical that I reach for though.
I guess I reach for time alone, with my thoughts. First I try and calm down, using reason, and since it's usually procrastinated school work that's got me stressed, I usually just do it.
@ Cherry ::
I'm with you on that forgetting business. I don't use tv, but avoiding is still avoiding.
Good or bad.

my first call when i'm stressed is food,
which really does provide relief :lol: or at least temporarily ; ~;
also the computer - it takes me away from it all so!
computer is great during hard times <3 like Cherry said though,
sometimes it's easy to get too far away:/

Well, for the most part it's just curling up on my bed under the blankets with Mousie. Mousie is my favorite stuffed animal, I got her when I was five the last time I had pneumonia. I don't remember much, just that it was kind of dark and I was scared and tired and really out of it, and there was a huge needle and they gave me Mousie to hold. I think she may have come from someplace else before then, because her tail is knotted. Either way though, she's good at making me feel better whether I'm sick or emotional. :]
And if none of that helps, I text my big brother to talk with him. He's level-headed and can help out of most situations.

If I'm very sad or angry, I play loud music and pace around my room punching stuff. I haven't had to do that in a while though. If I'm just a little stressed, I take a break and have some coffee or a nap.

Usually when I'm stressed out, it's because of some deadline, homework, studying, etc.
So I usually stress out until it's my bedtime and then go to sleep.
Taking a nice, warm shower helps too. C:
