My first complete outfit was made during the 2008 Valentine's day event and it looked like this:
I basically slapped on all the CIs I was able to buy, the EIs I liked best, and the Vday commons I bought at 50% off. It just seems like a pretty random outfit to me now, I am pretty sure my only purpose with this outfit was to show off the rares I was able to get. I remember that the very first piece of clothing I bought on mene was a green t-shirt just so I wasn't completely naked and then after that I focused on saving enough money to buy panda slippers.

I don't think I started saving my avatars until around a year and a half after I started on Mene. I just remember I joined so early, everything was still considered super expensive and there were hardly any items for us to really make an outfit with in the first place!

This is my first avatar, lol.

I joined two years ago, made an avatar, and then just stopped.

But I returned just yesterday, mainly for the games hehe.

Oh, but my hair was a different style, and it was black =w=

It won Admin's Pick, which was a really awesome welcome to the site. It looks quite silly to me now, and is obviously nothing like how I dress currently, but there it is! I remember the next one I made was similar, but with light purple instead of pink, as a bunch of lavender items had come out in the Halloween event. I don't have that one saved, but I remember I had lavender hair, the small black and purple witch hat, the lavender and black striped stockings, and I think the yumeh ghosts. The rest was unchanged, though.

It was actually from a glitch! Originally I was only wearing the yellow teenie skirt, but one of the skirt layers was moved. So anyone who was wearing a skirt before it changed didn't have that move applied until they took it off and put it back on, so you could put on another skirt that was supposed to be on the same layer. My bunny is hiding most of the parts where the black skirt stuck out on the side, so it kind of looks like a black border on the skirt, doesn't it! Except for those pesky pixels on the other side, but I'm pretending not to notice those. :ninja:

My first avatar was very sucky >_> it was all pink :gonk: everything! I started from studio thing shop and bought every pink item from there and at the last I was a pink lady >.> if I had the picture I would show it but sadly I don't have it :( and if you would've seen that outit, you would laugh a lot xD

This was my first -complete- avatar.
I'm pretty satisfied with it if I do say so myself.
I did make an edited version of it for Valentine's this year though.

I did actually!
Most of the big items were donated to me,
or I had gold donated to obtain my items. >.<

Yeah, I couldn't thank them enough for their generosity.
It took a while to get a few donations in.
Most came from charities or contests.

I agree. c: It was 2007, so the items we had were rather limited. But I was so proud of that avatar, mainly because the crown took so long to get. ;_;
