It was 48 hours before the games start so first they had to go training with someone who had won in one of the pasts games before. And therefore they would have a mentor to train them for the next few days until the start of the games.

(yea its short..I had a writers block this time =P. Hmm you want to do alittle time skip to the day of the games?)

Both Dawn and Kain was fitted with a tracker pin on their clothes so the gamemakers could track all the tributes doing the game. The first part of the games was going to be hard since they was still weaponless and without supplies. She knew that all of them would need to end up afforting the mines or whatever else the gamemakers had to make it to Cornucopia. So even thought she didn't like being around Kain they would have to work together to get their supplies and stuff. And after who knows what would happen. She was place into the one of the glass tubes before that she would catch a look at all the other tributes from the other districts. Dawn was praticely studing them. Kain would stop at her tube before he heads to hers "Hey you know we are end this together.." he would said. Dawn looks back at Kain "Shh...do you mind you making me loose my focus Kain just get to your tube already." says. Kain sighs and heads to his.

Angel and Trish have to be prodded apart by both hers and his stylist to go to their tubes. "Remember find each other and never seperate, you'll do fine." Angels said Trishes nodding in agrement. They finally get to their tubes. Angel wold have to get a bag of supplies and get out of there. They were snuck their toxic pendants by their stylist, as good luck they said." he smiled at the thought.

Once every one was in their tubes. The tubes would slowly rise from out of the ground into the arena. First thing it did worry her abit about those mines that they have hidden. Dawn looks around at the sky before waiting for the gong to ring. She figure if the other tributes set off the mines she could follow that path to make it there to get her supplies. Dawn closes her eyes and takes a few breaths before hearing the gong ring out in loud bongs. And like what she thought some of the younger tributes got killed on the spot when they step out of the tubes.Both Dawn and Kain came out of their tubes and heads toward jumping over some already dead bodies to go to Cornucopia. They was the first ones to each there. Dawn looks around and found the weapons she been wanted. Grabbing the small bag of daggers and a sword blade. She straps it around waist and chest. And that was the only thing she had in common with Kain was the same taste in weapons. Then grab a bag of supplies with food, water, and first aid kit.

Angel and trish go for the cornicopia, they had this figured out, he'd get weapons, she'd get supples, he grabbed a bow and trowing knives, she grabbed to bags of supplies and bolted for the side of the arena with the most cover, the woods. He almost didn't make it but a the tribute that tried hitting him with the throing axe missed and killed another tribute and he and trish got to the woods safely, they ran for half an hour before stopping and he helped her up a tree and he climbed the same tree to the sturdy branch she got to, he handed her the knives and smiled her thanks. He checked his quiver of arrows for his bow, he had a dozen and a half, great they'll have to do, the bow looked to be a powerful bow and he could definately use it.

One of the female tributes comes at her with a spear but Dawn quicky dodges it. Kain quickly throws a throwing star about two from his weapons at the female. The female didn't see it coming and they hit her right in the chest. That gave them time to go and find some place that was safe to get ready. But both of them know this place was never save cause what was worst beside tributes killing others was the creatures that live in the forest. "Thanks..that was a quick throw.." says looking at Kain catching her breath. She looks around to make sure no one was was close as she place a few daggers from the bag and hides one in each boot before tieing the bag around her waist. Kain shrugged "It was just a reflex thats all." looks around alittle "But we can't stay here long we got to keep moving..and figure out our next move." grabbing the supply bag as he decide he would carry it for them. But first Dawn would check out the stuff in the bag so she knew what was in there..beside the food,water, and first aid.there was different things in there that could be hangy.

They checked out the supplies that trish picked up. Between the two packs was two light sleeping bags, two coils of rope, food, water canteens he knew wouldn't have water in them and a small first aid kit. They replaced the supplies and each shouldered a back pack of supplies and dicussed their next move. While doing so Angel slung his quiver over his shoulder and trish tied the knives at her waist.

They would start to move deeper into the forest. She looks around just listening out if anyone or anything was coming. And it was kinda hard with Kain talking. Dawn stops and slaps him across the head "Do you mind? your loud and I'm trying to listen to make sure no one is around. Last thing I want is a lot of people ambushing us." as she was serious about this. Kain rubs the back of his neck "Oh..sorry...but you know how I am." Dawn glares at him "Some man you are..." rolls her eyes. Only wishing she had someone else from her district. Clearly Kain wasn't going to survive long which was going to be kinda hard for her. Even thought he was always on her nerves and being her ex she still kinda was worried. And it was a sign she wasn't completely over the breakup.

He could hear people in the distance and he told Trish that they should be quiet in a whisper. She heard the people talking and nodded. Angel had his bow ready, an arroe in the same hand as the bow just in case.

Dawn wasn't completely sure how many tributes was left cause it was hard to tell during all those mines. Dawn bents down and checks something. It did look like foot steps clearly someone wasn't good covering their tracks. "I think someone went this way..." whispers. Kain walks over "You think they will be coming back this way..." says watching her as he looks around. She would shrugged "I don't know but it would be a good place to set a trap...wasn't there some wire in that bag." Kain drops the bag from his bag and looks thru it. He found it and shows it to her "Want me to set the trap?" Dawn gives him an look and nods. Kain nods he would make the trap from a few blades he had then made a trip wire. If anyone came across the trap they would get sharp surpise.

Angel saw this and knew that Trish's foot prints had been spotted, but that wasen't her fault, though he was still somewhat new to it too so it could have been him, though he was better then Trish was. He saw the trap and thought about setting it off but didn't. Instead he quietly watched as Trish did.

Another person had also been watching the two set a trap for someone else. That have gave him the time to get revenge. While Kain had his back turn and Dawn looking about. The guy from district 4 would act quickly before both Kain and Dawn could act. And since district 4 is known for fishing the guy had an trident in his hand. And first thing he came at was Dawn since Kain went after his partner and killed her. The guy decide to do the same and goes after Dawn. Dawn wasn't paying attention she was just waiting for Kain to be done. Kain was already finish but saw the guy going after Dawn.

It look like guy was about to kill Dawn. Kain couldn't let that happen as he still cared about her to much. So the only thing he could thing to do was to jump in between him and Dawn. "Dawn! watch out!" screams out when he jumped in front of the trident. The guy stabs the trident into Kain and Kain winces lot but he didn't yell when the sharp points of the trident went right into him. Dawn's eyes widen seeing Kain had sacficed himself to save her. Kain had enought strenght to hold onto the trident as the guy struggles to pull it out. Dawn would kick the guy back causing the guy to loose his balance and falls right into the trap. As alot of daggers come from where they was hiding and went into the guy. Dawn pants watching the guy let out his last breath. Then rushes over to Kain pulling out the trident before grabbing the bag and searches it for something. "You idiot..why did you have to do that?" says in a somewhat mixed tone. Kain coughs up blood before he spoke "Because I...I...still l...l..love you (coughs)...n..no matter what you thin...(coughs)k.." breaths heavy. Dawn sighs deeply "Yea well your still stupid...now shut up.." grabs a towel and presses it down on his chest like it would do any help.

He sees this and keeping his weapon watches. He kept that rage this made him feelkept, seperating someone like that. Then he spots a tribute from 1 coming up, the tribute must have seen Trish but not Angel because he had a knife in his hand, Angel acts quickly and shots him in the head but the knife was thrown and it hit where her head was before he pulled her to him and she thanked him. The knife was stuck in the tree and the boy from 1 was now dead, which was unheard of for the tributes from one to die so early, their was still the girl of course and he'd have to worry about her. He then thought of something why was a carreer all on his own? this worried him. He searched for the others and didn't see anything, then it hits him. He was scouting the area for the other tributes. Trish looked at Angel worriedly. "What's wrong?" she asked him. "He was souting out the rest of us, when he doesn't return the careers will come looking for him, we have to move and have those two move as well. She nodds and both of them get down, he keeps his bow out but no arrows, he walks up to the girl from 12. "Dawn, we thought we should warn you that the careers will be coming at anytime, I just stopped the boy from 1 from killing my girlfriend and I suspect he was scouting us out for the rest of them to find us. We mean you no harm, just to warn you of the coming danger of the careers." he said then he was off with Trish following looking for another hiding place to snipe from if he had to but otherwise stay unseen.

The bleeding wouldn't stop as it look bad for Kain. But Dawn was to stuborn to let Kain die even thought he lost to much blood. She looks up seeing the two from 13 coming over saying what had happen. Clearly the other careers was targeting them. "Alright..thanks..." says looking over. She did her best to hide her emotions especial since this was watching by millions on tv. She would help Kain but he just falls over. "Dawn..I can't move...you must go now...(coughs)" Kain says with a weak voice. Dawn shakes her head "No I can't leave you here..." says holding back the tears which was already in her eyes. Kain takes her hand "Go...if I move anymore my death will come faster..maybe then I can hold off the others from getting you and the others.." Dawn knew this agruement wouldn't in "Fine...whatever..." says. Dawn gathers up the bag and got what ever the guy from 4 had. She left the trident with Kain before she runs off but stops. She turns around and saw Kain staring at her before heading away to find another hiding spot. She hated to leave Kain behind like that but it was true he was already dieing. So what he could do was to hold off anyone else as long he could to make sure Dawn and the others was a safe distance away.

Angel saw Dawn and reached down from the tree that him and Trish had climbed. "Up here." he said. "You can trust us, we know how it is." they did, they high the district number like 12 and 13 and 11 had the least advantages. He wanted to team up with her to take care of the careers and the rest that were alive.

Dawn heard her name and looks up seeing Angel and Trish was in the tree. She runs over to the tree and climbs up then takes Angel's hand to be helped the rest of the way. "Thanks..." says it was kinda hard still leaving Kain behind. Either way he wouldn't have made it here anyway alive cause he was wounded to bad. Dawn sat down on one of the limbs and looks around before looking back over at them. "So..whats our next move?" rubbing her eyes alittle but she didn't let a tear drop. She would be to embaressed cry infront of them.

After he helped her up and he asked this he had to think about it. "Well, okay I must ask what do you have for weapons, if it can be ranged we can use that and stay in the trees, if it's something like a sword, I remember now seeing a sheath on you, you can cut the tributes that are stupid enough to cross under then we can move the bodies so we aren't found after just one kill." he said thinking of stealthy was to survive, and he could even get him, his girlfriend and this girl from 12 out of here alive. He whispered his thought. "I want to get me and my girlfriend, Trish, as well as you out as victors, and continue what the girl from your district did last games. I want to continue the rebelious effort and continue to give hope to those without, so anyone I think I can trust I will try to help through this then when it comes to our group we'll sit in the middle of the areana and not fight, just sit there and talk about whatever until they cave and let us win, or kill us and their is o victor, showing how weak they have become." he finished and wondered what she thought, he whispered so only him and the two girlscould hear.

Dawn looks at Angel and nods "Yes I'm skilled with a sword and daggers. My dad taught me since I was little so you can say I had been training the whole time. Cause they never knew if I would be in the games or not." shrugged alittle. She leans back agaisnt the tree "But yea I think I can manage that..they would never knew what hit them." thinking about how the last games was. It was a good plan..forcing the empire to their knees and let all three of them win. "Yea I agree with you there..ever since I was little the empire had always torture us like we are dogs or something. While the rest who lives here live like they have no care about what happens to the rest of us." looking around abit before looking back over at them. "Things have got to change and its just up to us to continue this rebelious effort we have against the empire." whispering the whole time.

Angel smiles seeing that she was on board and fouind it to be a relief. "Good, lets see about a quick bite and drink." he said and took out some of the non perishable ffod in his supply pack and handed some to dawn, and trish and some for himself, and put the rest of that pack of food in with the supplies. He took a bite and fouind that it tasted good, a bit tough like jerky he had as a snack before the games started here.

Dawn knew she could trusted them after all if she didn't there would be no chance for her to make it out of here alive. She takes some food from Angel and eats it since they would need their strenght. Looking about as something seem to catch her attention hearing some twits snap and sound of people walking. But it was hard to tell how many there was. She looks back over at Angel and Trish nodding her head over to the noise since it was better to do that and not talk. Cause it would be bad if their cover was blown.

Angel and Trish nod their heads and look in the direction hearing the noise as well. Angel tried to figure out how many there were, it had gotten a little dark so they couldn't be seen easily.

(Sorry I haven't post in a while I been busy..one being sick with stupid allergies and also we had a family reunion yestarday. So I'm still kinda tired from that.)

Dawn plays with her locket for an moment before she place it back under her shirt. She figure the people would be coming to look for the others who didn't return yet. Reaches into her pocket and grabs a pair of gloves. They would help her hold onto the hilt of her sword better than bare hands. Dawn looks up over at Angel and Trish. It must be lucky for a girl like Trish having someone like Angel. She was began to think if she had gave up on Kain to much. But now wasn't the time to think about it. Kain was gone and he would wanted her to win this games along with Angel and Trish.

Angel saw that Dawn was thinking about something. He smiled in a friendly sympathy and watched his side while Trish watched hers. He knew they were close and he was always alert, looking as a new sound occured. He felt as if he was one with the forest around them.

Dawn takes a deep breath alittle keeping her balance on the tree branch she was on. Last thing they want was one of the branch snap or something that would alert the others who was drawing closer to where they was hiding. And they had to keep still as they could be to keep any leaves from dropping. Dawn removes her pack and hangs it on a branch before she moves closer to the edge. She already had a plan as she looks over at Angel. "Do you mind holding my legs? I'm going to hang upset down..that would easily surpised those who are coming...I can take out anyone who comes under the tree. And I can get out of the tree easily to remove the bodies before anyone comes and finds out what happen. While Trish is the look out." whispers
