Thank you again guys!

Sadly, I didn't get anything but I wasn't expecting to since I only had 1 ticket in the raffle. I wonder if someone was lucky to win two things.

Wow she did 0_0
She is one lucky person. I'm wondering if she's the one who mentioned that she got 6 raffle tickets because most of the time she got dust bunnies.

Ooh, question for those of you who took part in the raffle and are still paying attention to this thread:

We had it so that folks could win more than one raffle prize (just not of the same identical item), rather than limiting things to one raffle prize per person. This resulted in a couple people winning multiple prizes from the raffle.

If we do something like this again, would you prefer that we limit the raffle so that once a person wins something (anything) from it, the rest of their tickets are removed from the pool?

*hopes that made sense*

@Belly - I kinda feel like it would be kind of nice to limit it to one prize per person - just because I see quite a few multiple prize winners up there and quite a few people in here who say they didn't win anything and would have liked too....

You could do it like....you can only win once for a certain type of item - NPC items, CIs, EIs, and gold? that's always a suggestion too.

I don't mind multiple winners. It seems like kind of a waste to let people win tickets then not let them win more than once if their ticket is drawn more than once. It's just luck of the draw.

I think that if someone won multiple raffle tickets then that means they have the right to be able to win multiple raffle prizes especially since they basically missed a chance to win anything in the normal game by receiving those tickets in a sense.
If anything, keep the one win per prize category and then remove that winning ticket number from play (assuming that's not what you already do) so that their chances of winning lessen after the first win.

Belly and HOwdy did limit it to one *of the same kind of prrize* per raffle ticket winner.
it is fair that some people won more than one raffled item,
they had more raffle tickets and thus more chances.
also, like the above person said,
they didn't win a prize in that days square.
:)
it was done as fair as could be.
some people are just unlucky is all.
i would be more than happy to give my VIP ticket to someone who didn't win anything,
and doesn't have one.
just post asking for it and ping me,
profile comment me,
or private message me.

YOU GUYS DID AWESOME,
AS USUAL!

I think if you limited it to only one prize per person it would cause confusion especially since you do not know what they want to win the most and let's say they were drawn for the 7,500 gold prize but they really wanted the cloud hibiscus flower. so now that they won the gold but they won't get a chance to win what they really want. Since they do not win items on days that they get tickets why not let them win something for all those days they did not get anything. I mean during the event there was people saying they rather have a ticket then have one of the small prizes because the tickets give you more chances to win something bigger. I know however during the event I rather have some of the smaller prizes then had so many tickets...

No matter what you do there will be contraversity, why not award tickets to people everyday they participate in the raffle instead of finding "dust bunnies". Why can't people buy tickets to the raffle instead of being awarded them by participation? Why couldn't we see how you drew the numbers for the prizes Why this and not that... There is so many different ways to look at it and many different ways you could possibly change it for the future, but no matter what you do there might be people who are happy and people who are not.

I would not prefer it. I mean, it's not like this contest required a whole lot of work on the part of contestants, so if they don't win, they don't win, and if they do, awesome!

There were plenty of people who landed "nothing" squares and other people who had fewer dust bunnies because they won actual items. Getting raffle tickets should be the same way--you can win nothing or a little or a lot. Picking a square is already like picking a raffle number.

I actually think it was the most fair the way that you guys did it. I mean, why allow people to win extra raffle tickets in the games if they were still only allowed one prize? Especially when the extra ticket means that they didn't win anything in the game?

Really, I think the way it was handled was pretty ideal.

I think...yes, since you could have more people win something that way.
Like, you could still have people be allowed to get multiple entries, and they still have more chances to win, but once they win something, the rest of the entries are void.
(I hope that made sense.)

ALSO, congrats to the winners! :eager:
